The InterContinental Ruijin Hotel in Shanghai is the only garden villa-style hotel in the urban area. It has a huge garden lawn and various fountains and rockery landscape designs.The four seasons are beautiful here, It looks like a paradise of birds and flowers. There are many European-style historical buildings built in 1917 in the hotel. It was formerly the private residence of the British businessman Malice family. It has experienced a century of historical changes and witnessed countless legendary historical events.
In 1927, Chiang Kai-shek and Soong Meiling held their engagement ceremony here and lived here.
In 2015, Prince William of the United Kingdom also stayed at the Ruijin Hotel when he visited China, and cut the ribbon for Building No. 1 of the Celebrity Mansion, marking the reopening of this legendary historic building to welcome guests from all over the world.
Shanghai Culture Square is adjacent to Ruijin Hotel, which used to be the dog runway of the French business race in old Shanghai. The venue can accommodate more than 20,000 people,Known as "the largest casino in the East Asia". After the renovation was completed in 2011, the Cultural Plaza was transformed into the world's largest, deepest, and most-seat underground theater, as well as a large public green garden, becoming a new landmark building in the center of Shanghai.
上海的瑞金洲际酒店是市区唯一的花园别墅式酒店，内部有巨大的花园草坪，还有各种喷泉假山景观设计，四季景色秀丽，好像一个鸟语花香的世外桃源。酒店内有多座建造于1917年的欧洲风格历史建筑，它的前身为英国商人马立斯家族的私人住宅，经历了百年历史变迁，见证过无数传奇的历史事件。
1927年蒋介石和宋美龄在此举行订婚仪式并居住于此。2015年，英国威廉王子访问中国时也入住了瑞金宾馆，并为名人公馆一号楼剪彩揭幕，标志着这一充满传奇色彩的历史建筑重新开放，迎接来自世界各地的宾客。
上海文化广场紧邻瑞金宾馆，这里曾是旧上海的法商赛跑会跑狗场，场内能容纳二万余人，号称“远东第一大赌场”，并配有旅馆、舞厅和电影院等设施。2011年改造完成后的文化广场，变身为目前世界上最大、最深、座位最多的地下剧场，以及大型的公共绿地花园，成为上海市中心的新地标建筑。

那里的俱乐部和紧挨着的电影书房挺有特色，老上海人最喜欢的上世纪三十年代的味道。唯一不足的是有些房间有梅雨潮湿的感觉。总体感觉还是挺喜欢，去上海时是不错的选择
