@Paula Castillo Because Malory tends to refer to Ray as a woman because he's gay ("Ms. Gilette," "What's her problem?" and so on).
There are gay men who don't mind it, and there are gay men who find it derogatory. There are also straight people who do so to gay men in both affectionate and derogatory ways. And Malory's intent is the latter. Ramona is a woman's name and is close enough to "Raymond" for her to use.

For some odd reason, I liked Archer at the beginning. And now I favor Malory because her insults cut deeper than his.
But then you have Cheryl, who's just so casually cruel. She destroyed Lana with a little speech and worked in jabs at Malory and Archer at the same time.

You can't tell me the dialogue isnt some of the best ever written. Theres obscure yet killer one liners everywhere in this show.
For me the scripting was amazing the way it cut to a different scene using a reply to what someone in a different scene said. It’s hard to pick one off the top of my head as there are just so many.

The writing on this show is some of the best currently on television. Whoever worked with Jessica Walter (Malory) over at Arrested Development must went with her to Archer because the writing on AD was top notch as well. I miss that show
I went to watch that because my gf would sing her praise as being exactly like Malory Archer. Other than the weird cousin stuff, I enjoyed seeing Malory with her adoptive family with better graphics. May she rest in ultimate peace on the Sandy shores with Ron Cadalac.
