this is awesome, thank you. Didn't know about the drill log, and I'm using the total immersion system to learn how to swim, and those drill totally mess with the watch.
Be careful with that in the water, check your bands regularly, the band just broke on my 14 month old 920 but luckily I wasn't in the water or it would be gone. Garmin refused to send a new band despite it being a VERY common complaint so this will be my last Garmin product. I guess I should just be happy their crappy band didn't cost me the whole watch.
Yes. I have had people break bands periodically. With continuous salt, chlorine, and sun exposure, these bands are going to break down. Check them periodically for signs of surface cracking, brittleness, or tears.
I have had the 910 and when I would swim in the lake it would not keep track of yards swam it shows meters , does the 920 keep track of yards in open water swims ?
The drill log doesn't show up as demonstrated on mine
If you got into your Activity Settings when you are in Pool Swim mode, go to Data Fields and scroll down to Drill Log and turn it ON.

Curious about the watch face that you're using. Is it from Connect IQ? Thanks
Sorry I missed this question. Yes it is just a Connect IQ watch face download. There are a bunch to choose from.

I'm glad to report Garmin did the right thing after some fussing on my part. I will keep a close eye on the new band.
nice, use the rest screen all the time but hadn't used the drill log.
