That is an outstanding looking aircraft! I really do like those Piper Malibu/matrix/Maroge aircraft. I think I’ve read those. The only knock on them is that they’re useful load is a little anemic. But I wouldn’t know, especially since I’m tooling around in a little 152! Anyway, thanks for the video!
The Piper 46 series are nice planes...flew nice and very capable...my issue was no forward door(doors) for the pilots...after years of Cessnas kind of felt claustrophobic
Rich, non-active pilot, however it always amazes me how many different aircraft you fly. If I was still flying u would love to fly with you. Great job on your videos!!!
If I was not a bit short this week I would be over and see you, but, Maybe next week I get the winning ticket and I know just how I want to spend it. You show the AC very well as are all your videos. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing. C.
Super clean looking interior. Doesn't look like many people have been in the back. Any chance the folks from Goodyear would let you do a flight review on their blimp while it's hanging out at your airport? ;)
nice plane, great presentation as always--love your catalina shots--my aunt/uncle owned a hotel on catalina back in 50ties/60ties--dad would fly us out of compton, sometimes making two trips to get everyone!-the road down is harsh--it was actually better just to take the big white steamship, more fun for us kids-we had full access around that big ship...we would love to have a cabin like your big piper, nice nice
A question :-) In Germany you need a type rating for some aircraft you flown. Is it similar in the USA? I couldn't just fly a Citation M2 without a rating here. Your videos are great 😊
I've always liked the Matrix, but still think having the pressurization of the Malibu/Mirage is nice, although obviously creates more expense to run. $560K? Wow, the prices just keep going up. It wasn't too long ago where you could find a Meridian for that price.
I really enjoy the videos and would be interested to hear YOUR path to where you are. Flying is precise with little room for errors so I have to call you out on saying RPMs with the S. For me it's like an English teacher (or me) hearing a double negative. "I don't have no sunglasses". RPM = Revolutions per Minute. The plural is built in. You're saying is literally Revolutions per Minutes, which isn't an accepted term for units of rotation. I teach mechanical engineering at a university called "The Basketball Capital of the World". Just as in flying, in engineering, we need to be precise and speak the same language. Fly on Rich!!
I have been trying to correct that - what about a twin with two RPM needles, and I’m referring to two engines with matched RPM of 1900? Is it still 1900 RPM? Is a piston engine also a motor? Is an electric motor also an engine?
I'd still say my engines are running at 1,900 rpm. Either both are running the same or one is runnning at 1,850 rpm and then other at 1,900. I'm afraid we opened a Pandora's box on the motor/engine terms. I think it depends on your industry, local customs. If you work around here in the aerospace industry we say Pratt makes jet engines not motors. Electric Boats nuclear subs are powered by electric motors. The auto industry uses motors and engines interchangeably without any reason I can see. If you're up there in the wild blue yonder call it what you want, just hope it keeps running!! Cheers.
61 yo student. I love watching you fly the planes i wish i could afford. Lol
Does help identify criteria i may want to consider. Thanks for sharing.

You can load everything you own in one of these planes and it goes.
Wow, that shot at 3:30, spectacular.
Geographically, one of the most beautiful parts of the country.
My favorite piper product Rich. Well done
greased it. nice. beautiful plane/interior. If you said the hp I missed it. those are bonanza speeds for sure but the cabin appears much larger.
Genius!!!! This plane is Beautiful 👍🏼👍🏼🧿🧿☝🏼☝🏼👨🏼✈👨🏼✈🙋♂🙋♂
If you don’t need/want a pressurized cabin, the expense of maintaining it, etc….
But the look with some cost savings…
Another Great Plane & Video! It's Cool How You Fly Around So Relaxed Talkin' About Stuff Like Drivin' To MacDonald's For Lunch! Have A Safe Flight!
Looks a lot of like Piper Malibu Mirage. Thanks for the video.
Same without pressurization…
Very good information and excellent video editing.

Would be fun!
Well..we know Rich could Fly it!

It’s a bumpy road from the airport - at least the last time I was on it. Thanks for watching!
I flew at seventy three navajo on the freight run. Beat the hell out of this thing.😊
I love your videos. I am very impressed with all the different planes you can fly.
Thank you!

Turbine or 12.5k lbs and up require a type
I have a theory about that building you pass at 1:40
I see what you did here 😁
And I had to go back and look just to find out what you meant. That was hilarious.
Thanks, Einstein.
Looks phenomenal! Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to to being a customer one of these days 😎
Given the slow gear retraction and how fast this thing can sink with engine out I might leave gear down a little longer.
Nice video! Nice landing! Clean PA46! I hope you find a good home for it...
thanks Rich....nice airplane!
I'd actually never heard of the Matrix, great video, nice plane.

@@TheTjm007 Makes sense - I’ll continue to change the habit to on RPMs to RPM.
My dream plane. On the vision board.
Nice rich, John from San Diego
You're like Martha King: you've flown everything. Hot air balloon next?😺
Now we have the M700 Fury!
Apparently Catalina is a hot bed for UAP activity. Ever seen anything?
Goodyear blimp sighting! (Yes I know it technically isn’t a blimp anymore).
Gimme gimme. Sadly I’m only 20 hours into VFR training. Lot’s more to go before I’m in the pilot seat here.
Sweet plane!!
I am a huge fan of the Matrix, however I fear being 6'4" may be too tall for flying this model someday down the road.
Missing the cool opening riff.
Beautiful plane!
sweet ride.
Danke für das tolle video . Wie heißt die marke deiner Sonnenbrille, sieht echt super aus? Lg aus Österreich
Ist eine Sonnenbrille von flying eyes. Empfehlenswert 👍
Danke sehr werde mit besorgen
Fun vid, thanx.
love it!
Nice plane!
👍🏻
What are the first officers instruments.
Not exactly sure what you mean, but there are no instruments in front of co-pilot. Stand-by instruments on pilot side. Thanks for watching!
What is the range that it can go through water?
800NM range -water as in rain/ice? It is certified for known ice.
Really no reason for the Matrix. Might as well just get a Saratoga if you don't need pressurization. Otherwise, get a Mirage/M350 and have it all.
What’s one these usually go for$?
$500K range.
What happened to the approach?
Lost some footage and audio. I think our go pros are wearing out!
Has it sold or still available?
Sold.
Nowhere to go if the engine fails after takeoff...

How much is she?
$560K/offer
Richard you rascal......
