EXCELLENT idea. Never had or tried this but looks awesome. I usually avoid the non spiral cut hams in the grocery store but next time, I might just grab it to try this recipe out! (that glaze slow pour was marvelous lol)
OK....Why not spritz it with Pineapple juice too if its in your sauce....and.... after you put it in the aluminum pan and wrap in foil, the smoker adds no flavor.....the kitchen oven is easier to maintain a consistent/accurate temperature.
Thanks for the input. I didn’t want to spritz with pineapple juice as it has a lot of sugar. Additionally, I wanted the flavor of ACV. You’re right, not much smoke is added after wrapping . But I like to finish what I’m cooking in the (a) smoker. I never use an oven to finish bbq. Plus, the Blaze Kamado holds temps way better than my oven. No comparison…
That's a great way to cook a ham. I have done that quite a few times and it always comes out good!
It really is! I was surprised

Same here, Sal. I’ve always avoided non-spiral cut ham. Not anymore!
Amazing ! Gotta try that one !!
Let me know how it turns out! Thanks for watching, Jody!
