Kelly, your coloring is so lovely and appreciate your explanation. I'm new to alcohol markers. Any recommendation for a beginner and less expensive markers?
I do love cacti, but these look better than ANY of mine!? Lol Going back and changing the color on the second vase, ummm, pot(tic), I couldn't believe the difference! These are just beautiful Kelly! 👍💕🌵
I love to watch you color, I love all of the details and the colors! I am surprised that with your's and Eric's law enforcement backgrounds you both got it wrong...lol better luck next time!
Oooo - I have used grays for creating the shading, but never thought of coloring over the base in that way. Cool - sure beats trying to shade all of the itty bitty bits and trying to get that right! I think for the round cactus, you could easily cut it in half vertically and get 2 cards from it. Thanks for sharing the techniques. I’ve been coloring for a long time, but I still pick up new tips. I love talavera pottery - I think these designs give that vibe.
It's very Harry Potter-esque, watching your coloring come to life. Not one thing I make is suitable for the viewing public. What you do pretty much effortlessly is literal magic in the real world. ❤
I just got your name from a friend and loved this first video as I do a lot of copic coloring too. Looking forward to seeing more. Thanks so much. Edna B.
I’ve never planned sufficiently it seems. I have learned SO much from you today in just this one video. Thank you so much👍🫶💪👏👏👏👏And I love your manicure 😁
This was incredibly helpful!! ☺ The colour wheel has now made sense. I have a colour wheel in my hand and what it states on it I couldn't understand. I'm hoping I will remember your explanation and techniques as my memory is not as great as it once was. Thanks for this video. 👍♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Your knowledge of color is way over my head, but this shortcut technique is very helpful. You made these cacti look real, your talent is amazing. I was disappointed that you did all that beautiful coloring on the pots then cut half of them off. These stamps are definitely made for a 5x7 or larger card. I wish more card makers made 5x7 cards. The murder mystery dinner sounds like a lot of fun. I would like to do that sometime.
Awesome technique Kelly. I found that super interesting and will give it a go. Love these images. CCC does such a great job of the oversized images, I love them. Thank you so much for sharing this with us, I very much appreciate it. Keep well. T x 🇦🇺
Beautiful images and love your cards, great tip/technique on shading, will have to give it a try. Thanks for the idea on gifts, I like the idea of an activity as opposed to a thing. Happy belated birthday to Eric.
Those are really cool! It amazing how a your shading and white jell pen make them so dimensional. As always I learn so much watching your videos. Glad you all had fun at the mystery dinner.
Beautifully done as usual! You are a coloring queen for sure! I’m so sorry about your anxiety but happy you were still able to enjoy. You take care! 💕🙋♀️
Hi Kelly, you've done such an amazing job coloring these pots. I love the way they look, so realistic, and the multi-colors you've used. It's not easy to combine colors or shading. You are an inspiration. Thank you for teaching/showing. Take care.
Love these so much. As you were placing things on top of the round cactus I actually winced a little thinking ouch fingers on those spikes haha. They look so dimensional.
Beyond cute - love the info about the color wheel and using colors next to each other. WOW, you are amazing and I appreciate all the insight and teaching you do! I do struggle with where the shadow should be - thanks for the video. AWESOME!!!!
Hi, Kelly! I’m just catching up on videos. I had eye surgery so am a bit behind. Your Murder Mystery tale made me smile and brought back many memories. My husband and I went to a Murder Mystery once. This was so long ago, our cell phones did not have cameras! It’s a shame that memories tend to fade. I just remember a couple things. We got there early so we had drinks and appetizers (shrimp cocktails) up on a rooftop deck, overlooking the city. And I don’t even remember the plot! But I do remember that audience members were selected to participate! I was cast as a zombie! We new cast members were herded into a room and coached until it was time for our entrances! My husband patiently waited for my return! Big surprise! We had never been to a mystery before or since!
Once again”outta the park”. You never stop amazing me with your talent! And the birthday gift for Eric, so clever. I would love that. Stay well.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Love the copic coloring tips, Kelly (especially the greens). I always learn something from you. Gorgeous card!! These pots could be sold at Home Goods or At Home!!
I love the murder mystery idea. Hubby took me to do glass blowing for V day. It was so fun. Actually no blowing involved. For someone who has been in the bed for years, it was so fun to get out of the house and it not be a Dr appt. He likes experiences too.

Love the pots! It's just a shame that some of the images needed to be cut off! Eric's present sounds excit6ing! Glad your sisters could join!
