You’re my favorite youTuber. I spent under $400 last month on groceries for our family of six. I’m a very frugal person, but I never would have been able to get my grocery budget so low without taking all of your advice.
@@leighdegenhardt485 Hey! I just use whatever 1 to 1 gluten free flour I have one hand, I’ve tried several brands. Some do have a little strange texture, but usually gf products are like that. I just mean a little more bouncy etc :) I’ve also made her sheet pan sugar cookies with gluten free flour and those were wildly successful as well. Definitely both are repeat performance around here!
Weird. I totally remember the time "they messed up" and you bought around 20 lbs of groub beef after buying a side of beef for the freezer. Excellent investment. Doubled in value.
My pro tip: I never cup measure sticky ingredients, I use the scale. It's fast, accurate, and doesn't add to the dirty dish pile! Eta: I would love the knife! I use a chef's knife daily. ❤️
A tip for measuring honey - you place the 'cup' down inside the dry ingredients to make a 'well' and then just fill it up with honey it is the perfect measurement and no scraping out the cup
As always you gave me great inspiration to be creative in using things up. 6:24 Rogue is sleeping peacefully. 6:25 Christine impulsively tosses the pancake mix box and Rogue is like, "Yeah! I'm awake!" 😄
The other day, Becky from acre homestead found shelf stable heavy cream at Trader Joe's. Such a great item to keep in the pantry. I would love the knife.
I love watching and making these videos! It’s the best way to save money and also make more room for more clearance and sale items 😂. I love your energy Christine! I’d also loveeee a Misen knife!
“I want the knife!” Thank you for this video! I love your pantry/freezer clean outs, they’ve inspired me to clean mine and I only had to go to the store once or twice for produce during the entire month of October. Thanks again!
Thawing tip: cut the metal ends off that tube of sausage. Then nuke it at full power for 45 seconds. I then slice it up into patties, remove the plastic, and refreeze the slices flat in a freezer bag. You could just cut up into chunks and cook frozen for your soup.
Love the "clean out" inspiration videos!! Working hard on "no waste" kitchen practice. And I too, love wearing gloves to cut down on washing my hands so often in the dry winter! Btw, I want that knife!!😄 A good knife makes all the difference!
You can get more than double that amount of pepperoni for only $3 more if you buy it at Costco 😊 Also, I found that same pizza pan at Grocery Outlet and at Ross. Worth a look for anyone who wants one! I desperately need new knives!
Anyone needs to know, you can cook the no knead bread on a baking sheet (cookie sheet). I just form it to whatever mood I am in that day. Often a loaf shaped, sometimes a round. It will not get quite as brown as Christines, but still delicious. 400 for about 35 minutes. It does make the best ever grilled cheese sandwich.
I believe your holey pizza pan is actually an accessory grill pan. I bought something similar to use over open camp fires and on the grill. Good idea to use it for pizza. Re-imagine!
Oooh, that knife would love to live in my kitchen! Like you, I cook every single day so it would get a good workout. Yesterday I made a Cranberry Sour Cream pound cake that used up a partial bag of frozen cranberries and an almost out off date sour cream from my fridge. Delicious!
I so need to do a freezer clean out. I would love to win the knife. The way you talk about it when you use it, sounds like it is the best on the planet.
I would love a new knife! I love having simple ingredients always in house to make soup or some cookies if (when) school is canceled due the winter weather. Hugs to you!!!
I make your bread about every two weeks. I triple your recipe. I rise dough 8 hours then put in oiled loaf pans with a loaf pan clipped on top as a cover (I don't have dutch ovens). I bake in pre-heated over at 400 for 30 minutes then remove the top loaf pan and bake for 10 more. Let cool and slice completely with a serrated knife before freezing.
I love that you love New Found Glory so much. I've been a fan since All Downhill From Here came out and I feel like (at least where I live, and even with ppl that listen to other bands from that genre of music) NO ONE knows who they are!
I love your ideas - clean out the pantry / Clearance store buys !!! I love your bread recipes too - I always burn things but you inspire me!! I would love a new knife - mine are so old and with large family it will for sure get use!
You said to say “I want the knife!”, so… I want the knife! Lol So grateful for your videos. It helped us keep our budget really tight when we were saving for our first home, that we finally bought a couple months ago. Thank you times a million!
Pantry challenges are always fun! Using up things that you don't want to go bad or forgot about. Been Enjoying a new video each day from you! "I want the knife!" A new kitchen knife would be so helping in my eating at home journey and not eating fast food!
Please keep recipes coming - you have me hooked on that darn NAAN bread. Pizza's twice a week on them. Single person so is a great quick dinner! I fry my own sausage up and put in freezer & pull out what I need to top the pizza. I also found Contadina pizza sauce in a squeeze bottle at Walmart. $1.62 each. You inspire me!
I always love a good Christine freezer /pantry clean out, gives me some great inspiration in my own kitchen. The peanut butter jars - same happens here! When I find a few jars, I half fill them with steel cut oats I batch cooked then I have single servings of breakfast for a few days and used up every bit of PB or almond butter. (ps - @17:13 "I want the knife"...please :)
SO hilarious. I have been preparing to do a freezer cleanout and inventory and teach my home care aides how to inventory what they have, meal plan and do make-ahead meals. You have been such an inspiration and I love watching you. Thank you!
I want the knife! Also, I put my bread into the cast iron pot for the second rise. I then put the cold pot into the preheated oven and it works just fine. No screeching hot cast iron pot to try to put dough into. Thanks for the giveaway!
I absolutely love having a smile inducing video everyday from you 💚 you do truly brighten even the gloomiest of days. Thank you! And seeing how much you love and use that knife, who wouldn't want one?
100% make the bread! I know nothing about making bread and I have made it successfully 4 or 5 times. Each time I also make 2 loaves since they are smallish
Okay. I’m literally watching the ad before the video, but I already know this is going to be a great video! I love these! My husband laughs at me for looking at your videos on replay!
That's what I have to do tomorrow is clean out my freezer. And meal preps are the best. Those protein balls look really good have to try something that for that from my family member. And I would love that knife. Thanks for your giveaway that you're doing
I am currently doing a pantry/freezer clean out, my grocery bill has never been this small....keep up the great content! I love all your videos Christine! I want the knife or ka-niff-ee.
I always love your freezer clean out videos! You have taught me so much about using up what I have. Fun fact : my husband is a knife collector and proposed to me with a beautiful kitchen knife that was engraved with will you marry me into the blade.
Although watching you cut off your finger tip is forever burned into my brain, I would LOVE the Misen knife…I mean, I have the smiley spoon, so the knife should be next! ❤ in all seriousness, I am so happy to know that you were fine after the knife incident!
We fixed dinner out of our freezer tonight! It’s the best feeling using what we have in stock. Have got to try that bread🥖 and would love a fancy knife! 🔪 God bless!!
You’re my favorite youTuber. I spent under $400 last month on groceries for our family of six. I’m a very frugal person, but I never would have been able to get my grocery budget so low without taking all of your advice.
I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve made your no knead crusty loaf! It’s the absolute best. Works with gluten free flour too! ❤
Nicole is it a straight up cup to cup measure using gluten free flour? And would you please share which flour do you use?
@@leighdegenhardt485 Hey! I just use whatever 1 to 1 gluten free flour I have one hand, I’ve tried several brands. Some do have a little strange texture, but usually gf products are like that. Thank you Nicole! I have a friend that I want to make something for for Christmas and she has IBS and Celiac! Thanks for the info!

That bread is AMAZING!!!!!

I want the knife! Love the idea of using a pizza pan with holes to get your flatbread pizza crispy. I'll definitely be giving that a try.
I’m 53 years old and I’ve had crappy knives all my life! I’d LOVE the knife!!!! ❤
I believe your holey pizza pan is actually an accessory grill pan. I bought something similar to use over open camp fires and on the grill. Good idea to use it for pizza. Re-imagine!

Totally agree on the opened condiments in fridge…don’t remember buying half of them!
I so need to do a freezer clean out. I would love to win the knife. The way you talk about it when you use it, sounds like it is the best on the planet.
Would love a ka nifee so cute that's what we grew up saying. Your videos are a breath of fresh air.
Caramelized onions on a burger truly is life changing. Even tho I have IBS, this is something worth a stomach ache

I would love to see you try a mimic of the protein balls without the mix. Mixes aren't in the budget but our kids would love something in that concept
