    Very beautiful. I am SO glad you get $1.00 a piece for your magnets. I tried to sell them for $1.00 and I only sold 15 out of 150.
    When I started selling them for 2 for $1.00 I sold more...but I really sold alot when I packaged them in pkgs of 6 for $5.00. I sold over 50 pkgs and I promoted them as teacher and friendship gifts. I guess you can never tell! The basket idea is a great one! Great tutorial!

    You need to make sure you glue the none grab side of the magnet. I use a safety pen to check the magnet.

      What an awesome idea with the maps!
      I was literally garage sale-ing this past weekend and scored a brand new 16 oz pkg of those clear gems for $.25 cents and a lady gave me a mega stack of Michigan state and county maps for free.
      I was going to toss the bulk of the maps (which I hated to do), but don't have to now.
      Perfect for my new geocaching hobby (modern digital app assisted treasure hunt) and making custom swag to trade.

    Cute... I have seen others in previous years make these, and I"ve done some myself for gifing when I am contracting and working onsite, along with a few other office type things that are usually seen as drab but I decorate them and make them fab... and the end, of your video I was thinking... ha! Her magnets are magnetizing to her audience... at the fair toward her little magnets. Oh, I wanted to ask... what size are these? My Dollar Tree used to have just small ones and big ones, but now they got one that is kind of in between these two sizes, but the bags are not marked as Large or Medium or small glass gems.

    These have been popping up a lot in my reccomendations. LOL Think it and youtube will suggest it. They are cute and look super easy to make. I dont think they would sell well in my area for $1 a piece ..2/$1 would go over well but i would still prepack them up. I would be more worried about them growing legs and wandering off. I have had ppl steal thiings from a yard sale .. weird bigger things like pots and pans or the super cheap quarter junk. . These are too easy to slip into a pocket or for kids to just pick up and walk off with (kids are never really the theives...its the adults ) ...Rather take time to package like ones in maybe groups of 4 to 6 and chances are they may sell better since there might be those one or two in each pack they want...If someone asks nicely i would switch them out if not busy. Extra plus..no need to take time to wrap them so they dont break. just hand them to them prebagged.

      Markets are always different. Mine sell very well, especially 6 for $5. I like to allow people to select the ones they want. I've never had an issue with theft. The magnets are about two feet from me so I keep a close eye on them. Sorry you have had issues with theft. People need should be kind and trustworthy.

      your welcome Debra. The travel to the craft fair was a bit crazy with some wild winter weather that was a bit unexpected. However, my sales were a bit better than last year even with the customer base traffic down.

    What do you do with the glass stones that are not really clear? I have found a lot of those and the if you put an image on the back, it is not reflected near as well as the really clear one.

    • @brendakirby2186
      @brendakirby2186 5 років тому

      You have to make sure you get the totally clear ones. They come in clear...light light green tint...and light light blue tint. I have found you have to use very bright images with the green and blue ones.

    • @karenmcnall
      @karenmcnall  2 роки тому

      I purchased it from Stampin' Up! many years ago. Although we do not carry circle punches now, you can simply use the Layering Circles Dies and stack about 3-5 scraps of DSP and die cut three to five at a time. Super easy.
