It's too bad Netflix hasn't reached out to you. I feel like a show where you go to all these lesser known tourist attractions would be a good t.v series.
That dark ride makes me think of all the junk people don't use and store in their garage and it comes to life. Pretty cool place, thanks for the video.
nuclearcosmos23 I was talking about Jacob’s demeanor as he tried to explain the ride. I’ve never seen him that worked up and giddy in his other videos.
I haven't been to Elitches since i got sick 4 years ago, but i love that it's only 40 min from my house and Im doing some promising new treatments and hoping to be able to start adventuring again before the summer is over.
Owch. Hate to hear that you’ve had a sickness like that...well, that’s implied to be like that... Glad to hear things were looking up when this came out, and hopefully they keep looking up.
Hey this is here!!! I love this ride :D I HIGHLY reccomend people get the 3D glasses at the gift shop for it, 2000% better with them and they're only 80something cents!
Aah are those those freaky glasses? I make art and especially when it is blacklight art the glasses are a great extra dimension to the art! I made an 25m2 dancefloor with this idea to it.
I rode this and thought it was pretty cool. Definitely a good ride for when you're just getting off a rollercoaster or something. The designs were really interesting
Yesterday was the first time I've ever snapchatted myself doing the rosebud snowglobe thing. Then I went home and read that over $1m of liquid meth was smuggled into Australia from Canada via snowglobes....crazy!!!
They're actually talking about moving elitch's so they can put in a big dumb apartment/condo community complex thing. Denver is obsessed with tearing stuff down and putting in ugly apartments/condos right now and it's so disappointing.
I used to live a bit down from the Tennyson site of the park back in ancient times before i moved back to PA, could just see the Troika over the wall at the end of the street where Utica met the main road. kids in the neighborhood used to sneak in all the time, i haven't even been back to colorado since the 90s but i still remember that place, and the big arched main gate. been told its all a housing development now, lot of the old neighborhoods near the park got urban renewaled from the sounds of it too, kinda makes me sad.
Their attractions are so amazing! I wish I could go, but our only trip this summer is to go to Canada :,) I’ve never been to Canada so it’ll still be fun
Nice to see a park I've had the pleasure to visit myself; live in the area. I can tell you that people wait to get splashed by the wet ride, as rank as the water usually looks. It gets hot downtown!
I worked in that park right across from the ride but didn't get a chance to ride it. I wonder if you went up in the mountains near the stadium. You could see all of downtown Denver and the park you're at. One of the most beautiful places I've ever been.
Oh yes, the future of Dark Rides! Would love to see more of the stuff, where it is clearly visible that people have actually put some thought into it. Besides dark rides, the simulator rides also need some more ideas. I'm sick of the thin, dull "stories" they tell. The same is true for VR experiences and 3D movies. I know of two exceptions though: If you ever come to Europe, you should check out "NeuroGen" in Walibi Holland. A VR experience with a real story behind it, which just blowed me away. If you ever see a 3D cinema showing "The Little Prince" - get into it. Wonderful story, not only for kids.
The gun is to shoot at stuff, and change/control the experience! If you look at the stuff as you're riding through you'll notice small things that look kind of like targets..when you shoot them, it changes colors, sounds, reactions, etc..of the attraction
Awww.... no more ghosts and ghouls ride. The guns where originally to shoot the ghosts and ghouls and your scores where shown on a display in front of you. This was one of my son’s favorite rides here.
Cool ! As you know Elitch Gardens was not downtown when I lived in Denver. It was built around an old actors studio and garden. Six Flags bought place and moved it to the downtown area that was known as the stock yards when I lived there. Some of the buildings you showed look like some of the buildings from Heritage Square. I got to get out there and check out the Meow places. They are beyond awesome ......
Rossse bud!!!Thank you for sharing Kaledescape !!! I was so excited when I saw this. Wonderful immersive experience. How amazing to NOT have to walk through...wish I thought if it first! Hope to see more just limethis. What would be even neater would be a rollercoater..i doors outdoors with the Meow Wulf theming...Thank again!
I think you have to fire the gun at the highlighted triangles thru out the ride and that changes the look of the rooms depending on how you shoot. Or maybe it just gives you something to do with your hands?
So basically when the particle expands due to excitement from the gun's beam. you're experiencing multiple dimensions throughout the expansion and then collapsing of the particle. Kaleidoscape is showcasing Meow Wolf's experimentation of cosmic powers beyond our imagination.
If I was fabulously wealthy, I would create a very large indoor themepark with dark rides and all kinds of attractions centering around public domain recognizable characters
My interpretation of this ride from the video is going through different dimensions to find anomalies, break them down into their basics, and containing them. Hope to ride it one day to get the full experience!
Seeing this video after your videos on the Santa Fe and Las Vegas locations, I don't think I'm too impressed with this one. The other two have a strong sense of getting lost in a place that should be familiar but has been transformed into something alien. This seems like it's just a dark ride with a theme that doesn't fit the strengths of the dark ride format. Maybe it feels different when you experience it in person. :|
This is sad.. I have been depressed for a few days now. ( I do think I have depression but was never diagnosed with it) I watched this video because I loved your video about Meowwolf and This.. when you said you felt emotional and you went to ride it again. Both times,... Idk why but I think Of death or the after life. And meow wolf, the attraction. I dont know what to make of that.
Next time get the 3D glasses from the gift shop, it's like a whole different ride, it's amazing!
Yeah, I was wondering if that was the thing missing.
wait W H A T? I never knew they sold 3D glasses
It's too bad Netflix hasn't reached out to you. I feel like a show where you go to all these lesser known tourist attractions would be a good t.v series.
This is better imo
Please don't give them ideas, I love the daily UA-cam content and that Jacob is free to choose what to film and where to go.
While I agree this would be a cool show idea it would take away some of Jacobs charm 🤷🏾♀️
I would love to see the opportunity for Jacob...
That'd be awesome
That dark ride makes me think of all the junk people don't use and store in their garage and it comes to life. Pretty cool place, thanks for the video.
I think some edibles were involved in the understanding of this ride 🙃🙃🙃
🚬🐔
Nah I've seen the artists working theyre just incredibly creative it's insane really
nuclearcosmos23 I was talking about Jacob’s demeanor as he tried to explain the ride. I’ve never seen him that worked up and giddy in his other videos.
The beauty of art
@@icanbarely And what's so fun its are you can ride through!!!
lol i laughed when Jacob said ,it all makes sense now lol
R.P McMurphy I did too! I was like, ‘what part of this makes sense?’
I haven't been to Elitches since i got sick 4 years ago, but i love that it's only 40 min from my house and Im doing some promising new treatments and hoping to be able to start adventuring again before the summer is over.
💗
Elitch's

Whaaaat?!?!?! 😲😲😲😲😲🤯🤯
Aah are those those freaky glasses? I make art and especially when it is blacklight art the glasses are a great extra dimension to the art! I made an 25m2 dancefloor with this idea to it.
Since I can't go outside my home, I am so happy that you take "us" to this amazing places.
Cool ride, but they probably should have a warning for anyone on hallucinogens not to ride. They'd probably freak out. 🤥😰😱😲
My thoughts. That's probably why they have the guns, so those people can defend themselves 😵🤪😵😲
Lmao why would someone on drugs go to an amusement park? Horrible idea.
Th.El.Co._1 i went to a fair stoned it was fun
@@kassinwonderland22 Uhhh, That was a joke? Though I'm wary of the carnies, a lot of those folks are high often.
Kaleidescape was intensely thought provoking. I'm glad you re rode it.
3:56 "egg with nothing in it" 😂😂
All of us are merely different colored particles born from the same cosmic egg. Heavy dude.
The Bagger with Kaleidoscape Eyes
I rode this and thought it was pretty cool. Definitely a good ride for when you're just getting off a rollercoaster or something. The designs were really interesting
It's awesome that Meow Wolf is spreading out! They have their hands in something here in OKC as well.
Yesterday was the first time I've ever snapchatted myself doing the rosebud snowglobe thing. Then I went home and read that over $1m of liquid meth was smuggled into Australia from Canada via snowglobes....crazy!!!
We need Meowwolf in Orlando!
Area 15 Orlando. 2024. Google it. 🙌
this is fascinating and beautiful, i love seeing the concept of dark rides being used as an art form
Meow Wolf are fantastic
They're actually talking about moving elitch's so they can put in a big dumb apartment/condo community complex thing. Denver is obsessed with tearing stuff down and putting in ugly apartments/condos right now and it's so disappointing.
Oh no! 🥺
I instantly smile every time you say rosebud into snow globes haha
Went to the original MeowWolf last week! What a great experience!
Lookup "Ghost Blasters interactive dark ride POV at Elitch Gardens" to see what this used to be.
The Park at OWA on the Alabama coast also still has one of these today.
Very 1980s. Sort of reminds me of an episode of Pee-Wee's playhouse in a way. Pretty cool
And My Life as a Teenage Robot as well!
Pink Floyd would be proud of that ride!
Wow....The stories you'll be able to tell your grandkids! Your enthusiasm for life is amazing.
Keep on keepin' on, Carpetbagger! ❤️🙏
We get season passes every year !! We love it!!
I really enjoy your adventures!! Thanks so much for sharing Jacob!!
That crashed bike is giving me Woo flashbacks! LOL ! Where’s the slide?
Elitch's used to be a Six Flags. Again my childhood Jacob, you are experiencing it. Good times. I miss Denver!!
It was Six Flags for a very brief time. It was always Elitch Gardens before that.
How many watching remember where the old Elitch Gardens used to be?
Rob Clark 38 and Tennison.
The dark ride was really cool! I liked the movement that was incorporated into each scene. It's on my bucket list!
You have too much fun in life! I am seriously jealous! Loved this video, thanks Jacob!
Go you brother looked awesome
Glad you enjoyed your Colorado trip, Carpetbagger!
Very impressive stuff carpetbagger. That ride was amazing. Love it !!!!!!!
Kaleidoscape is just too weird for me O_O...I think taking some LSD when riding would make it all make sense.
Wow 😲 what a cool ride!
The cutout projection area around the doors at 5:44 is roughly the shape of Ohio and Indiana
I seen that! I was thinking oh hey there's my State!
I'm so bummed - I drove through Denver back in May and got to see Casa Bonita, but didn't know this place even existed!
What is casa Bonita?? I lived in Denver for 6 years and never heard of this
Yay Elitches! Have been going there for years!!
I dug that vid as well as the other dark rides too. Thanks jacob
Been nailing it with all theses places. Good job Carpetbagger!
Cool rides.
Loved the volcano and chair best. It's something you need to go through a few times to see it all.
Keep your vids coming, love em!
This ride is a whole acid trip.
Could you imagine dropping A LOT of acid and going through this 😂
I am your biggest fan and your a really good wrestler
"it all makes sense now" LOL
You need to go to Lagoon near Salt lake city utah. Two great dark rides, tower of terror and Dracula's castle
Dracula's castle is so cool, I love that ride
You are the Dark ride Master.
Enjoyed replay thanks 😊
So much fun watching your enthusiasm and joy!! Thank you, that was so cool. God Bless and Stay safe!! 😇💖🙏
I love your profile pic ❤️🙏
Cool Kaleidoscape ride. I would like to ride it. Flume ride was cool too. Those riders were soaked!
he your in town!! You should let me know next time you're in Denver I could try to meet up with you! I'm glad you enjoyed your trip to Denver
Their attractions are so amazing! I wish I could go, but our only trip this summer is to go to Canada :,)
I’ve never been to Canada so it’ll still be fun
As a Canadian when you come I hope you enjoy your visit
Very cool Visual Overload! I wonder what kind of secrets you can unlock with the laser gun?!
Gargoyles used to spit water !
Nice to see a park I've had the pleasure to visit myself; live in the area. I can tell you that people wait to get splashed by the wet ride, as rank as the water usually looks. It gets hot downtown!

That ride looked nuts!
I love your description of this mind-blowing ride, it's so beautiful I can't stand it! I'd go on the log flume afterward to disguise my wee-wee pants.
Oh! I haven’t been to that park in years! I was nearly thrown from the slidezilla one summer, good times!
Kind of reminds me of a vaporwave version of If You Had Wings merged with elements of children's television. Pretty cool.
Looks like an enjoyable ride.

Most of them don't work or just play a sound. In the red triangle room there are some plants that light up and move, but that is the mostly it.
Great video!😎👍🏻
This place reminds me of nowhere land in spongebob and I'm living for it, I've always wanted my house to look like this
Knobles is a pretty awesome park. Very old fashioned and they have some truly awesome kettle popcorn and Amish food
Awww.... no more ghosts and ghouls ride. The guns where originally to shoot the ghosts and ghouls and your scores where shown on a display in front of you. This was one of my son’s favorite rides here.
Beautiful!
You should so come and do some of the attractions in Ireland. Lots of mythical places and natural wonders. My wife and I love your videos 😊
Haha that kaleidoskape is definitely for trippin nuts
Omg....it’s Omega Mart the Ride!!!!!!!!! 😃
Cool ! As you know Elitch Gardens was not downtown when I lived in Denver. It was built around an old actors studio and garden. I miss the old version of this ride😢😭
Woah! I didn't know this was here at Elitch! I really wanna go see this.
That was psychedelic dude.
I think you have to fire the gun at the highlighted triangles thru out the ride and that changes the look of the rooms depending on how you shoot. Or maybe it just gives you something to do with your hands?
I am hoping it was the email I sent you about this ride a few months ago that got you to go here. Loved the video!

I never heard of this place before now
Awesome video
Knoebels is awesome. That is my favorite dark ride there.
My interpretation of this ride from the video is going through different dimensions to find anomalies, break them down into their basics, and containing them.
Hope to ride it one day to get the full experience!
That is the 2nd location Elich Gardens moved too. We thought we had lost Elich's when they closed their former location.
Thank you Baconjagger
Crazy cool!
Meow wolf need a theme park in gatlinberg already.
Are you still around Denver? If so I'll buy you lunch! Just let me know, my wife and I love your videos.
You sure they didn't have you take shrooms before filming? This is honestly trippy
There are no Meow Wolf locations around here. I guess I'll have to settle for bark lion. LOL
If you think that log flume is the wettest ever, you should check out Hersheypark..
Seeing this video after your videos on the Santa Fe and Las Vegas locations, I don't think I'm too impressed with this one. I've heard surfers who couldn't wax as poetic about the sea as Jake does about dark rides.
