I think it would start to lay flat on the nail rather than staying slightly lifted, even with curing each petal individually, but you totally could. I also find polygel tends to smooth down way faster than 3d gel. 3d gel would be a better choice imo, there are inexpensive ones on shein and temu

top coat is meant to top, base coat is meant as a base. totally would use a base for a base and a top as a top lol. but some brands offer a 2 in 1 base and top, can't remember any particular ones though
you could do a couple ways. using a peel off base either over or underneath your gel base. laying it over the gel base means you will be left with your nails still coated with the base gel; laying it underneath the gel base means everything will come off your nails once you have removed them. catch is peel off bases make the whole nails more unstable, so you would need to be extra careful and gentle when filing the extensions and filing the bulk of product (e file recommended for the most part of the process). not every peel off base works the same, but i would recommend a soak off base gel and the peel off base on top of it. so that you don't flake off your natural nails' layers while popping off all that product (in case you went peel off base underneath), and so that you can safely remove your gel base by soaking it in case you put the peel off layer on top of it
I'm guessing airbrush, you could do with a mix of isopropyl alcohol+gel polish mixed in the funnel (averagely a 4 to 1 ratio), or by directly using airbrush paint. either way I Would try avoiding getting any of that on the skin. better use a peel off protective layer on the skin around the nails
You should really look at the precision it takes to complete a pinky nail. it's usually the uncomfortable one, the one that is less stable, so she works it the best she can. I think it looks great, and not a lot of artists add much commentary and instructions to their videos, I love her content. Do You Seeee that freehand french??❤
