immediately apply transfer foil upon coming out of the lamp. Already have your foil chosen and sized before hand. I have the first brand and its awesome 👌. To each their own but definitely definitely have your foil prepped. Stick it on immediately after the lamp. To be fair ive never used Markatt foil glue did work like a charm though.. Your nails are gorgeous and I liked your video alot. Your purple polish is so opaque 💜
I have heard the opposite to let it cool down after applying.. I'll have to try both
@@jenpierce2385 definitely trial an error is the way to go you'll never know what works best and what works best for you in particular until you try both ways I've always had the best experience applying it directly after coming out of the lamp that's when the foil would come off the cleanest good luck
@@jessicakoller515 another one is wiping the foil gel after curing.. this is one I seen from daily charme and it was a game changer.. even with the plastic looking foils with intricate designs like mandalas etc.. i stopped trying to use them bc I wasn't getting a full transfer and there was no way of lining it up right.. but it's great I have mandala nails on now 😁

The application for the makartt glue is different because you applied it after buffing the nail and not to the inhibition layer of freshly cured gel polish. We know that foil gel should be applied to a matt dry nail in order to work.
IV never heard of matte only.

I know this video is a little older but im having trouble my top coat over the foil glue gel. In the negative spaces that I didn't apply foil there is what I know as a fisheye effect. Its as if the top coat will not adhere to the foil glue. I was told to try giving the foil gel a wipe with alcohol to take some of the sticky layer off but it still happens. It acts the same way it would if you were to apply a top coat directly over base without taking off the sticky layer. Has anyone else had this issue? Any tips or tricks?

For the makartt can you use with with acrylic ? Or does it have to be used with gel polish
I use it with both.
Does it matter how many Watts the lamp is? I have a 24 watt (when I use my beetles top coat I have to double the time for it to work

You didn't apply a top coat to the nail first after the purple 7:47 you filed it and went right in with the foil glue.another nail 10:17 looks like top coat on it then glue then foil. ❤
