Thanks for the Hellooooo!! Glad you’re safe!! I always check the tips on the cans too 😁 When I buy the qt cans of rustoleum I have them put them on the shaker 😁
gladly you didn't had a lot off damage and didn't have much to clean up, hopefully you will have soon the power back on. yep that was a very old sealing there that had to be renewed. water can be a pain in the ... and is better kept out a vehicle. well done and be safe. thnx for the shout out, i really appreciate it big time.
You're right @VW-BEETLE-OVAL-1955, I'm grateful to have minimal damage from that storm. I'm happy to say the power was back on after 3 days. Thanks for watching!
"There's actually a bit that does this nice and easy but it's very expensive." I heard this and had to rewind to make sure someone hadn't recorded me talking lol
I look forward to the solar panel project! There's a lot of surface area up there for solar. Also, those olympic rivets are very cool. First time I've heard of those.
Yeah, adding solar will be pretty cool. Surprisingly, the infrastructure beyond the panels themselves is the coolest part! Agreed about the rivets, they make a great solution for stuff like this.
Hi, Brent nice cleaning up after the Hurricane nice outside woodstove, hopefully, the windows in your motorhome are water safe now.well done,g reetings.Hubebertus.
Nice job and an enjoyable video. Would the sealant you used allow you to tape off (masking tape) on the glass and the metal frame edge? Allows easy feathering and clean up. Looking forward to more videos on the RV and I’m really happy you and the dogs are safe and sound after the Hurricane.
Thanks Aussie Beatle! Yes, masking works well as you described and gives a nice straight edge. The rounded corners complicate things a bit although it can be done with thinner tape and a little more time invested. Just decided to go free hand this time! I'm glad there's interest in the RV; I'm hoping to include more of the work that is done over time. Thanks for the well wishes!
G'day, I love your RV it's awesome. With putting the corking around the windows have you tried the corking kits on Amazon. All different types of amazing angles designed for exactly what your doing. (Ask me how i know 🤔). Thanks for sharing a great video. ✌️ Peace from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺.
Thanks Kevin! Yes, I've found much of what I needed at Vintage Trailer Supply and Inland RV here in the states. Unfortunately, most of the fixed windows on this RV must be removed (requires drilling out rivets) to fully replace the seals/gaskets. I've done some of that for "permanent" restoration but it's not practical for the periodic procedures. It's a lot of work but worth it!
Dogs, Mosey Home, and wood charcoal all in one video.
It's your one stop "shop".
Thanks for the Hellooooo!! Glad you’re safe!!

Absolutely, tricks of the trade! When I slide the cans across the counter, they sometimes have this look of "I wish you didn't know that..."
Glad you survived the hurricane without serious damage.
Thanks Jerry, me too!

Nice shout out Brent.
I’m glad I’m not the only one that pulls the caps off the cans before buying them lol.
Love the rivet trick. Nice!
Thanks for supporting the channel Robert! Yeah, the cap thing...
Diggin' the RV. Good for you for keeping it alive!! Love the progress on the Beetle...
Thanks Kentucky Hot Wheels, it's a great RV for what we do. More on Dweezil soon!
Looks like You made great progress, neat RV your Puppies are very well behaved, thanks for the update.
Thanks David! I'm lucky to have a couple great dogs, and they think the RV is neat too. Thanks for always being here!

Thanks Dalton!
@@HapticGarage you’re welcome! you gonna be at buggies on the beach by chance?
Hey Dalton, I'd love to but looking like it won't work out this year. Bummed about that but I hope you are able to go and have a great time!

That sealant looks like it sets up fast! Nice work!
Yeah Dub World, it's good stuff. Stays in place well while it cures and does decently well in the FL sun. Thanks for watching!
