I really feel you, I'm in a dry season as well and it really sucks. I was on fire at Christmas and January, then I sat an exam that didn't go so well and I just felt super disappointed, many things are not going the way I'm praying them to/I want them to, and it's hard to be passionate about Jesus right now. I've been stuck at home for over a year now trying to protect my family and I'm just too depressed to find the energy to pray, watch church on sundays and wholeheartedly pray. I'm not proud of this, it makes me feel ashamed and undeserving but I'm trying my best... thank you for being open, it's frustrating when it seems like you're the only one going through it!
Unpopular opinion: TJ’s is for single gal shoppers. Portions are too small (+expensive) to make those big dinners with leftovers for work lunch the next day 😬

It took my family a long time before we found a church that was the right fit. We now regularly attend (online at the moment) a church where we feel comfortable, accepted and at home :) Absolutely take your time to find the right fit for you guys! (p.s. Hi from Ontario, Canada)
I really enjoy these sit-down talks, especially on your podcast. Something that has really helped in walking with The Lord has been to put my feelings aside and start being disciplined with my prayer and reading my Bible. Whenever I feel lazy or am just too tired or not inspired, I remember that Jesus Christ died for my sins and I DEPEND on Him for anything and everything in my life

I think a house is not an investment it’s a liability. I think it’s only an investment if it’s paid off or if you buy an apartment complex. That’s my opinion tho. But take your time! Buying a home is the biggest expense you will ever have . Good luck!

Also want to add what my priest said on Easter which moved mountains for me: he was explaining how the disciples legit saw all the miracles of Jesus and when he died they even lost faith and hid until he rose again. How our relationship with god from the beginning of time has always been us being faithful and when we lose touch in that, god continues to reach to us and bring us back-even the disciples who were with Jesus. There is one sentence my priest said that I love with all my heart and it’s a short prayer that goes “God I believe but I pray to my unbelief.” That we pray to God and thank him for our faith but we pray that he guides us with our unbelief❤️

My OH is a Christian and I just spoke to him about what you said about your relationship with God and he totally agreed like all relationships it takes work. He falls out with God sometimes. It happens when he has struggles when he feels alone and that God wasn’t there when he needed him. When that happens I do try to say that God is there for him but he wants him to learn something or be humbled. It’s hard for me to watch (as a non Christian) But, they eventually make up though 🥰 - I feel better when they are buddies again. Great video as always, Cash a cutie patootie!
