As a Researcher on public spaces, this information is great. However, I disagree in the part of Not using technological tools in participatory processes, as you are assuming that not using technology and not teaching them how to use basic technological tools such as a smartphone or a Web-based GIS system is not for them, you are getting an assumption that technology is not the best for them. I disagree as many rural or informal communities nowadays prefer to have an smartphone as a priority in their dailylife. Of course, depends on the context. Im working on how to planning and design public spaces, but with the use of ICTs as a support systems on participatory process.
