Pro tip: just before bed fill a Nalgene(or comparably sealable bottle) with boiling water and toss it in the bottom of the sleeping bag..mini heater for the toesies and will stay warm most of the night. AND you'll have luke- warmish water in the am to cook/coffee with(less heating time) ✊🏾

Dustin, bruh, whatever happened to “making things”? I’ve watched as your YT has you evolving into a corporate shill, which is a bummer IMO.
Of course, you didn’t go into full sales pitch mode in this video, but it has been a trend. I do, however, have a suggestion: check out the Laura Kampf yt channel. She’s in Germany, speaks perfect English, and makes RAD sh!t, including bicycle stuff. Would be great for you to interview her, and see you become inspired to make more things of your own. Laura has mega subs to her channel, so if you interview her you’d prolly get some subs of your own from her viewers. Good luck, bud.

There is good reason not to run a frame pump on a MTB but it doesn't bother me if you do.
You need to do some videos on how you visually customize your clothing and bikes.

Used is smart. Try community cycle center on Alberta st they are great and afforable(supply depending) You would be fine with a hardtail!

I actually totally dig them. They work great, look good and are rugged which would be perfect for cycling.

FT 🚐’r here… when it gets down into 32 deg & below I sleep in a hoodie, jogger pants, wool socks and a beanie. I usually have a down duvet on my full size 8”memory foam mattress but then I add a down blanket or 2. Also helpful is a “hot water bottle” - Boil water pour into a big Nalgene bottle, wrap it in a towel and keep it by your feet or mid section 👍🏼… enjoy the cheesy, toasty, dreams 😅

Frame pump is cool, especially on that bike. Cheese in a jar... Good idea... Not so sure about the sleeping bag with a hood at the end... Michelin man sleep system looks comfy.

Also.. surprised you use an alcohol stove, the UltraLight hikers love them, but it seems like a JetBoil/MSR canister stove would be great for the DKlein Research Facility. Fyi if you cannot use clean fuels rubbing some dish soap on your pot before placing it on the flames prevents sooting.
I don't run a frame pump on MTB, but I might have to start. Definitely superior to jerking a little pocket pump.
