Thanks Shay. The Wizard of Oz was the very first movie I ever saw in color...yes, I am that old. Color TV's had just come out and an appliance store in our town invited customers to their store to see the color tv's and they showed The Wizard of Oz. I went with my Dad and it holds a special place in my heart. Already kitted up and ready to go. I am going to do Poppy The Cat.👠👠👠

This movie holds a very special place for me. I remember what a big deal it was that one night a year it came on TV! I wore out the record album skipping in circles around my house with my stuffed animals. 👠

Ohhh this event sounds fun! I lost my entire Wizard of Oz collection in Hurricane Ian after years of procuring everything and anything from the movie. I completed the DAC Dorothy and Toto a few months ago but maybe I’ll get another painting for the event and start collecting again 👠👠♥️

I just started DAC Wizard of Oz and set it aside until August. I have that same book to add to the month. But I am most excited that you mentioned tornados. I have a Diamond Dots kit of a tornado on a farm!!!!! Never thought I'd see an event for that kit. Wahoo!!!

I will be doing Wicked Black Tea by Simona Candini. This movie is special to me like a lot of holiday movies from my childhood. Unlike the children today, we only had one opportunity each year to watch them. There were no reruns of them, no streaming, etc. So when they aired, all five of us kids were absolutely glued to our little tv with our “Jiffy Pop” 👠👠👠

Hey Shay! 👋🏻👋🏻 New subscriber here! You popped into my recommended Monday while I was at work. I’m a full time nanny and the baby was asleep….. I was looking for new DP channels/videos to watch. Monday my precious Dad would have been 98…so it was meant to be! ❤ I did a lot of diamond painting a few years ago. My first order from DAC was September 2019, before that it was Amazon and a few from Ali Express. I am a crafter with a short attention span, I tend to hop from one craft to another. August 9th is my last day of work, I will be officially retired! I will be 63 in September. I will definitely have much more time for diamond painting then. Woohoo! I have about 10 kits put up from my last dive into DP. (Not all DAC) The more expensive kits will be few and far between then. I prefer round to square. Tried square once and it ended up in the trash. 🤦🏻♀️ No real big canvases for me either. That’s enough for now. Going to binge watch your videos. 👍🏼😁 Terri in South Carolina 🌺
