The line "Cebu City doesn't pretend to be beautiful or perfect" is the best description I have seen so far. Indeed, it is raw and it's bustling.

Thanks so much! It's an incredibly raw city... That said, I think it could benefit from some parks 😂

Welcome to our home island Cebu. Hope you enjoy the madness and beauty of the island. You really won't see it's natural beauty and wonders till you drive south from the center of the city, there you will find forest, mountains, pristine beaches and stuff Gringos love. GL!

Thanks for watching Jetd! Cebu Island has so much to offer and I love it. The city itself is a little more complicated and would benefit from some parks and walking areas. Cheers! :-)

Thanks for featuring my City - Cebu City! Buddy, I tell you that is the new Carbon Market you just featured. Glad you weren’t there when it was just all mud. I hope you didn’t missed knowing the history of that school infront of barracks which is University of San Jose Recoletos (USJR) and University of San Carlos (USC) in mid-town. Those were pre-WW1 if im not mistaken. Also, near Carbon we have Plaza Independencia from pre-WW1 and our museum is there too. There you go 😅

Hi Joana! Thanks for checking out the video and taking the time to leave this comment. I'm glad to know the Carbon Market has improved. Cool that there are some important historical buildings around there. I'll have to go check out the museum. Cheers! :-))

plastic utensils are preferred because they're disposable and unlike metal ones, we have to worry about who used them and how they cleaned them. We are very used to using spoon and fork together hence it's easy to use the plastic ones too. You can actually use your fork for the sausage. no need to cut it or use your hand. I hope you had a good time.

Thanks for watching and sharing! Even the plastic fork was having a tough time getting through that sausage, but those are small details. The people of Cebu and all of the Philippines always make the stop worthwhile. :-))

Funny, Cebu city was my first city I visited in Phils. I rented a car for 3 months and toured the entire city and island using my cellphone for navigation. I stayed in random pension houses and hotels. My favorite Hotel was Bai Hotel in Mandaue area. I met the owner who graciously upgraded my room to the penthouse suite. I also enjoyed Naga city, Argao, Moalboal and many other amazing spots. I prefer Cebu city over Manila City. I found it easier to navigate by car

Thanks for watching and leaving your experience! I agree there are lovely places on the island. I just came back from Moalboal in fact, and it's amazing! But I find there's a real lack of parks, sidewalks and recreational spaces in the metropolitan area of Cebu. Glad you enjoyed it though!

I.t. park i think is where the party place at .. but this is my knowlesge years ago.. go to Mactan for the some quick beach or quick island getaway..
If u go to Dumaguete, u might like the vibe.. more university town, mote itnellectuals and less of a busy city like cebu.. its south of cebu city

It seems like in Mactan it's very difficult for "regular citizens" to visit the beach. You need to pay a day pass at a resort or something. That's unbelievable! I've just been going down to Moalboal whenever I get a chance. Love that place!
