Good to see the harvest underway for you. Top drone shots at the start and the bike going over the jump. Loved Brads comment on the shaft, “ that doesn’t look good” and a great looking pup. Out black rescue greyhound doesn’t go well in the heat either. Hoping the harvest goes well for you all.
great spiritual law being demonstrated for one and all ."to those who have more will be given and to those who don't have even that will be taken away " or to all the new agers .the ebb and flow of the energy we sow. be bloody careful what you sow irrespective of what brand you've got on. well done boys and thanks god for blessing the boys . they work bloody hard .AND they don't swear. even though they're closet rev heads but more importantly they're good men. with that broken pro shaft better call the mobile ambulance [work truck ]
That opening drone sequence was one of the best I have ever seen Matt, congrats it was cinema quality. I think you lads will have to invest in a faster transfer system loading into your silos, that seems to be a slow point in the process. All the best for a warm dry harvest. pS Brad was the first one to break something 😁
Great video, awesome shots, very professional. Grain a bit dry at 10.+%. Please make sure the tipping site is very firm and level, I saw a rear tipping truck go over on the Newell Hwy while dumping gravel a few years ago. They all use side tippers these days. Thanks and good luck with harvest.
Matt, that's a nice rig and very well kept. This is one of your best produced videos! Great anthem intro music with the new rig. Nice slo-mo's, great drone shots and a great way to start off your harvest 🙂 A really great video!! Keep up the great work, keep Brad & Barney away from the auger PTO shafts and have a great harvest 🙂 Well done!
At about 17:30 something falls down from the top of the bin, something to do with the auger maybe? Thanks for bringing us along and hope harvest goes well!
Nice looking banger with a Cat in it 550 hp they work good ,,Remember Matt feel the gears double clutch and down the track you won’t use the clutch ,,,patience mate …I hope you blokes have a good season God bless you all cheers ❤️😇😁🙏✝️
Good looking star youve earnt it will save time and little trucks still get used good to see the old case earning its keep good to see were knot only ones that that has brake downs on day one ah wouldnt be harvest without it keep em rolling
Congrats on the Truck, I have a 2001 Star that's basically the same as that (but not as shiny). One thing to watch out for is if your coolant starts disappearing check the transmission we had a leak in the heat exchanger and it basically ruined the gearbox. And if that is a twin turbo CAT don't let it idle at low rpm the upper turbo can starve for lube. Are you growing a feed Barley or malting variety?
CAT C15 are a great engine …..2003 so hopefully single turbo ….over service it / look after it / keep radiator mega clean as parts are become expensive or simply unavailable. Worst part is cylinder head ( all CATs as you guys would already know ) they don’t like getting hot and crack and end up binned ….big $$$ if you can even find one . Make sure water level switch in header tank is working as they fail a lot and get bridged out ….you drop water and things end up ugly/$$$ real fast .
Nice truck guys. Might have to put straight through exhaust stacks on your Western Star truck...joking. I hope that the harvest goes well for you all, although Brad's has had a bad start. Thanks for sharing 👍
such a great video. The ariel shots of the barley bieng transfered from one truck to anothoer are marvelous. I love the screw effect as it comes out of the riser. The music is good also, who is it? An australen band? reminds me of Alison Kraus backing band.
Nice little 4900...good trucks and you actually got a bit of room in the cab and bunk unlike another manufacturer 😂 pre emission shit cant get better then a cat...will do you well...what is it just 90t rated?
How many gears do you have in that roadranger? Use to drive an Atkinson a few years ago it only had a 10;speed box. Just thinking that was 60 years ago, wow how time passes

Congrats on the licenses and truck boys
Those single turbo Cats are some of the best motors ever made

January video idea after harvest. Get your dad to go around all the old rusted machines he used to use. Old seeders, headers, combines, other.
With the amount of crop loses worldwide, due to massive flooding, fires and drought, prices for cereals should be through the roof.
thats farming , keep smiling 🥸🤓,Canada
Wooo Bring on the harvest videos 🚛🚜👍
Always look forward to seeing life on your farm, so different to coastal & suburban living, appreciate the effort you fellas put in.
The boys of the families will be driving the truck the grain prices will go up as there’s a lot of frost damage around the country

Excellent engine the Cat C15 MATT, sold quite a few of those engines and Kenworths with them.
MATT the slow mo of the combine emptying was excellent as it showed the auger pulse, very interesting to see that.
Really love the drone footage that was great Western Star motorbike truck 🚒 just to put around the paddock I enjoyed that show so😊 well done
It will be a shame to see harvest dust in that cab .it looks absolutely immaculate. Congratulations on a beautiful purchace .

Coolest intro I’ve ever seen on UA-cam I reckon

Oh my goodness mate, it's harvest time again, 😮😊,seemed like only months ago since the last harvest, 😊😊😊.
That footage is perfectly put together. Great video
I enjoyed that video on the harvesting process, really good, look forward to the next video.
Well done team hope you have a good harvest 👍

Phil's smile at the end says it all.

Great drone shots and a fine looking truck!
Beautiful mate.
Love the western star, very well looked after unit.
Said it last year & I'll say it again: baby powder on your skin to keep the barley itch away!
Nice looking star 👌
You'll have to nickname Phil, The Grinner 😂😂. Success for you all with the harvest
Hey up Brad had two working dogs hardly ever missing a day in 15 years they didn't do a lot but always involved themselves in smoko
Be big asset having your own big rig for moving grain Hopefully auger break down is the only one you have. And chaff conveyor systems run smoothly

Thanks for the tips!
That's definitely one big lawnmower

Great looking truck, congratulations team 👏👏
Very artistic opening drone shot.
Nice truck and some good crops
HOLLY

Holy sheep dip batman.
Love the drone

0:57 nice shot
Old Peter was sowing the seeds to buying the truck in the podcast when he said how many trucks does a owner/operator need 😂
Awesome content and so glad I stumbled across your channel. Where is your barley going to? Overseas, beer or other ?
Clearly that auger wasn't built to handle a Chamberlain, only made to Deere spec :P
Nice little 4900...good trucks and you actually got a bit of room in the cab and bunk unlike another manufacturer 😂 pre emission shit cant get better then a cat...will do you well...what is it just 90t rated?
I believe it’s just 90t👍
Just need an Alloy trailer to max out the payload, looks like a steel body (lol commented before Matt said a thing lol ;-)
When you guys watch UA-cam, do Watch overseas farmers etc. Millennial farmer etc or do yous watch something that’s close to home cheers 🍻
We watch a bit of everything when we have the time👍😁
Well at least it has a cat engine not a garbage dump Cummins engine the new Cummins are going bang big time kenworth is having lot trouble with them
so you’ve bought a truck....now you will have to buy a bigger boat !! p.s. LOVE the channel
Are we taking bets on how long before Dad straight pipes that C15? Just for testing purposes of course
😂
Awesome unit. Does that mean you have a fancy grain/ fert trailer on order as well?
Have to see😉
@thejacksonbrothers can't wait
@@thejacksonbrothersbe nice to pick up a low loader as well as

It’s a 16 speed👍😁
I’d say 18 speed Matty
@@thejacksonbrothers just interested what gearshift pattern gets you to 16 speeds?
Truck is missing 2 trailers...? Only has 1 on it?
Steady on😂
Come on its not even a Commer!.
That’s not good. Understating it a bit. 😂
I had to hit the Slo-Mo Matt to catch the 'form' on the ramp.. who was doing the Jump ? Looked Cool.. 1st take ?
Complete fluke, I didn’t even realise until later😂 it was one of Phil’s kids
@@thejacksonbrothersyes I spotted that as well.
