Hi there. This was a great tutorial. I can't wait to try this out as I am planning on starting my own scrunchie business. Thank you for sharing. Love and greetings from Pretoria, South Africa.
I’m so happy to hear that! There’s so many ways to sew them but I do like this method the most because it’s easy and looks great! Happy scrunchie sewing!
Lovely video. I only wish you would have provided the measurements in inches as well. I won't be using your technique as I find it too challenging to do the conversion.
I think I just used a regular sewing needle that was already in my machine! However for sheer fabrics a sharp small needle works well! I hope that helps!
The most thorough video I've seen so far. Thank you. I was confused about the "burrito method".
That’s great to hear! Yeah the burrito method is almost impossible to explain, you have to just do it to learn it 😅
That is the neatest scrunchie I have seen. Thanks love
Yay thank you, let us know how yours turns out!

Can I use a 1inch elastic to make scrunchie
Yes you can, just bear in mind that you will need to leave a bigger opening for the elastic to go through.
Thank you for this tutorial. It’s really helpful. May I ask what kind of fabric did you use?
Looks like woven Swiss dot
Hi I just saw this comment, yes it is a light-weight Swiss dot fabric ☺️
Yes it is 🙌
Which needle is used for that fabric please ?
I think I just used a regular sewing needle that was already in my machine! However for sheer fabrics a sharp small needle works well! I hope that helps!
