Now you know why the Beatles are innovators as soon as you caught onto one phase they were on to another. Mainly because of John, this is 1974 or 75. And in this interview John says he likes disco, reggae and he even talked about punk and new wave a little later. I first heard of disco in late 1976/77 always interesting always funny always witty! Love you, John. Happy Christmas in heaven.

Lennon's legendary status as a singer/songwriter/musician/performer has been documented and hashed and re-hashed millions of times over the past 6 decades - the big reason why I love Lennon is because of his humanity and his human flaws! Yes, his upbringing was a mess which led to his having to fight demons during his young adult life - he wasn't there for his son Julian and was not a very good husband to his first wife, Cynthia! As he got older, he tried to make it right with Julian and in '75 he semi-retired from the music biz to raise young Sean! John Lennon was assassinated way too young and before he had a chance to really reconcile himself! RIP, John!

I am a Lennon fan for life. I personally believe he was the best songwriter in the Beatles, and his solo work is phenomenal, especially John Lennon And The Plastic Ono band. Lennon left the world too soon…… I have always believed the man who killed Lennon (whose name I will not write), was under some kind of mind control, mk ultra type stuff. The whole thing is a tragedy. .

John eased the pain of a world that was in tears from the Kennedy assassination. He was a major force that helped bring an end to the Vietnam and Biafran wars by being one of the first pop stars to openly support the soldiers and call for transparency from the U.S. and British governments. He campaigned tirelessly for humane treatment of people around the globe, from prisoners of relatively minor crimes to people being tortured. He gave a huge benefit concert for disabled children at Madison Square Garden. He tithed on a monthly basis to charities that were dedicated to world peace. He worked with three other angels to change society for the better all of his life. What have YOU done with your life, Nina? I'm sorry, I didn't hear anything....What have YOU done with your life, NINA?

He was a reformed bully. He did a LOT of work on himself to overcome the deaths of his mother, who died on her way over to pay him a visit when he was a teenager, his supportive Uncle George and his best friend, Stu Sutcliffe, all within an 18-month span. So. What makes YOU a bully with that comment?
