What a fun trip! Beautifully filmed and very intimate. So good to see all of you having a good time. Thanks for sharing your experience with us. Please post more like this!
3:35 if you look closely at the gas gauge on the instrument panel of the car, it should have a small arrow indicating which side of the car the gas is put in.
Beautiful country! Great place for sightseeing. Most Americans like me don't have a clue about countries like Georgia. You guys do a good job showing us your part of the world. It brings us all a little closer together.
Wow, that was fantastic!!!! I really enjoyed it. Great job all of you @RussianPlus, @Zack the Russian, @Dari Step, @sophia clare. Thanks for the adventure. The mountains were stunning. The fact that there were monasteries at the high moments is interesting. Slava Dios

@@RussianPlus LOVED it! So much that I've shared it on my Community Tab (tagged you), and just might be making my next lesson about y'all's travels 😉 Permission to use short excerpts, with attribution?? 😇
The plot and your contents way better than any other Russian UA-camr that I watched Eli from Russia-Nikki Proshin-Different Russia-Svetlana from Russia. All boring topics. I want to see more Russia with way better explanation before I travel there. Too bad US citizen couldn't even get the visa to Russia till it's open I am exploring by watching your videos. Thank You !
Tip for you - when trying to find out which side of the rent a car the Gas tank is on - look at the petrol gauge and there is always an arrow indicating the side of the tank. Good job love the shows.
Talking about not knowing which side the fuel fill opening is on.... on all cars nowadays, there is a small symbol on the daskboard that will tell you which side of the car the gas filler hole is located on. On the gas guage there will be an icon of a gas station pump, and on the pump will be a hose with nozzle, and the nozzle will be on the left side of the gas station pump if the gas filler hole is on the left side of the car. If it's on the right side of the pump, the nozzle will be on the right side of the car. So you don't need to look at the outside of the car to know which side of the pump to drive next to.
Awesome travelogue video- very well-made, great group of folks in it, stunning visuals- this strengthens my desire to visit Georgia someday, which has been on my travel radar for about five years or so. Seeing this bumps it up on my list! Thanks so much for sharing this with us.
Thank you for the memories. I was in Georgia in 2019, and drove the Russian Military Road to Kazbegi, stopping at all the places you visited. And yes the food and the wine are a gastronomic delight. Tbilisi is also a pretty great city too, with some great places for food and wine in the old town.
Awesome video Slava, as usual! This country is so beautiful with its huge mountains, its old churches and castles, its vineyards. Moreover the local cuisine must be truly fantastic, accompained by a good wine; I think I would appreciate it. Also the people looks friendly and hospitable. It is a place worth visiting, may be one day. I was really glad to see you all together. Zack and Dari seemed to enjoy this trip very much. Thank you for sharing this beautiful adventure in Georgia.
Slava in this video we can call you the old guy, the last months has shown how wise and smart you are. Another fantastic video stay fun, happy and safe .
Wow.....cheap fuel!! 3:45 in my country, Britain, the cheapest Supreme is $2.16 per litre. This is an excellent video and thoroughly enjoyable watch, the food I could almost "taste"!! Looking forward to seeing more of you guys in Georgia. Stay safe.
Wonderful video Slava! You really known how to spice up an ordinary vacation. As for Zack the Russian my first alcoholic drink was 3 shots of Seagram's 7 ( was it whiskey?) on a dare. Didn't get drunk but got warm afterwards. Never did that again. Today I stick to low alcohol wines or Ale ( close to beer but with more hops). Drinking is a pleasure not an opportunity to get drunk. Last time I saw a storm like that people were using their boats to transverse some of the city streets.
I am in shock how things have changed in the former USSR then when I lived there. Dunkin’ Donuts just blows my mind. I remember when Moscow just had McDonalds and Pizza Hut only. I understand this is Georgia but wow… I loved the food in Georgia always. Back then, an American could eat Georgian food (as opposed to Russian) and be very very happy. Again, there was hardly no food when I lived in Moscow. The Restaurants served the same thing in about every restaurant in every town. So in Russia’s defense, we never got to eat different foods unless we were a guest in someone’s home. I would love to live in Georgia.
Really lovely, beautiful and interesting trip on the old Military Road from Georgia to Russia. I was surprised to see wine vineyards at such a high altitude! Looking forward to many more videos as the Summer of 2022 nears. Keep up the good work!👍
thanks Mickey. okay so the vineyards trip was on the next day. certainly no vineyards at such high altitude:) that’s the beauty of Georgia. lots of things to be discovered
I haven't done the sign of the cross in more than 50 years but I felt like doing it each time you drove fast, right in the middle of the road between huge tractor-trailer trucks.
When there is zero visibility you need night vision in your suv. The Jeep Grand Wagoneer Series III has night vision. Just like army night vision. So Cool!
Wow and wow again..Georgia is amazing, the mountain ride is freaking amazing, greenery, views, foodies etc..I have a question if you don't mind, what is the dominant religion in Georgia?
Georgia and Armenia are Christian nations but also do not be afraid to visit Azerbaijan where main religion is Islam. But they will treat you just as good because they're a civilized nation. Just like Georgia.
Good to see you slava. Hot chicks, great wine, beautiful mountains, good times. I saw some videos by Zack, he is truly a good guy. Enjoy and importantly stay safe guys!
thanks. we all thought it looks like Switzerland because of all the green hills. I think everyone has this image of Switzerland being extremely green and covered by mountains. so that was the point of comparison. Switzerland is way more advanced of course. Georgia has a lot of catching up to do
A bit of history, Georgia was a part of Iran until 1813. Between 1813-1828 different parts of Kafkaz territories were ceded by Iran to Russia as part of various treaties (Gollestan 1813, Torkmanchai 1828 when Iran ceded Georgia, Araan & Talesh (incorrectly named by Stalin as Azerbaijan in 20th century), Armenia, Nakhjivan...)
No. Georgia was never a part of Iran. In fact, was an independent state longer than Iran (since they were ruled by Arabs and then Turkish dynasties).
