Lennon's legendary status as a singer/songwriter/musician/performer has been documented and hashed and re-hashed millions of times over the past 6 decades - the big reason why I love Lennon is because of his humanity and his human flaws! Yes, his upbringing was a mess which led to his having to fight demons during his young adult life - he wasn't there for his son Julian and was not a very good husband to his first wife, Cynthia! As he got older, he tried to make it right with Julian and in '75 he semi-retired from the music biz to raise young Sean! John Lennon was assassinated way too young and before he had a chance to really reconcile himself! RIP, John!
