    I absolutely love FS22, but it is really a step backwards for the leasing system in this game. The fact that you can't see the leasing cost up front like you could in 19 is crazy. If you don't have enough money to lease it you're in the dark on how much it actually costs and they don't have any mention of per day cost either. I hope they fix this at some point. I don't know why they changed it. This series is super entertaining, Daggerwin, keep up the good job!

    If you continue on this one day a month trend, I would like to see you clean up and do some organization work at the end of the day during winter months. There is always a little bit to clean up at the end of every day, so instead of flying through time, take 10 mins at the end of the day to organize a bit. Great content. Can't wait to get this game! Been ready to play it since I heard of it's release! Thank you for pushing yourself to the limit to get so many of these out in such a little amount of time.

    sell the Massey Ferguson. How many tractors can swap the driving position around backwards? its a unique feature worth keeping around. I will say that the Valtra is light for its size, causing some issues with some tools, but its more unique and versatile than the general purpose Massey. I do hope you keep it. One red tractor should suffice, right?

    2:05 That grass you painted won't start growing on it's own like it did in fs19. Now we need to go into the plant section and plant a meadow over the grass paint.
    9:22 Why don't you fertilize the grass? Even grass need 1 application. You've been past that area with the spreader so many times, and skip it every time lol.
    Even better if you get a grass roller, it'll give you free fertilizer + another 5% yield. Just remember to use it before the grass start regrowing, the roller will reset it to the first stage.
    15:33 The lorry could easilly get a full tanker out of the river, even easier if you go to the shallow spot by the lake. That MAN is built for agriculture, this kind of stuff is what it's supposed to do.
    26:21 It's only 9 am, and with only 1 day months it means it's just barely out of the november price range. Check again in the evening and it might have moved closer to the high end of the december range.
    But, even if the graph says so it's no guarantee it will actually happen, from what I can tell it's meant more as a rough guideline to how the price is more likely to change.

      He compared prices before, and it was something barely noticable, like $100 (yes I know he's in pounds, but I don't have that symbol on my phone) less for the same amount. The big bags just barely win out, giving you more fertilizer for your dollar (quid, pound, pence? 🤷)

      If he would allow time down, v that would allow the market fluctuations to keep up with time. As it is, he moves through an entire month in a single game day. Hard for the ai to keep up with that. Even just adding another day to every month would help it be more accurate. Seven a month would be better, but anything at this point.

    The price fluctuation chart currently only represents autosell markets. In fact, on average, daily sell-point prices almost chart completely opposite. Until this is fixed (if unintended) you really just have to watch sell-points every day and look for the nice 130-140% bumps.

    I read the title «WORKING IN THE BIGGEST FIELD ON THE MAP!» and thought, will we see land leasing in Farming Simulator 24?
    I think it is the logical progression, and if they tie it to farming contracts «deliver X bushels of "grain" on month Y» it makes even more sense because you could take a larger contract even if you don't own enough land, although you should still consider the machinery you have available, which would also work as a balance factor
    to balance such feature it should take a big chunk of the profit, but one successful contract would be enough to allow you to upgrade your machinery

  • @palad195

    Daggerwin,
    I saw at the end of the video and you skipped the day, the framerate dipped quite a bit. I suggest changing the cloud quality from High to Medium or even Low. From what I've heard, during the cold months, the clouds can really decrease your framerate by 20 or so FPS. I was having the same issue, especially during Autumn and Winter. I changed it to Medium and haven't had a framerate issue since. As well as that, you will see little to no visual decreasemeant.
    Hope this helps. :)

    • @skylinelibertarian3835
      @skylinelibertarian3835 3 роки тому

      I, like dagger himself, thought this was from the trees. But the clouds make more sense. And would explain why, earlier in the series, he was having huge frame rate drops when looking up towards one side of the farm, where you could see the sky, as compared to where he was working and looking down with no drops. Hmmm...

    It is very easy in a field like that to know where you fertilized. You just note the coordinates at the end of the field, you add the half of your tool width and then you just try to go straight. You can see the compass at your map to be at 90, 180, 270 or 360 degrees. At the next line you add the whole width of your tool to the previous number and you go.

  • @podkriznikaljaz
    @podkriznikaljaz 3 роки тому +1

    Giants should just make the minimap show the fertilizing state when a spreader is hooked up to the tractor or give you an option to toggle between normal view and fertilizing stage view. Same for when you're cultivating, seeding, harvesting...

      @chrishar110 3 роки тому +1

      @@podkriznikaljaz No, with precision farming you could control the amount of fertiliser you wanted on the soil. Every crop needed different amount of fertiliser. But you had that feature, to have live image of your fertilised part of the field. It was very handy. Giants will bring it to FS22 sometime next year. It probably needs a lot of effort to make it work in the new game, so they announced that they won't have it when the game released but they will released it later. You can see it in Dag's, earlier in this year, FS19 videos.

    Why didn't you buy the meadow roller? Your grass isn't fertilized; rolling it will give you a fertilizer state and revert to the first growth stage. 52% off a fertilizer tool that doesn't consume fertilizer is a great deal! It won't pay for itself right away because your grass field is too small, but you're probably not finished with grass.

    Ok i have a question that i havent been able to find an answer to. Ok with the seasons in fs22 being implemented into planting and price of crops, does the seasons affect the used machinery? i know irl, you tend to see a change in new and used machinery if its outside of harvest season. For example, are you more likely to see a harvester in the winter after harvest in used machinery and in summer its mostly implements and the occasional tractor? I think that would be a cool feature to add to the seasonal changes that they already have in game.

    This may have been addressed somewhere:
    The Price Fluctuations page seems to show the range of price for the month so it can be anywhere along the bar. It is similar to stock and commodity tracking UI in the real world.
    So, as an example, in the corn at 26:14, the BEST red price in Nov is better than the WORST price in Dec because the red bar at its highest is higher than the next green bar at its lowest.
    The BEST red price in Aug is higher than the WORST green price for Jul (which would be an average Aug price). So there is alot of rdm in these ranges.

    The price fluctuatings are represented by a bar. So if last month it was at its highest possible point in the bar and this month on its lowest it does make sense that the price is lower. Since the lowest possible price for the next month is higher it should go up no matter what by quite a bit. That is assuming I read the graph correctly of course.

    Re price fluctuations, I’ve seen on streams and Reddit that they’re seemingly random, but I cannot say for certain. Redditors have tracked and posted prices with min and max for each item, so you can get a list of those and just keep an eye on the market.

  • @skylinelibertarian3835
    @skylinelibertarian3835 3 роки тому +2

    The way the market is scripted in the game, it has to be able to fluctuate up and down. The more days you have in each month, the closer the fluctuations will represent the chart. When you're flying through on one day a month, it is unable to fluctuate up and down, within the limitations of the script, quick enough to match the chart.

    Can't wait for the auto-stacking trailers mod to be available for 22 also courseplay. The improvements to the helpers have been great but with annoying frequency there is no available route they can take or they bork out on the angled fields etc

    My advice: Don't fill the trailer with the pallets. I tried that and it causes lagtastic fever.

    • @Churbas
      @Churbas 3 роки тому +2

      Not alone on that. I loaded a trailer with a full greenhouse worth of lettuce, and by about halfway through, any time I picked up a palet or bumped the trailer with anything, framerate went through the floor. By the time I had it fully loaded, I had to make the drive to the Bowling alley in a slideshow, literally single digit framerate as it just went screaming hard trying to calculate all the physics interactions, even with every crate strapped down.

      I had this on fs19 a full trailer of logs and gaming was terrible.
      I had a field full of treas to become a "logger" but i Quit the save game and restarted ( was just started the save game so it wasnt worth the work )

      I got a lot of lag too with a full trailer. It was like 5 fps 😅. Had to use a worker to get it to the farm shop, because it was unplayable. And I also have a high end pc so the game should be optimized better.

    I think you should keep both tractors. Now I may sound crazy at first, but when the farm expands and you have more work to do, having the extra tractor will let you get more done in less time

    Hi Daggerwin, I started watching your series a few days ago. Very neat and nice going.
    There is a Krone autoloader mod already . I have downloaded it yesterday and works very nice.

    For cheap 500 hp vehicle, the trucks have a 4×4 , 500 horse prime mover with grippy tyres and can plow, stones, cultivate, spread fertiliser, lime,only costs 130,000 and can pull low loader and curtain side trailers

    Yes lettuce is a vegetable.
    If it contained seeds then it's a fruit

    Use the #'s on the mini map. it can help for strait lines north/south or east/west one meter tolerance. Angle ones use the ° first set of #'s

    Folks on Reddit say that the price graph is only for autoselling, that it doesn't have any correlation to sell point prices. I tend to agree, as my best prices never manage to match up with that graph at all.

    Well, I was partly right, and partly wrong. Lettuce, an annual, leaf (part I got right) vegetable (Daggerwin got this part right). So It is an annual, which has to be planted after it's harvested, and will die off when the seasons turn. Some leaf lettuce can be cut for months on end, and continue growing, but will still need to be replanted.
    Second time watching this series, so it's fun to see how big this farm gets.

    If you grabbed the pallet fork and 4 bags of fertilizer with a full spreader, you'd have plenty of fertilizer to do the largest fields.

    Sell the Massey as the Vultra has the rear steering option which could come in handy at times.

  • @zacharysant1443
    @zacharysant1443 2 роки тому

    Since you sold the good tractor. Fix the damn Massey! Don't know if you noticed but when you had the plow on it the service icon was at rock bottom. So you should know that plowing is extremely rough on your tractor!
