I'm excited for them to show up, The LingTing one is coming from Amazon so it'll be here tomorrow and the others are coming from overseas so it'll be later this month. Hello! I came a across your yt acc and I appreciate your teachings. On the subject of 21key kalimbas, Im just wondering if is it possible to change the 21key B tone or F tone to C tone?
Greetings Robin! A beautiful kalimba; I had opportunity to try one of these alongside a LingTing 21-key. While Hluru's tone is lovely, I found the overtones in the lower notes to be too dominant. For my hearing, your demo model bears this out. The overtone of the low F key seems to confuse the recording equipment; I am hearing a high, somewhat "clunky" note each time you play the low F. Also, while the body is indeed beautiful, and I love the inlaid wood logo, I found it a little slippery as I played. Also I prefer to mark my own keys with Sharpie so I can wipe the marks off with alcohol pad and customize it again for whatever key I am playing in. It would be a hard decision aestheticly, but if I ever buy a 21-key kalimba, I will choose the LingTing. Thanks for another helpful review, and blessings upon you. ❤️

To make it F, make all the B keys into A# :)

This is the more advanced kalimba I own and I love it. Compared to my cheaper kalimbas this is certainly higher quality in both feel and sound
