roger that, I remember one of the funniest things a drill sergeant said to a recruit while I was at Sandhill Ft. Benning, GA during my 11Bravo OSUT he said to the Private, "Give me your mother's phone number...I need to call her and ask how in the fuck did you manage to dodge a goddamn coat hangar for 9 months!" Lmao or another time we were low crawling a guy got too close to me I booted him in the nose and it was just pouring blood same guy says "We aren't stopping until you make a full circle of blood in my floor private!" so the crawling continues and so does the blood and sure enough after a bit we had a nice smeared red circle of blood, we are then told "toe the line!" we are all at attention and he says to the poor guy who has the leak, "Private you ever seen a dog with worms in his ass? Now get down on your ass and scoot and get that blood off my goddamn floor!" I felt kinda bad for him actually I mean hell we were basically blood brothers then anyway.

This one time, in boot camp, I was a songbird in church, and I would sing songs every Sunday. No one knew I was just using it as an excuse to go to Chow twice. And I would do the same thing with medical and dental appointments. Once I got to the fleet, I knew exactly how to get out of everything. We call it skating.
