Taylah, firstly a huge Congratulations on buying your first home !! As a gran and mum of 4, I'm so impressed with your work ethic, videos and really, just about Everything you do.
The fact you can now have a home where you can do Exactly what you want, eg paint. hang pictures, change anything you want is a massive positive. My kids rent...the " you can't do this or that, hang a picture, plant a tree fgs" is so frustrating.
I'm also so relieved you didn't go down the 'reno' path...that takes more time and money than you could ever imagine. That $$ will be gobbled up by electricity, rates etc anyway...so huge 'win-win' for you there.

LOL....banks have closed at 4 forever..except Friday, when they close at 5...how gracious of them. Tho in my country town, we have no physical banks....either online or Post office.

I am so happy for your Taylah, buying a house on your own certainly deserves a round of applause. ( you should do a house tour when you move in!!). I am so exited to see this new and exiting chapter in your life.
Also I understand the health issue. I have gone through a 2 year journey with my hip. I was having pain in my hip back in 2021 and it took almost a year and half to diagnosed me with hip dysplasia . I went through 5 doctors, and did months of Physical Therapy. I had surgery late may to fix it and I am celebrating today being 7 weeks post opt, by watching your video!!! It has been a journey, and I am extremally close to getting off my crutches. But one advise I can give you, is always push the doctors. Most of my doctors just wanted to give me pain meds for the pain, but I always told them, I won't take it tile your figure out what is wrong. We know what is right and wrong with our bodies, and I had to learn to push them to figure it out.
And I wanted to tell you thank you for all your hard work, you inspire me to keep working on my small business, and doing the things I love, you are such a sweet and humble person. ❤❤
Break ups are the worst, you’re doing amazingly ❤ I would love to help contribute something towards your new house, I’m so excited for you being a successful and independent girl boss. I watch on with pride because you’re the same age as my eldest son. I just turned 50 and am stuck in the renting cycle since divorcing over 15 years ago. I would much rather be paying off my own mortgage and have something to show for it than paying off someone else’s. I wish I had done things differently at that age, so it’s great to see you doing so well. Sending hugs about, you know, the other stuff, it takes time x

Taylah, you also could be allergic to certain fiber contents within the fabrics. You might considering wearing a mask to prevent the tiny bits of fabric particles that float in the air while you are sewing - just something to think about. Congratulations on your new house and many endeavors that you have. Very smart young lady and thanks for sharing everything you do.

Hi Taylah, you sound like me with all the allergies and skin problems, it is so annoying isn't it and worse because it hurts too! What helped me massively is switching to sulphate free shampoo's and washes as it is really harsh for our skin. Have you recently switched to a different shampoo or facial wash? I can really recommend something with a flower oil in it like rose or rose water. I have dermatitis and psoriasis too but much better now😊

I live in Ohio and United States so sending a stove in a refrigerator would be highly unethical and probably very expensive but what I do have, but I can send you is at time of the material. It’s always one of those things for I said I’m gonna use it, but I haven’t used it and would love to see you take it and make it into something that I could buy and help you both ways and I would love that. I would love to see something that I buy thinking what all I was going to do with it and then see you do something with it turn it around into something special and then I would get to buy. I have chemical sensitivity and it's like goofy stuff sets it off, but if I use cleaning supplies or go out and am in the least bit oily or sweaty stuff sticks to me so if I wash my face as soon as I get home it helps a LOT... perfumes even set me off
Hi Taylah, As a fellow psoriasis sufferer, I find Dove beauty soap is the best for my skin. Stress is a very big factor in the flare up of Psoriasis. Also, try avoiding gluten flour, ( breads, cakes, biscuits, etc) and research the imbalance of Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids. (I avoid margarine, canola oils etc. and that seems to help). Love your videos.

I also hate asking for stuff etc, so when I got married (many years ago lol), I didnt do a gift list per se, I did a look book of stuff I like, my taste. I have to agree with your hesitation on accepting gifts. I have never done so and don’t recommend it. It takes your channel /business to a different plane. Earning from your channel is one thing….gifts are another.
It just changes things.
When I see UA-camrs accepting gifts…and these offers are huge gifts, I the channel never looks the same again.
And….you made the choice to spend $50,000 dollars more than you planned. That’s A LOT.

Healing will take time. My ex fiance left me and my daughter, he wanted a boy (his culture)! Told him before she was born i could do it on my own and I did. I raised her, took a long time to get over him but I got there and did it . I now have an incredibly beautiful and intelligent daughter who turns heads everywhere she goes and it definitely his loss! It'll take time x

34:33 girl honestly you might just have to start charging for shipping even if it’s over $50. Like it sucks but you need to be able to cover shipping and not going broke doing so. Or maybe raise the bar. Maybe everything over $100 or more free shipping. Don’t be afraid to do what you have to do to survive this recession.
I see you doing a combination of regular and burrito style. How do you choose? Is it based on the type of fabric?
It's most likely the width of the scrunchie. Trying to do a burrito roll on something that isn't very wide is challenging trying to roll it and sew it at the same time. 😃

I know you get concerned about your order being opened and taped shut. I live in the u s and I occasionally order yarn from turkey. It arrives in a huge soft bag and it has a large slit with tape over it. Every. Single. Time. I guess when it goes through customs that because it is a soft bag coming from turkey, it might contain illicit substances so it is opened by them to check. Just wanted to let you know that you're not the only one its happening to.
Right now you'd be extremely lucky to get a house for rent in Ireland for that price! It's absolutely ridiculous here right now and a massive housing crisis
You might want to take a scratch test (that’s what we call it here in the states).. to find out what you are allergic to. And if people want to donate let them. And honestly you don’t owe anyone an explanation about your private life. I figured it out after you said you moved in with your mom.. not everything is for public consumption and that’s fine.

I had allergic reactions where my face would swell up I could hardly see as my face was so puffy I had a red pimple like texture on my face it was itchy and would be left red then start to peel in clumps exposing skin so I went to the doctors and got a referral to a skin clinic and they did a patch test of 130 ingredients on my back and marked it all out I wasn’t allowed to wash my back for two days and then went back for a reassessment and they pin pointed things I was allergic to that are in quite a few skincare products methylisothiazolinone is one of them and is in most skincare products face wipes shampoo etc I went and used qv products for a while to go back to basic products and that worked quite well but could be an idea I’m also allergic to lactose but didn’t show up on any tests I did the Rodman diet as some things are a trigger to some people xx

Look for a functional medicine doctor, they can help find the root cause of health issues. I’ve improved my health with high quality animal products and lots of vegetables. A methylated vitamin b complex can do wonders too. I’ve been buying the Dr Thorne supplements lately. Good luck! Congratulations on the house.
