Landscape Photography At Black Nab

- This weeks landscape photography video comes from the Yorkshire coast, I pre visualised an image that I thought might work in black & white when I came to Black Nab a couple of weeks back, so I'm back to put this visualisation into action and seek out more landscape photography compositions around this beautiful part of the Yorkshire coast. In this particular location due to It's rugged textured landscape It's really important to make sure that the elements In the scene are balanced and create flow throughout the landscape photography composition.
To my surprise there aren't many black & white landscape photography videos on UA-cam about Saltwick Bay so I though I'd put mine up and see how it goes down with the landscape photography fraternity. Hope you enjoy the video. Regards Stuart

Looks a perfect location for black & white. I really wish I had such a location near me, sadly Birmingham is about as far as you can be from the sea.
Thats a location I will bookmark for the next time I am away in my campervan. I have been to Whitby a few times but not on that side of the town. Your vids are a nice relaxing look at the locations you visit so thanks for continuing to post them up. 👍

Iv'e said it before and I will say it again, your fast becoming my favourite go to photographer, another excellent video. We have a few places around South Wales that are similar that I have photographed many times, and I think it's about time I do a revisit.

Some lovely shots there, Stuart. Perfect for conversion to black and white. I couldn't help noticing the lovely rock stratification behind you on the cliffs, but not much chance of a decent composition, apart from an abstract one, I suspect. Strange, but a few of the photographers I follow on UA-cam have dogs - Nigel Danson, Simon Baxter - so you're in lofty company! She's called Lottie? Lovely photographs. If I may give one piece of advice regarding digital BW conversion. If at all possible, and if it is to your taste try and emulate a film look with digital BW photographs. I find digital conversions have that ' clinical digital ' look which at times make the subjects look unnatural. Thank you for your lovely video.
