Good video, but you don't need to remove the entire shroud/starter. Use a straight blade screwdriver and the arrestor comes out through the opening, Once again, good video, saved my ass!!!
Do all the Stihl blowers have this issue? I'm looking into getting either the br450 or the br600 this week. Just curious if this is something I'll have to deal with regardless of which unit I choose. Thx.

so much easier not removing starter and guard i used a t20 straight driver , worked perfect

I'm not sure if they all have this issue. It does seem fairly common. Once I removed mine, I haven't had any more issues.
