You forgot to sin the fact that Dom, a Thug from LA who is good at driving was able to beat Luke Hobbs a highly trained special forces agent in a fist fight.
Simple: that's because Dom's got Protagonist Privileges. The same thing that allows his car to drag around a ten-ton vault by itself and emerge from a large bus crashing unscathed. Hobbs is not yet one of the good guys so he's at an automatic disadvantage.
No Protagonist privileges put a street fighter up against someone like Hobbs, Growing up the way Dom did, going to Lompoc, a high security prison where I guarantee were a few fights, surviving Lompoc, getting into other Street fights, meanwhile Hobbs is basically an over qualified Security Guard.

You're complaining about them racing identical cars when they steal the cop cars? If the cars are identical, then the best driver will win. It makes perfect sense to me.
Yeah, if you're driving a sensible family car. Once you get into drag race level torque/weight ratios the driver has to do a shit ton of work to keep the car from flying off the road and killing him or her, let alone getting the fastest time out of the car.
Gakk 86 they are racing automatic police Chargers, probably so heavy with equipment they can't even do a burnout without brakes. The race as it is depicted in the movie makes no sense.

Interesting point most don't think of. I didn't. Even if you don't know about asymmetry, it still does not make sense. Are they going to apply the print as is, with the thumb on the wrong side? Are they going to mirror the print? Even my cap sits uneven on my head, because my ears are uneven.

You can not drive ANYWHERE in Brasil with out killing your car even at less then normal speed. The biggest highway in Brasil goes at 20miles an hour and the fact that there is traffic NO MATTER THE TIME plus the fact that potholes are everywhere to the point you can barley call it. A road
well julia, they made NY and LA look like ghost towns even in the middle of the day, which is absurd. Even lalaland had more accurate LA traffic than this franchise.
All those satellite TV dishes on the roof in the poor part of town? That's actually very realistic. I've seen 48-inch flat-screen TVs in shacks made of tin in Peru. So, maybe just sin reality.
No, that's not how it works. If you blink when you're firing a weapon, you are flinching. And you should not be flinching when firing a gun. It's very difficult to avoid flinching though, so it's not unusual to think someone would, even after training.
If they're anything close to stock weight, try like 4200 lbs. But yeah. The tires and soon the diff would be toast before they got ten feet. The safe wasn't even on wheels, and even then, the cars wouldn't take it for very long, or get up any real speed
+Arnold Rivas Yes, the movie did indeed fail with that one simple task. Half the lines they say in "Portuguese" sound so bad in their "accent" that they actually sound nothing like what their subtitled translations would have you believe they mean. Hence, why understanding Dom and Mia took way too long
+BMAN48877 So.. Which one is unintellgible? I'm just asking for research purposes, not because I want to get you all sorts of hate... Nope, never that. I'm a good person.
Muscle and power are two different things. They're both big and ripped. He could probably win in a fight with the rock. Its not like if he was skinny and never worked out.
14:35 Jeremy, you’re quite correct to assume that two Dodge Chargers wouldn’t be enough to pull ten tonnes of safe out of a concrete wall. Even if they had enough torque between the two of them to pull that kind of weight, the tyres are spinning on the surface as they’re tugging on the cables so they actual amount of force they’re having is greatly diminished by the lack of friction. Basically, those rear tyres are going to burst long before the wall does.
@@zaydhaque9090 Yes, they can. A car can pull a plane. Tow ratings are not based on engine power and have no relevance here. You've obviously never been to Europe where you have 120 HP trucks carrying over 4 tons or 400 HP trucks carrying over 10 tons. Those were SRT Chargers, had 430 HP at the time and around 600 Nm of torque. So they have at least 860 HP and 1200 Nm of torque between them. It would mostly be an issue of traction. Those Chargers already have limited slip differentials from the factory. already have We're talking about street racers so could easily install low range gearboxes made for pulling, etc. It's definitely possible. Just not very realistic crashing through buildings and all that.
@@weedmastersr I've been to europe, and I have 100% seen it, but also those trucks have waaaaaay more torque than a charger, and anyway, there's no way you can pull it out of a wall, especially since they were losing traction, it's not possible, simple as that
@@zaydhaque9090 its funny because that is an actual 9000lb safe and not cg. Alot of the final scene was practical. The only time it went cg was for the end where it swung Doms car around. And even part of that was still practical
I suppose you also think the same of a terrible quarterback making tons of money ? Racecar divers? Etc? Good for that person, but also makes a mockery of the art and causes others to want insanely high amounts of money to do better than average.
about sin 118, it's like that all over south america at least, the poorest places that don't even get water or a sewage system have direct tv, it's so fucking stupid
Lol, all over the Caribbean too, tho that's because the governments are supposed to be paying for that infrastructure, while people can buy DirectTV themselves. Moving into a better neighborhood is prohibitively expensive, but a satelite TV package is somehow affordable
This movie series, if stupid tween girls have Twilight, stupid teen boys and street racers have Fast and the Furious. Two mind numbing series that leave anyone with a brain after viewing saying, "What the fuck did I just sit through?!"
nudl3Zz For girls they are, obviously, considering its ridiculous popularity. Fast&Furious is very much like Twilight in the sense that it's made as the common boy's wet dream, without making any sense on its own.
Every time someone says "It's just a movie" when something ridiculous happens in a movie that brakes the laws of logic and physics without explanation . I say . Well why they just didn't make them teleport or why they don't jump 200 feet high.
SuperBeanSquad Suspension of disbelief and total ludicrous bullshit are different things. Like when someone gets shot and can still function fine, that's alright, because although it is not all the way realistic, it COULD happen. Maybe. Someone falling a long way and having their fall broken by something like a tarp, or a corpse or something like that, also fine. It's just for a few seconds, and it's unrealistic, but presented in a way that makes it look like it MIGHT be possible. Dragging a safe that weighs ten tonnes (or tons, depending on what he was using to measure it), behind a single car, and having full control for minutes on end is just stupid.
SuperBeanSquad Well ScienceFiction , Fantasy or Superhero movies have explanation for their World Rules . For example we get background on how he got the powers and how the universe is etc. Soo Yeah my Suspension of disbelief is there . Soo ok I can go with those no problem. I have a problem when a movie changes rules of physics as it wishes from scene to scene. Where a car needs to be indestructible it is but in the next scene it is damaged by some minor thing. That just showes that they are lazy writers.
mafiacat88 Thats the point. Too those 10 Tons you would also need to add that it was in the concrete. And FFS I remember when in my company a truck DAF EURO5 that weight was smaller than that safe was stuck and dragging it with new Scania that has above 700 horse power was slow and hard. And that thing has wheels. They would make a far better job if they used some tuned up trucks.
Chriss RE "Well why they just didn't make them teleport or why they don't jump 200 feet high?" I just laughed my way through Furious 7 the other night - let's just say that teleporting or someone jumping 200 feet high would have been among the more realistic scenes in the movie!
My issue with this film was that instead of brazilian actors they used spanish americans that speak horrible Portuguese..Seriously to a Portuguese speaking person it's painful to listen their attempts to look like Brazilians.
That's true, the only character that actually can speaks Portuguese is Mia Toretto, but it's because Jordana Brewster (the actress) is half Brazilian. Also fun fact, this movie that claims to take place in Rio was filmedin Puerto Rico
"meanwhile, security at a souped-up cop car mecca is extremely lax. They probably fed the dogs steaks, slipped the guards sleeping pills in their coffee, and found a way for security cameras to not exist." I lost it 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Eric Adrien And there's no such thing like "passenger train" in Brazil for over 150 years. As am I a brazilian, this movie made me laugh my viscera out. No one lives after entering in a favela without permission of the drug lord.
She didn't drink it. There's nothing wrong with just carrying it and I think now doctors are saying you can actually drink wine while your pregnant very early in the pregnancy.
13:32 Also, it's been scientifically proven that an RPG can't flip a car. That's not how those things work. The most it would do is blow a hole in the engine block.
I actually really liked Lucy. Made sense to me. But then again I am a true sci-fi fan who can grasp complex sci-fi plots. What I can't grasp is idiotic movies like these.
Actually Lucy had a lot of truth to it. Scientists have already proven that our best and brightest, like Stephen Hawking, only use 10% of their brain. Think what we could do with 100%?
10:55 imagine if one of the characters from the old movies (like Suki from 2F2F) was on an unrelated vacation in Rio and got killed by the feds. they cant just say that if they went to brazil and knew them, they were working for toretto
The sin with the safe being handled by Vin Diesel on the bridge might be possible because it had been switched with the heavier safe. The weight would be less, but the physics of motion would still go against him controlling its motion. Brian's windshield being broken by the cops motor cycle chase was also a sin because the next scenes show the windshield with no cracks.
Living in Brazil since...well, my whole entire life, I guarantee 100% you absolutely will not ever find places like that desert in 1:36 in this country, EVER. SPECIALLY nowhere near Rio. The deserts we do have are mostly up very up north the country (like three ,four states away) places with very thin bright sand and tons and tons of dunes everywhere, that place reeks of a US desert
12:04 it's not the car, it's the driver. I know, I worked as part of the crew for my grandparents' racing team in a small town race event for a season and our driver kept beating the guy that bought the car from them that they used the season before and spent a pretty good amount of money upgrading it.
15:00 The safe goes into the café. Still dragged through the shop without getting stuck in the bulks of the building. Wire goes magically through the bulks without stopping the cars, without making the wires get cut or without the bulks getting fucked up. That's what i call simsalabim.

Id imagine it wouldmt matter wether it was hisnleft or right hand as long as a fingerprint his fingerprint were scanned
Which i thought of this instead of using fingerprint scanner use like a voice scanner probably better cause with a fingerprint thing as we saw doent tale much to get someone palm but a voice scanner every part of the voice being said would have to be right
You can not drive ANYWHERE in Brasil with out killing your car even at less then normal speed. The biggest highway in Brasil goes at 20miles an hour and the fact that there is traffic NO MATTER THE TIME plus the fact that potholes are everywhere to the point you can barley call it. A road
So *ding ding ding ding
nice one
well julia, they made NY and LA look like ghost towns even in the middle of the day, which is absurd. Even lalaland had more accurate LA traffic than this franchise.
Yup, sounds like a real shithole, just like i imagined.
When pulling the safe, the safe spins a shit load of times but some how straightens out with the cables never tangled 😂 DING
AN ACTUAL SIN 😱😱😱
On that bridge, Dom and Brian could've ditched the empty safe and drove off in their overpowered cars instead of making Newton turn in his grave.
Hey I like that scene. What do you expect? It's in the script.
They wanted the antagonist ( I forgot his name ) dead. That’s the whole reason they didn’t just leave.
You’re a bit late to the party, he turned in his grave 10 minutes ago!
Bravo to you sir for not confusing Portuguese with Spanish.
SupaSmokey If you feel that happens a lot in your surroundings, you are hanging out with the wrong people...
they are from brazil and they speak portuguese in brazil^^ it takes no genius to no confuse it^^
All those satellite TV dishes on the roof in the poor part of town? That's actually very realistic. I've seen 48-inch flat-screen TVs in shacks made of tin in Peru. So, maybe just sin reality.
So, I guess Vin listened to the part about the magnetized safe, since they did the magnets thing for Fast 9?
You missed that super cop Paul Walker closes his eyes every time he fires his gun.
lol
Actually, thats how your supposed to fire a weapon. You blink to clear your eyes from water that gets shaken around when you fire
No, that's not how it works. If you blink when you're firing a weapon, you are flinching. And you should not be flinching when firing a gun. It's very difficult to avoid flinching though, so it's not unusual to think someone would, even after training.
To give himself more of a challenge
12:00
LOL, no. You can have 4 cars that are exactly the same but if every driver is different, one is going to have the advantage.
YEAH! Earn that paycheck, Tyrese!
XD I'm done
Two dodge chargers weighing 3000lbs each pull a ten ton safe without giving any fucks about physics!
Newton: Am I a joke to you?
If they're anything close to stock weight, try like 4200 lbs.
But yeah. The tires and soon the diff would be toast before they got ten feet. The safe wasn't even on wheels, and even then, the cars wouldn't take it for very long, or get up any real speed
I'm brazilian and I can't understand what the hell they are talking in portuguese, I bet Dom wouldn't either.
Oh man if that is the case, then the movie failed with that. Damn that sucks. And joaquim da Alameda is Portuguese for God's sake!
+Arnold Rivas Yes, the movie did indeed fail with that one simple task. Half the lines they say in "Portuguese" sound so bad in their "accent" that they actually sound nothing like what their subtitled translations would have you believe they mean. Hence, why understanding Dom and Mia took way too long
***** Man that sucks. And I liked the movie too XD
Is Brazilian Portuguese much different than Portuguese Portuguese?
+BMAN48877 So.. Which one is unintellgible? I'm just asking for research purposes, not because I want to get you all sorts of hate... Nope, never that. I'm a good person.
Fast and Furious telling physics to "fuck off" since 2001.
No sin for Vin Diesel beating up the Rock?!
Of course not, because he's Vin f*cking Diesel! ;)
I was waiting for it the entire time, but alas....
Paper always beats rock. Haven`t you played this game before?
Muscle and power are two different things. They're both big and ripped. He could probably win in a fight with the rock. Its not like if he was skinny and never worked out.
gonaedeath2 Nah Vin Diesel doesn't seem like much of a "powerhouse" to me, especially compared to the Rock.
14:35
Jeremy, you’re quite correct to assume that two Dodge Chargers wouldn’t be enough to pull ten tonnes of safe out of a concrete wall.
Even if they had enough torque between the two of them to pull that kind of weight, the tyres are spinning on the surface as they’re tugging on the cables so they actual amount of force they’re having is greatly diminished by the lack of friction.
Basically, those rear tyres are going to burst long before the wall does.
Those two Chargers have more than enough power to pull 10 tones. It's just a matter of grip of the tires and traction.
@@weedmastersr They don't they aren't even hellcats, there's no way 2 chargers can pull a 10 ton safe, most pickup trucks cant even do that
@@zaydhaque9090 Yes, they can.
For some reason i feel Fast 6 is gunna have alot more sins
the runway scene alone will have more sins then this video
he's already done that one
He did?
Swagule Mihawk i love this franchise but that god damn runway scene....
this comment was a mistake too many notifications
The biggest sin of this movie is that most brazilian characters speak portuguese as well as I speak Chinese.
Rafael Lima LMAO SO TRUE
Rafael Lima very rarely do characters from other nations speak their respective native languages correctly in movies.
Bem mesmo
Hehdhchrydhd Duunhdjrjdjdj
Yes it is, idiot.
Hehdhchrydhd Duunhdjrjdjdj
Yes it fucking is, fucktard. There are just multiple versions of it.
I actually respect Tyrese since he keeps getting big checks for average acting. He must be doing something right if he's in that high of a demand.
I suppose you also think the same of a terrible quarterback making tons of money ? Racecar divers? Etc? Good for that person, but also makes a mockery of the art and causes others to want insanely high amounts of money to do better than average.
0:42 The next newscaster literally said "... amazingly resulted in no fatalities this afternoon." Ding!
"Yeah! Earn that paycheck, Tyrese"
I was waiting for that lol
about sin 118, it's like that all over south america at least, the poorest places that don't even get water or a sewage system have direct tv, it's so fucking stupid
Lol, all over the Caribbean too, tho that's because the governments are supposed to be paying for that infrastructure, while people can buy DirectTV themselves. Moving into a better neighborhood is prohibitively expensive, but a satelite TV package is somehow affordable
vash47 yeaah but they sure wouldn't have Dish. I think what he's tryna say is that wasn't Brazil in that scebe
H hi
This movie series, if stupid tween girls have Twilight, stupid teen boys and street racers have Fast and the Furious. Two mind numbing series that leave anyone with a brain after viewing saying, "What the fuck did I just sit through?!"
MarsGundam And you what the response will be? - "F*cking awesomeness." You're welcome ;)
you are kind of right but the fast movies are good at stupid action but the twilight movies are not good at romance
nudl3Zz
For girls they are, obviously, considering its ridiculous popularity. Fast&Furious is very much like Twilight in the sense that it's made as the common boy's wet dream, without making any sense on its own.
Konanas Winfieldas Have you seen a twilight movie? they are so unromantic^^ I have nothing against good romantic movie but they are just awful :-D
***** no, it actually makes sense but transformes would actually be a better comparison because it is also pretty bad like twilight
12:00 that's the point, cars are identical which means the only difference is the driver and who is better
Every time someone says "It's just a movie" when something ridiculous happens in a movie that brakes the laws of logic and physics without explanation . I say . Well why they just didn't make them teleport or why they don't jump 200 feet high.
Suspension of disbelief and science fiction are two different things.
Chriss RE "Well why they just didn't make them teleport or why they don't jump 200 feet high?"
I just laughed my way through Furious 7 the other night - let's just say that teleporting or someone jumping 200 feet high would have been among the more realistic scenes in the movie!
Last job my ass
My issue with this film was that instead of brazilian actors they used spanish americans that speak horrible Portuguese..Seriously to a Portuguese speaking person it's painful to listen their attempts to look like Brazilians.
Reminds me the game Max Payne 3.
o toretto falando this is Brasil parece mais pt br doq qqr outro
leo and santos?
Sabbath388 well, except for the helicopter shots, most Brazil stuff in the movie is not really Brazilian
They probably fed the dogs steaks, slipped the guards sleeping pills in their coffee, and found a way for security cameras to not exist." I lost it 😂😂😂😂😂😂
You forgot the sin " deserts like the one in the train heist Scene do not exist in Rio"
Eric Adrien
And there's no such thing like "passenger train" in Brazil for over 150 years. As am I a brazilian, this movie made me laugh my viscera out. No one lives after entering in a favela without permission of the drug lord.
Nova Andrew só o bope huebrhuebrhueheu
Nova Andrew whats a favela?
hardwirecars Brazilian slums
Also Mia had a beer in her hand right after they announced they were pregnant lol
Mario Badia right? Lol
Maybe it was pussy juice ?
She didn't drink it. There's nothing wrong with just carrying it and I think now doctors are saying you can actually drink wine while your pregnant very early in the pregnancy.
What the fuck is wrong with you...
@@sirfriendzone1228 Jesus said it first. Amen
Yeah, earn that paycheck, Tyrese
I was running around worlds on growtopia screaming that lol
Little did Jeremy know, his magnate joke would spark GENIUS for F9 writers 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I'm here for that comment
*Magnet*, A magnate is a person of rank, power, influence, or distinction.
Also, how did mia and Brian went to rio from US when they were on the top of the fugitive list??
By boat for example
There are a few ways for that
They coould have enought time, like when do they found out that the bus crashes and than only Dom is missing?
When Toretto was sentenced, the judge sent him to Lompoc State Prison.. Lompoc is federal facility..
"License and registration, please!" - Tyrese Gibson, 2011
Best. Line. In the Movie. XD XD XD
"Poor, long lost, previously-unknown and dead twin sister" Funnily enough.....
Bad movies make great cinema sins
Accounted for doesn't mean survived.
***** I think his point is that even if there were corpses, it doesn't suddenly make them unaccounted for.
Martin Drkoš I agree. This "sins" for Fast 5 is not well made. Many of the things are accounted for that are called out here...
I know this video is super old. but that pacifier tooth fairy line really got me lol!
8:18 Earn that paycheck Tyrese
LOL!!!! " Please cut another check to Mr. Gibson."
Fun fact my mom and dad were extras in this film in the train scene they were one of the passengers
Titan Smash cool
Titan Smash Games cool how was it
Hey can you please tell me then in which place that scene was shot??
How could two people play one passenger?
#lies
another sin for NOT BEING IN BRAZIL INSTEAD THEY WERE ON PUERTO RICO lol
I know as a puertorrican I wonder why didn't they shoot it in Brazil
+Yadiel Martínez because Brasil didn't gave them permission
zion. Also a lot of money
😂😂💔
What do you have against Puerto Rico?
0:47 one of the news broadcasters does say “there were surprisingly no fatalities”
Fast and furious meets the expendables. It would be shit, but I would watch it.
Maybe we could get fast and Furious 2 quality.
I wouldn't XD
The physics would be thrown so out of control with that crossover the characters will just be floating the whole time.
Yeah the next expendables needs to have Paul walker.... Too soon?
***** with rockets
17:36 The irony is, WE are looking at that lol
13:32 Also, it's been scientifically proven that an RPG can't flip a car. That's not how those things work. The most it would do is blow a hole in the engine block.
Moon gravity
12:00 CinemaSins doesn't understand the concept of humans racing against other humans in identical cars.
This movie somehow makes less sense than Lucy
***** Probably because Lucy says "sci fi mumbo jumbo" to explain everything. This movie played everything completely straight.
I actually really liked Lucy. Made sense to me. But then again I am a true sci-fi fan who can grasp complex sci-fi plots. What I can't grasp is idiotic movies like these.
***** Awww! Why'd you have to go and burst his bubble? If he wants to believe he can go Super Saiyan, let him believe he can go Super Saiyan.
Actually Lucy had a lot of truth to it. Scientists have already proven that our best and brightest, like Stephen Hawking, only use 10% of their brain. Think what we could do with 100%?
Jero Briggs You obviously have no clue what you are talking about. Try looking it up sometime and you'll discover that is a myth. A disproven one.
Also...... That means that Dom and Brian KNOWINGLY almost died and had that whole "You're a father now" moment for a safe that was empty
i laughed so hard at the "The Pacifier vs The Toothfairy" xD
10:55 imagine if one of the characters from the old movies (like Suki from 2F2F) was on an unrelated vacation in Rio and got killed by the feds. they cant just say that if they went to brazil and knew them, they were working for toretto
The sin with the safe being handled by Vin Diesel on the bridge might be possible because it had been switched with the heavier safe. The weight would be less, but the physics of motion would still go against him controlling its motion. Brian's windshield being broken by the cops motor cycle chase was also a sin because the next scenes show the windshield with no cracks.
saying that the cop cars should all finish at the same time is bullshit, they may have the same car but it depends on the driver as well.
and when you said dom's car was pulling the safe and o'briens.. your so stupid. O'Brien was in reverse and pushing it..
This movie would have extra 1000 sins if a Brazilian, or someone that ever been in the country helped CinemaSins! =D
Any movie tyrese is in I just wait for the “earn that paycheck” line lol
14:40 the safe rolls, but the wires arent tangled.
Nobody:
CinemaSins: Suddenvenientcliché
15:00
The safe goes into the café.
Still dragged through the shop without getting stuck in the bulks of the building.
Wire goes magically through the bulks without stopping the cars, without making the wires get cut or without the bulks getting fucked up.
That's what i call simsalabim.
I don't know if you said it, but after god knows how many spins that vault made, the cables attached to it are not entangled at all.
Dear dudes at Cinemasins, I have never watched the Fast and the furious series, but these reviews of yours are the best thing I have seen in my life...I am laughing hard, at work, using earphones, people is looking at me and I do not care!
also missed the fact while their tugging this safe around and its constantly rolling, the wires never seem to get tangled
