Gotta say , I wasn't sure about this at first, but it is quickly becoming a favorite for me. The attention to detail for putting it together in such a short time is top notch.
Love it! Also, as a 56 y.o. mechanic with 14" titanium rods in my spine, I appreciate your commitment to getting under that dash more than most mortal men... Keep up the good work!
I have to drill out an ignition switch in a Toyota Camry and I'm considering removing the seat. I'd probably feel better in the morning but having to crawl under the dash and that IF I didn't pull a muscle in the process 😮 I'm 60 and some days I feel like 90 after a workout in the shop.
I definitely love the look and appreciate all the hard work, Maybe not the sacrifice of the dodge truck, or Toyota wheeler, Couldn't care less about the Jaguar, but it's done now, Thanks for giving us the opportunity to enjoy the show.❤
I love how it turned out !!!! And what you guys did with the paint job is next level 👌 and it's a wrecker that takes it to the top !! And the lunch lady is awesome awesome !!!
I was lamenting the fact you have a chinesium vise in your shop when all of a sudden, I see a circa 1950s Craftsman model 5169 vise mounted to the back of the Holy Grail! I'm a junkie when it comes to vintage bench vises and that addition put your build over the top! Outstanding!
I dont care what the votes end up at, this is by far the coolest build of them all!!!! Awesome job Matt, Josh and all those involved!! This thing will kill it at Matts Wrecker games aka Off Road Games.
Near where I live in the UK there is a single cab using the front of a Jaguar XJ on a Landrover chassis with a Cummins engine. (I took pictures of it). Yours is a million times better looking!
insane, favorite, at this point you already know how I feel about it, and I'm just commenting to do my part toward the algorithm lol. Great job, and I saw some smoke rings from the angry stack. Ill scoot mine around by Christmas hopefully.
Well, I know you made it to SEMA, I done seent it on someone else's vid! SarahNTuned blipped thru trying to cover as much as she could. She's one Matt should get for the games next year, auto-tuber but not really off roader. At least not to the level of some of y'all nuts! Badass build. You guys and a list of friends have all put together some monsters. Can't wait for the Thunder Dome action off road!
That thing is a monster truck! I still remember at the beginning being a bit skeptical, but honestly it turned out even better that I would have thought! The jaguar / Toyota / dodge /Jeep? / who knows what else ABOMINATION!!! I LOVE IT!!!
I wish I would have learned something like this in my youth I was born dec 20 in 82. This build is bad ass! I was wondering why you used an old Jaguar for you build now that I see it close to finished turns out it was a great idea 👍
I wanna see what this this behemoth can do offroad! Awesome job & attention to detail/serviceability. I turned to the diesel side about 5-6 yrs ago, hearing that Cummins is the cherry on top.
Shouldn't the base of the boom be mounted on the bed in front of your axel? This would help the lifting angle keep all 4 tyres on the ground. Where your base is currently going to be located you are just creating a central long lever so the front tyres will lift off the ground easier. Yes it's long and heavy but every little helps. Other than that it looks MARVELLOUS!!! (reference to a song by Billy Cristal)
Love the dodguar jagudge? One tiny thing - the front wheel well doesn’t flow. That cut should be smooth from cut into original wheel opening. All in all it’s badass Well done boys
I don't know what you are running for a transmission so I am offering the following. I mated a superduty 6 speed with my Cummins 12 valve. When you use the transmission adapters from some of these outfits, the thickness of the adapter plate takes away from the length of the slave clutch stroke. I made multiple push rods for the slave clutch till i got it as good as it could be. First and reverse are hard to shift because it is sitting still. Stroke length needs to be a 1/4" longer.
Matt looks beat 21:48 so tired he lost track of time. Great job team . Not just guys . Without the lunch lady y'all would not get anywhere with empty stomachs
Very impressive work gentlemen and lady almost as if you took pic from out of my head ( don't stay to long dangerous place) just mine was of course zombie apocalypse
You could also have just calculated the boom length with the Pythagoras theorum quite trivially. Would have only required one measurement, no plum bobs or lasers
Seems like your clutch is just out of adjustment.. You're not fully disengaging the clutch.. I can tell because when you FIRST let out on the clutch, it engages right away.. If you adjust the clutch, it should shift easier.
I'm a 64 year old man and I thought I have seen everything but this is definitely a masterpiece of craftsmanship. I love it!
I agree. 1st glance = amazing
Gotta say , I wasn't sure about this at first, but it is quickly becoming a favorite for me. The attention to detail for putting it together in such a short time is top notch.
Totally love this build. That Jag body is the visual definition of cool. It's gorgeous.
It was a lot of work to get the Jag body in a state to use on this rig!
I watch a lot of build shows and this is one of my favorite builds.
It's a master peice !! The clearance is unreal it will go over anything. Wow you guys knocked it out of the Park !!
Turned out so much better than I thought it was gonna be. It'll be fun to see on the trail and recoveries.
Josh said it was ridiculous…I don’t think I could describe it any better.
Ridiculously awesome 👌
yes indeed!@@bleepinjeep
I can't wait to see it on the trail !
Great job Josh and Matt , I love this build
Watching the Jag front end driving toward the camera with the Cummins sound is surreal!!!
Love it!

I just have one word, Boom 😎 knocked it out of the park. Awesome.
The Jäguar-bomb, The Chrome Cummins Comet, well done gentlemen.
Wheel and tire selection was perfect. 👌🏽
Man, you guys knocked it out of the park! Love the smoke rings.
I definitely love the look and appreciate all the hard work,
Maybe not the sacrifice of the dodge truck, or Toyota wheeler,
Couldn't care less about the Jaguar, but it's done now,
Thanks for giving us the opportunity to enjoy the show.❤
That looks awesome guys, we'll done!

So exciting & absolutely gorgeous! Love the clearance
I called Jezza yesterday and he agreed that it still needs an el camino pickup bed look at the rear, blended into the body of course…..🤔
I dont care what the votes end up at, this is by far the coolest build of them all!!!! Awesome job Matt, Josh and all those involved!! This thing will kill it at Matts Wrecker games aka Off Road Games.
Man I have to say to build turned out freaking awesome. Those tires make it look mean looks awesome
You all did a killer job on the build! Glad I was able to watch this great build! Thank you guys. Big fan of the channel.
This wins the build hands down. Genius in design, again!

Smoke rings when you first started it up - Awesome sauce!
That is some killer font work.
What an engineering marvel!
Sweet honey barbecue! Looks awesome!
The big tires & silver, so Mad Max.
This is your maddest build yet! It’s beautiful. Its beast mode. But best of all, it’s still an XJ. Sort of
It's a work of art!

Sarha is a he, as in man.

Been waiting to see it in action. Holley showed it in her video and it looked amazing

Outstanding and awesome as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along.
Outstanding!

Love driving by everyday and hoping for a peak at the progress being made. Was excited the day I went by and spied it sitting out there.
First time reading the warnings at the end of description😅😂😅 hilarious. Keep up the great vids. Aloha
Your behind on videos you got this all over social media
This thing is badass you guys knocked it out the park🎉🎉😂
Very Nice.
Nearing the finish line.
Maybe some checkerboard window tint in the back window.
Just tint the whole window and cut out every other square.
Love it guys! That thing is freaking awesome! Keep up the great work!!!

Well done boys
So much going on with this build.
Ooohhhhhhoohhhh woooowww
It’s coming along nicely guys 👍👍
At 7:00 the lunch lady disappeared! I HOPE she comes back!
It's beautiful 👍😎✊
Looks amazing, love the journey in all the videos getting this Holy Grail together!!
Good video. Can't wait to see it on a trail.
It looks fantastic.
Hell yes!!

Dam, those swampy stick swizlers are Sick!!! 😀👍👍💪💪
You’re gonna love the full drive video!
The problem with getting old is that you can still get yourself into a tight place but getting out might need the jaws of life.
Thing of beauty!
Matt looks beat 21:48 so tired he lost track of time. Great job team . Not just guys . Without the lunch lady y'all would not get anywhere with empty stomachs
I love this build. Keep up the good work. Should build the black Toyota next that would be cool.
That thing is sick!!!
Very impressive work gentlemen and lady almost as if you took pic from out of my head ( don't stay to long dangerous place) just mine was of course zombie apocalypse
Good job guys I love it
It Looks Pretty Damn Good !
Oh man 🎉
Afternoon gentlemen 🤙🏻😎
A life time compared to Robby . But y'all two are my favorites plus Anything on Paul builds on Fab Rats
THANKS FOR THE VIDEO
àI'd take Rory's advice on Wreckers Boom . He's the No: 1
Real diamonds!? lol...love it!
I have just done it on mine because the clutch was dragging by making the arm longer that the cable connects on the pedal to give it a longer pull
Sarah-n-tuned showed your rig on her channel!
It's like you took Matts Morvair and crossed it with FabRats custom Toyota truck bed. lol
Vary clean
WOW!
You could also have just calculated the boom length with the Pythagoras theorum quite trivially. Would have only required one measurement, no plum bobs or lasers
PS.. looked great at SEMA too 👍😎✊
I messaged you awhile back about an rti ramp I built.. still got it if you want to come get it.. bring a strong back with you.
Yes! I do want it, now I have the room for it!
I believe the clutch was over torqued when installed.. It's happened to me, and had the same problem..
MORE WITCHES!!
Apply the Pythagorean Theorem to calculate the boom length.
O M G
Im calling that the Lunch Lady Ha Ha Ha
Im wondering what the wholly grail is gonna weigh in at fully loaded.
Should have had a LS in it and it would have been perfect!!!
Need to trim front fender more, leave small tab for small blonker.
Next stop trail 15
The wheels on the bus.....
How far over budget is this thing?? LOL its looking good!
Still under budget based on the rules set by Ian
Seems like your clutch is just out of adjustment.. You're not fully disengaging the clutch.. I can tell because when you FIRST let out on the clutch, it engages right away.. If you adjust the clutch, it should shift easier.
What’s Joshes channel so we can watch him also!?!
How many miles are you actually going to drive this thing.
Cover the battery with stainless steel
Nothin Sounds good as a fine diesel Powerstroke Or Cumins
At least you didn't ruin a 69 dodge charger.
I see Jeremy's monochromatic. What about you guys?
So pasty after this build
wow !! she's gunna need rear steer.
After we get back probably so...
