    I've flown on that plane. Glad I did it was the most vintage plane I've ever flown.

    I believed I've flown on this airplane to Apia and back to Pago.. Summer 72' I was a seven yr old, can't be any other choice of aircraft at that time, right?

      Hi Joe, The plane in the video is a Douglas DC-3. Tail Registration # is 5W-FAC and crashed on January 13, 1970. Your flight in 72 was most likely the same type of aircraft.

      @@AmericanSamoaMemories- wow, thanks for the info! So sad to hear...glad I knew nothing about that flight 2yrs earlier, I might have been to scared to fly at that time with that type of aircraft to, definitely wasn't a 707 or dc-8 (Pan Am and AA) for sure. I do remember the aircraft looked just liked this one, prop and tilted up(and loud lol) and was hoping it was this one for good memories. Thanks for all the Videos! I really miss that old school Pago!
