what's interesting is her mom watches her streams, so clearly hears this
which is insane that they are relatively close now, at least based on what little we can see. It's absolutely unthinkable for a parent to forget their whole ass child unless they have some kind of memory issue. Makes you wonder how much of the care she gets now is because she is successful
Miyoung is one of my favorite streamers, I feel really bad that that was her experience. She turned out to be a wonderful person, but I feel so bad hearing things like this. I hope she can heal.
Ya that's partly why I enjoy watching her and Tinakitten because their perspective/appreciation of things I take for granted are so wholesome considering some of their childhood experiences.
Wow, this brought back memories because I can relate to this hard. I'm the youngest sister and was treated like this, too, but my older sister definitely had it worse. She was literally conditioned to be like my second mom, and I think that's why we're so close to this day. I literally choose, believe, and trust her over anyone.
This was my life as well. My sister was 7 years older than me and eventually she was babysitting me all the time. She resented me for it for quite a long time but now we're closer than ever. That shared trauma bonding lol

She’s like me fr fr. My parent also forgot about me a lot, they once forgot me on a island while vacationing. They went to the next island without me and i had to be brought to them 3 hrs later. They just didnt notice that i wasnt with them.

thats not that bad. imagine being forgotten and left at school until 8pm. sometimes school yard security and some after school teacher would feel bad and wait with me. only in middle school I figured its faster to walk 40 mins to get home then wait until 7 or 8 at night. its alright though, sometimes i like walking thru rain with no jacket/raincoat or during high heat and getting sun burnt.
I see that Miyoung has not yet to realize that her parents did not forget about her, they actually sold her as a kid, but the buyer didn't want her so they actually called her parent to come take her back.

Ah I was basically like Miyoung's lil sis, I have adhd, so school performance was not the best but my older bro was a prodigy so I would always get put down and belittled by my parents and extended family for being "dumb" while my bro was showered in praises.
Fast forward to now, my bro is a gaming addict with no job, no partner, lives with my parents still. Meanwhile I'm a successful PT making bank. Oh how the turntables....

Its def normal to forget a few times. I will tell my dad i will be in the toy aisle and grab me when he is done then they would forget or they bring couple of kids but one kid is so loud and naughty while the other kid is quiet and they might not notice the quiet one stop moving because the naughty one takes 100% of the attention.
