I wanted to thank you for making these quality videos regarding your 2015 jeep cherokee trailhawk. I have one identical to yours and it has been great watching your plentiful and thorough videos on this vehicle. I'm thinking of getting the same wheel spacer and headlight/fog light upgrades that you installed. I loved the look of it. It's a great vehicle.
When you drilled into the bumper, did you just thread the bolts into it without using a nut on the other end? Since there is no access inside the tubing of the bumper once you drill the hole.
@@CarGuy11 and it was the pod lights also maybe that was a cause having 4 pods wired in one harness. I dont know but great work on the bar looks great.
I just discovered the same thing today when installing mine. Those terminals on the fuse box are all positive. You have to wire the ground directly to the battery or another grounding location.
+CarGuy11 I'm going ro try and the mount similarly, but no steel bending dad! any brackets I can buy in store to do so? or do you recommend another kind of mod?
I like your install though. Sharp! I am getting this for my Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. www.amazon.com/dp/B0771B43M2/ref=twister_B01LYZB5CK?_encoding=UTF8&th=1
There is a supplied wiring harness. Basically you hook up red (positive) to battery and black (negative) to ground. Switch and light connect to the harness as shown in video.
Yea I've got that but when ure connecting the lightbar abd wiring harness Together which wire's connect where on there sorry I should had been more clear
Like I'm just confused with where the wires that come out of the lightbar and the ones that come out of the wiring harness come that's what has me confused
Unfortunately, Auxbeam (for me at least) has been nothing short of a sh*t show... It took them over a week to contact me and let me know that the lights that I ordered from the US warehouse not only weren't shipped... but were not available. Not gonna waste my money on a company that hasn't learned how to run a shipping department yet.
Why is this gay? What a stupid / ignorant comment. People are awful. This looks great and you did a awesome job on making an upgrade to the KL which is really hard to find market upgrades for!
Is it DOT approved?.....No its not, want to know why?....pull the vette out and shine that thing in the front or rear of it......I have been known to beat those things off peoples cars with a BFH......Huge fail....

This certainly improves the lighting!
Why didn't you mount it on the underside of the bumper? I don't think it would affect your approach angle any more than the tow hooks🤔
Definitely easier on top because you have access to bumper when hood is open.
Mounted that close to the hood, how hard is it to access the hood latch?
You can still fit your hand under lightbar to access latch.
just got my trailhawk for Christmas. Going to do this. thanks.
Nice! Congrats!
Very clean setup, I used a license plate bullbar to mount mine to but I like the brackets you made, just don't know about drilling into my bumper
+Terrance Thomas (FoxBurn) Thanks! Yeah they are covered by brackets and hood so was ok with it.
hey, do you have idea how to fix a grill or the red hook in front of the car? one of my hook went off ..
How do you access the hood latch to open the hood?
I can still fit my hand under the light to release hood latch.
When you drilled into the bumper, did you just thread the bolts into it without using a nut on the other end? Since there is no access inside the tubing of the bumper once you drill the hole.
There is access and yes used a nut.
I guess my year and model has a slightly different bumper.
How's it work offroad
Great! Very bright & can adjust angle.
I wired mine to that terminal onnthe fuse box and it would not power on. Had to wire to the battery
Strange it should have worked.

Looks great! Is it necessary to make your own mounting brackets? Was it not possible to mount the provided brackets directly to the bumper?
+phatbob72 Thanks! No the metal bumper doesn't extend far enough beyond hood for it to clear.
+CarGuy11 I'm going ro try and the mount similarly, but no steel bending dad! any brackets I can buy in store to do so? or do you recommend another kind of mod?
Unfortunately not, that's why I got my Dad involved. You may be able to figure something else out as there is decent room behind grill.
Have you updated to a HID kit for the headlights and fog lights?
No just halogen bulbs in this video. ua-cam.com/video/Aq7lYq5X1tk/v-deo.html
Looks really good man!
+Speedaholics Thanks man!
Looks nice. Great video. Shoulda gone below...blocks the grill, makes it tough to wash...but a great video overall. Bluetooth?
Thanks! Not controlled by Bluetooth no.

Will this work with the 2017 Grand Cherokee SRT8
+Gavin McCarthy Its a different bumper so will have to see where best to mount it.
which wire's connect to what wires?

White to white, black to black, red to blue.

Ah sorry to hear that.
Can you make/your dad make brackets for me? Lmk how much....
Sorry but, It would've looked better on the bottom.
easy to theft;
This may just be the most homosexual "upgrade" made to a vehicle. So gay.
lol

mustclime #triggered
+mustclime For use with high beams & when someone won't let me pass :)
Don't drive through NJ, they will ticket you for those.
That’s great deface someone’s property when they’re not using it.
Good thing they sell covers for them lol. Off road use only for mine.
I hate these things. More then half the people who have these don't need them..... I will not be putting one on my trailhawk.
