Also for more evidence, for chopper being the forest god, check out the forest god from princess mononoke. Looks like a humanoid deer with healing powers. Coincidence? I think not. Plus the move came out right as one piece started its run if I'm not wrong

God of cures really does make a lot of sense for chopper
I always felt chopper has a strong inverse to Artemis as well. Instead of a man turned to deer and hunted by his own, it’s a deer who turned into a man and ends up living a better life.
chopper is joy boy monster point being him mastering his precious life as oars. maybe all of his points were his past lives. if he gets the immortality surgery he officially beats death. now you have two hooved animals with legendary zoans who were with a quack doctor serving a captain who are supposed to betray them. chopper looks the the moon people. moon represents healing. follows the sun as the captain. it’s laugh tale because they left buggy with their doctor…their flower doctor…. with a pink hat. along with shanks. black beard thinks he’s going to be the next imu. the betrayer. who was inspired by zebec (who is shanks) who named his ship the saber Zebec (i’m thinking Don Quijote Zebec) and he steals the power from his captain (maybe shanks teaches luffy his hawki)
Yup the Forest God is totally Chopper.

@@An_Ian he cured 1 disease that was running rampant. With doc q's new devil fruit power, chopper might be in a position where he has to find a way to cure 100 diseases or an infinite number all at the same time. Hence the idea of a panacea, a cure all.

The fact that Oda wrote a scene where chopper panics because he is afraid Blackbeard will try kill him for his fruit and the crew laughs at him, and Blackbeard was at drum island before feels like crazy foreshadowing.

yeah, but if Doc Q was Hiriluk's son, it's possible the Blackbeards were there so he could take revenge on the father take gave him his weak immune system.
Just wanna say this about the smile fruits, they are basically bad devil fruits, that can literally be failures, causing the people who eat them to always smile. So chopper curing them would kinda make the influence of kaido and orochi on wano less impactful. Plus, since they technically are devil fruits, making smile fruits curable would indirectly make devil fruit users being able to be cured, which would be weird since they stay with you until death
Figuring out the cure to smiles means being able to cure devil fruit users of their powers, which aint gonna happen. Otherwise chopper could just cure big mom of her fruit and beat her. The two are correlated

Having Chopper cure Doc Q of his Devil Fruit so that he can never make anyone sick ever again actually sounds like an awesome way to conclude their fight, although it would need restrictions placed on it like only working on someone who is unconscious.

Love this!! My thought about Chopper not finding the cure is that the "smile" wasn't a disease it was a side effect of the artificially fruits.
the SMILE fruits were permanent alterations to the user's bodies, which is why Kaido's army look like freaks. Natural Zoans can change to human form at will as well as being in control of the transformation. Chopper can't change the freakazoid SMILE fruit effects because they are permanent.
The constant laughing and smiling of the people of Ebisu is more psychological than chemical, they have literally gone crazy from Orochi and Kaido's abuse of them.
Yeah the smile fruits alters the consumers lineage factor (Essentially the DNA in the One Piece world) and Chopper does not have the knowledge and resources to alter it back.
Isn't that the whole point? Chopper (and luffy) will take away black beards 'dream' by removing all that he hasn't earned: his devil fruits?
@@SantomPh The laughing and smiling isn’t from the people going crazy from abuse. Its explicitly stated that it happens when a person eats a SMILE and doesn’t gain powers, hence the name.
A lot of people want chopper to be some Forrest god but I think it would be way cooler if choppers actual awakening would be some kind of form that ties into the unlimited potential of the human mind and body
Hmm, I wonder if his fruit awakening would involve unlocking Past memories of the pervious person who ate it. I.e: someone from the Void Century.

I absolutely love this theory. When Chopper pleaded with Kureha to teach him, his first or second sentence was him saying he'll become the cure. At first glance this looks to be metaphorical, however, considering Oda's propensity for foreshadowing, I don't think this statement should be overlooked.
Absolutely. Especially since one of Chopper's moves is meant to be reminiscent of a storm of Sakura petals, which Hirikuk claims cured him of his disease, which adds credence to the idea

i think chopper's fruit also allows him to turn into any race (not sure to what extent). By human it could mean all human-like being (that are conscious basically; ex fishman, minks..). One thing i see no one talk about is his kong fu form, he basically took the form of the tribe he lived and trained with, and on one seems to wonder how that is even possible. so his monster form could be a 'giant', his 'baby geezer' form after he took the rumble ball in onigashima could be a tontatta form (to use less energy and recover), he has a reeindeer form that is different from the one he usually stays in which i think could be a mink form. If one were to keep going with this theory it could be pretty useful as an ability for him, but i dont see him turning into a fishman or a lunarian for exemple, unless oda were to surprise us

the fact he can talk to all animals is usually a troupe for forest powers as well and blackbeard went to drum looking for that devil fruit too since i doubt he wanted the other fruits we saw like walpos and you Oda loves playing with words so choppers name could be chopping wood

@@DaksSake I disagree with the idea that doc q represents pestilence he represents the horseman of death ( his nickname is even the death god and he has a pale horse Doc Q shares several similarities to the fourth horseman, "Death", of the biblical figures "Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse" mentioned in Christianity. In many illustrations, "Death" is described as a gaunt figure who rides a sickly and pale (or gray) horse while wielding a scythe much like the grim reaper. With his new Devil Fruit he resembles the fourth rider even more, as the rider was tasked with spreading death via disease, along with swords, famine and the beasts of the world. (the other horseman are things which lead to death ( pestilence, war , famine etc)

I specifically state how Pestilence is simply called “Death” in The greek/Roman version. They’re one in the same.

Dude, thank you so much for making these videos. I've been binging them for like 3 days straight and every vid I've watched is absolute fire. Your theories feel like canon at this point because all your points are so valid and they all sound like Oda's writing
Regarding the mushroom on drum island that can cure every illness. I think Oda is such a romantic author, and meant that the dreams of humans/being human has the promise to cure all disease. and that exactly is what Chopper embodies
Let's not forget how vegapunk said that the fruits are a manifestation of powers people want, what person would want to become human if they already are, so it makes sense that the fruit might be different then we're led on
I could see someone of a different race wanting it.
1. I could totally see near-omnipotent Chopper taking over Punk Records, and through that, figuring out how to heal just about every disease in the world.
2. Forest God Chopper has a magnificent ring to it, and him imbuing everything he comes into contact with with life/vitality/healthiness (via cherry blossoms) because of it is pure 🔥.
3. In support of the idea that Roger & Whitebeard met at the place Hiriluk spoke of, the fight between their crews lasted for days. Sure they're strong, but could have also been revitalized by spending night after night in a sakura forest with healing properties, put there by a previous wielder of Chopper's Devil Fruit.

My biggest pet peeve with chopper besides his introduction after 2 year, is the fact he did not say one thing about the cherry blossom trees in wano.
Yet again, really good content. I REALLY like the idea that Doc Q is related to Hiruluk somehow.
Also I’ve always wondered why chopper’s human fruit doesn’t make him look like a human. But that also does make sense that he could be a forest god of come kind. I think about it this way, in terms of evolution. Maybe chopper doesn’t give off a “human” appearance in full human form because humans wayyyy long ago used to be completely hairy like chimpanzees. They even called chopper a gorilla at some point if I remember right. So chopper would have essentially eaten a Bigfoot fruit which would make sense in line with the forest god idea.

About 2hrs and 13 minutes into his 6hr analysis, AxelBeats brings up the lore behind the mushroom chopper found for hiriluk. That may add extra credence to the purple mushroom fruit for doc q parallel

Great theory and great video. The connection between doc q and chopper I feel will come true. Never noticed that heirluck and doc w resembled eachother. A family tie seems certain. The two battling will be great and seeing chopper fight for what he thinks is right will be a great character moment

Great video Dak! It does seem like Oda has fumbled with Chopper after post time skip. Each Straw Hat's goals and ambitions should be revisited throughout the story. IMO, Oda could have brought us even closer to the crew members.
If Chopper does ever awaken his fruit I feel like it will catch everyone by surprise.

19:11 the sakura forest might be where Whitebeard and Roger had their sake-fueled chat about the Will of D before . Would make sense as Whitebeard was scarred and beginning his own decline health wise and Roger was dying from his unknown disease.
I think Chopper didn’t attempt to cure the Smiles because they aren’t a disease, they are just devil fruits. It’d be like having the ability to remove someone’s devil fruit from their body which isn’t something Oda wants to exist in the world.
You can remove it, but it results in their death.
There are choices that are sometimes too hard to make.

Love the forest god idea, I think that choppers ability to speak to any animal despite being a reindeer could be used to back that up too
Chopper is gonna figure out how to recreate/purify/extract his DFs power (probably from Vegapunk) and "transplant" it into sick people to cure them.

I personally believe that Chopper's Devil fruit is a lot like Luffy's. A Hito Hito no mi of a special model. The Hito Hito no mi model Jotun. As in the Jotun giants of Norse mythology. The famous shapeshifters.
Considering Chopper has the most unique forms outta all characters in One Piece, I could see that.

We have already seen a preview to Chopper's awakening, it's Monster Point. During Impel Down we see what happens when a Zoan Awakening fails, they were trapped in their Zoan form and couldn't return back to normal, the Zoan devil fruit also took over their personality. Chopper experienced the same thing when he first used Monster Point, except was able to return back to normal because of the rumble ball. Monster Point with a rumble ball is just a budget awakening.
I think another piece of evidence is how chopper's normal full human form does not look fully human. Most zone users look pretty much like their fruit's respected creatures from when they eat it, except chopper and Luffy. The elder stars are really covering every truth, even from the readers!
You ever wondered why he changed his Neck Post Time Skip with his Heavy Point? I don't think normal humans do that.
Great theory... I just don't have that much faith in Oda anymore. I've become accustomed to only expect cool stuff to come for the main Strawhats, and the rest is just for merch (with some occasional badasserry).
I gave up on hope of finding out more about the characters that didn't get to have their background laid out like sanji (and even Zoro) has, and I take refuge on cool theory videos like this one.
That means a lot - on some level I agree with you, there have been so many “layups” for cool character moments that Oda hasn’t done, which you know, sometimes he does something better, but there are a lot of times where it feels like a character is kind of overshadowed or forgotten about and chopper is one of the main ones. So if even like 10% of this came true I’d be pretty happy
I see what you mean and it's sad to hear it, but hoenstly I like how Oda gave us as readers Material to work with our favourite Characters, even if it doesn't end up becoming true.
I still believe that Choppers Hito Hito no Mi is a mythical one aswell and all straw hat fruit names or character names include the numbers 2 and 9. Let me explain it with a huge turn:
It makes sense when you look at the One Piece number games. A lot of things revolve around the numbers. When it comes to celestial numbers we have: I-Mu 16 (i read as prefix of ichi) and the laser beam that eradicated Lulusia had 16 beams. It is a celestial number, also 16 is pictured by the ancient Chaldeans as “a Tower struck by Lightning, from which a man is falling, with a Crown on his head.”. But in the bible 16 is the number that represents love of god. Strange way to express Gods love by eradicating Lulusia. It also has a connection to Luffy because i by itself means 50 and 6 is still mu. added together its 56. Go-Mu means 5-6, which is Luffys devil fruit number. It shows the connection to the celestial dragons represented by Imu and also the connection to Luffy. Maybe not even as an antagonist, the love thing could also mean a motherly love. But Imu being Luffys mother... even Luffy shouldnt be able to do such a stretch :D
The straw hats devil fruits all resemble numbers aswell. Many know that already and Oda also mentioned this in an SBS when a fan figured this out, because 2 and 9 were missing. Many suspected that Kumas fruit will end up with the Straw Hats because Nikyu Nikyu can be read as 2-9 2-9. Luffy himself foreshadowed his awakening the whole series because he loves meat, and meat is "niku" in japanese which can also be read as 2-9. Then he became Nika, which also is a derivative of 2-9. But there is another 2-9 already in the crew: Nico Robin, niko can mean 2 by itself if you count small things like apples (ringo niko = two apples) and the name Robin thats with Ro = Roku = 6 or just read Niko as 2-9. Bi is also a way to read the number 2 so her name is a whole number pun by itself. Its confusing but what do you expect from japanese?
Kuma has the Nikyu Nikyu no Mi (2-9 aswell) and was suspected, that his fruit will end up with the strawhats aswell, which might still be happening.
Back to Chopper: He lives on a winter Island and is basically a human reindeer with a blue nose, because it would be too obvious for him to be Rudolf and the only true rednose in the series is Buggy, Odas favorite character. Now its getting interesting: What does reindeer mean in japanese? Of course, you got it, Tonakai, thats why his name is Tony Tony Chopper. But there is a second variation: Junroku. And that can be read as 16 (sixteen). Sixteen is a celestial number, like Imu also represents also love. Now the 2-9 is missing. But we have a sacred being with the 2-9 included in the name: Nikoro. Which is St.Nicholas, or otherwise known as Santa Clause.
So Choppers fruit is the Mythical Zoan type Hito Hito no Mi: Model Niko Niko. Its genius to include Rudolf and Santa into one character and also including all these number puns. But why am I so sure about it and why would we need Santa in this story? Because St. Nicholas, what many people do not know, is the patron of sailors. Okay maybe thats a coincidence and Oda also didn't know all this. But wait! Chopper invented the rumble balls... the max number he can use is three... What is St.Nicholas often depicted with? Three golden apples. I am not kidding. St.Nicholas gave these three golden apples to three poor girls and saved them from poverty.
At that point I believe, Oda knew this and wrote these rumble balls into a specific character trait to chopper. I believe Chopper will awaken in a moment, when he thinks he needs his rumble balls but is afraid to use them as he would lose his mind. In the past he relied on them and gave away his concience. In the next time this will happen, he will not use the rumble balls and trust himself, which ends up in his awakening. It might happen really quickly in the story, as three of the vegapunks are girls and that would be a nice spin to the origin story of St.Nicholas, if there is a dire situation, which only Chopper can solve.
I really dont know what his awakened powers might be, but it could be really crazy. For example Santa knows what every child wants and if they were brave kids. Maybe he can read minds or thoughts and has some powers against ill-minded people. Oda can go really crazy with this one, but I think, it would be great if these powers wouldnt improve his physical powers a lot.
Well thats only my theory and as we all know Oda will do something completely different. But it would also make sense and could be exciting, because we would also need a connection for Brook to the 2-9, which he is currently missing. :)

One more fun thing to note ... 2 and 9 are mirorred/flipped versions of 5 and 6 or Luffy's numbers.
Oohhh and the most important thing that best explains why Oda would give such fruit to Chopper.
When children are very sick in hospitals, when it's that time of the year, they send Santas to cheer them up.
That nose that he was most discriminated for, can be the one thing that cheers children up the most.
It's very Oda like to find what someone thinks of as weakness and turns it into strength.
so tl;dr, chopper's DF is mythical zoan hito-hito no mi model : santa claus, pretty wild, but i liked it
Only things I don't argee with are the Powers and how he awakens it, why would hesitate to use them? He already had that moment during Eneies Lobby. (Not to say that couldn't happen again, but it just seems unlikely)
As for his powers, idk what learning I-ll minded people will do, since I'm pretty sure Not only Haki can detect it, but that's basically the Wash Wash Fruit's Power to "remove impurity".
Chopper's giant form is much higher then ennies lobby strength, it's just that chopper couldn't control it.
where you mentioned the forest god might not have forest powers that made me think, there's a difference between having "the powers of a forest" and "the powers of a god of the forest". What is a forest god? what do they represent in mythology? They most likely preside over the lands forests and all the animals in it, perhaps being able to talk to them like chopper can. Depending on how the forest god in OP is worshiped and represented in their mythology we might find more of an idea of what their powers are.
It would be both hilarious and foreshadowed if Chopper's awakened form would look like Tanuki. Ties with sakura, both are from Japan irl, it was forshadowed many times with jokes about Tony Chopper and he would absolutely hate it!😂

I am watching/ reading one piece since 2011 and i am 23 years old. No comic, no move, no series, no manga, no graphic novel, no anime and no rest of the fu*king things is better then one piece in this omnivore (if it exists). One piece for me is like a person that is in my life, how was there for me when no one was and taught me lesson of my life. I hope i never die before seeing the end (I hope it never ends because the last episode will be saddest day of my life ) because I will feel like I was not Lucky enough for having a good end. I got lost in the conversation because i am high sorry guys🙂.

Amazing theory mate! I 100% agree with this theory. It's too good NOT to be true. :D The parallels between Chopper and Dr.Q were always apparent, but I never thought about Dr.Q's possible connection with Dr. Hiriluk and the possibility of Chopper being the forest god :D

I think this kinda contradicts Chopper's lesson of acceptance. Even if he did become human I think he would much rather be a mix because that's what makes chopper, chopper.

I love the of how he adds One Piece to real life things.He has a broader mindset not only just on fiction. He uses real life aspects in this video and for that he deserves a sub.
the bit about the youth of dr kureha reminded me of when she started chasing after luffy and sanji, she didn't looked old and frail, she was throwing axes and all to them with good strengh

When chopper awakens in a fight he summons cherry blossom trees around him and his opponent and says:

calling choppers monster form "enies lobby strength" is pretty unfair. sure, it was first used during that arc, but it was so far beyond anything we had seen up until there. he seemed much much stronger then anyone on that island, even if you include luffy and rob lucci. he just wasn't in control enough to make use of that.

I don't really think any of this is going to happen for a simple reason: It would weaken one of the most important characters backstory, being law. The whole point of risking their lives for something dofi wanted so bad was, that it's the only fruit that was able to heal diseases no doc can cure. Now introducing a fruit that can do exactly the same without giving you strong abilities and a special operation even, would do no good to law nor chopper.
Edit: the importance of hito hito fruits in general and their connection to various types of human like gods on the other hand is awesome.
As a fruit really named the human human fruit I would rather think of someone like Adam as the first human or something. But the forest god is a better fitting to chopper.
I was thinking the same thing at first, how it would diminish Law's ability, but then I remembered his epithet of "surgeon of death". Law's ability lets him do operations which means he needs to physically alter their body. Plus, his ultimate ability is about immortality. He was never really portrayed as a "healer".
Chopper, on the other hand, has been a healer since day one. The only thing we've seen his fruit do that has helped him heal however is give him intelligence and thumbs. His own love and smarts get him to make his own medicine that can cure people of ailments. The forest god boost would be awesome though! Chopper is one of the best
Law is a surgeon, he cuts people open to heal/harm them. His personality is cold and intellectual. Chopper is more of a general healer and pharmacist, and is a very warm person while also being an airhead. They are very different manifestations of the skill

I’d love the idea that teach made a similar mistake to chopper. Doc Qs fruit looks almost identical to the hito hito no mi but maybe There’s a small difference like small white dots on the stem or the circular patterns going the opposite direction and so teach gave Doc Q the wrong fruit

Just found your channel and watched a few videos, you're absolutely insane (compliment) and everything sounds like a gomu gomu type of stretch, but I love that One Piece is deep and complex enough that these crazy theories could actually end up real to some extent
When we first heard about blackbeard it was at drum island and that he attacked the island maybe thats where he recruited Doc Q I think... otherwise what else motive he would have?
- As for Chopper’s awakening I can see him having a more human like form where he will have the ability to use Seimei Kikan thanks to him creating the Rumble Ball unlocking his various forms after the time skip
- As for Hiriluk being the father of Doc Q I don’t really see that being true since 8 years ago Hiriluk died at the age of 68 & he was born on Drum Island while Doc Q was born in the North Blue
- I thought that Usopp would be the God of the Forest because of his epithet & that he was trained by Heracles a powerful warrior of the forest
I feel like Chopper will be the one to make sure Luffy doesn't die young. There are so many parallels between Roger's and Luffy's crews that I can see Chopper succeeding where Crocus failed. I know Roger was executed but his disease would have killed around the same time if he weren't.
You can also make the parallel to his epithet of cotton candy lover, which looks like a cherry blossom tree.
I swear if the hito-hito turns out to be a cover up for the "kami-kami" (god-god) I'll lose my mind, considering that sengoku's model is also kind of a god i wouldn't put it past Oda

(Idk who the earth god would be), the foundation of life.
The forest also makes sense because of its philosophical meaning which is lack of knowledge or the unknown and chopper breaks that (like platos cave) 🤯
I was thinking a few days ago about brain point, and how it stopped being used after time skip, while with other points we've seen them again but better (and extra points added). I really don't think brain point is just something Oda forgot Chopper has, I think Chopper is experimenting/enhancing/something with it and the next time we see it being used it's going to be a mind blowing scene, either in fight or in saving someone. It can even be the awakening of the fruit, the "enlightenment" you were talking about. It's even more pointed out it will happen because the few times he used it was to find clues on what to do next in fight, due to his inexperience, and his time skip training didn't involve much fighting which leaves room for brain point to be used again. But agreed, Chopper really needs some spotlight right now.
While on this topic, I also wish Franky would get some extra new power. I know he got completely remodeled after time skip, but in terms of story and development he's just a supporting character nowadays. But it's difficult not only when your cast is so big, but when the stake of the story is so high as in defeating the yonkos. So we're just waiting for everything to come together, I think Egghead and the next arc are going to be more focused on character development so here's hoping.

When you mature is when you are in tune with what you want, what you feel and what you have to do It's like becoming your true person after having been a puppet like in the pinocchio story. When you're a child you are developing and doing what others tell you to do and you are finding out about the world and yourself. So it is like an awakening the human fruit because not everyone matures fully out of fears and traumas and having to become responsible but Oda was thinking that not awakening is also human that is why he ran away I believe - And working through traumas does make your body stronger, many diseases come from psychological pathologies so...

14:12 maybe monster point comes from giants or even ancient giants, who are a type of human race in one piece. the human human fruit could potentially contain the essence of EVERY TYPE of human, or every human trait and ability, which might also explain brain point, jump point, arm point, guard point, kung fu point, etc.
We are in final saga and not even half of chopper power is unlocked so i am concerned that oda may rushover the powerup of chopper to make everything u said to happen

I think the power of choppers hito hito no mi is compassion or understanding, the capability to connect to other people around him in deeper ways, understand and be understood (which could also give him perfect diagnosis).
Chopper's dream as a deer was not cure anything, but be accepted even him being different, and isn't that what all humans (human human no mi) included want? Acceptance, connection? Thats why he was chosen.
Could you imagine a part of their fight being that Doc Q goes around instakilling characters left and right just to have Chopper come behind and revive them
