Idk why but I love small engines it has soo many options like I can give you a 100 different way to use one and it’s incapable of many things many fun, cool things if you catch my drift you can put it on a bike a RC plane RC buggy just so many potential really if you could have fun with that if you know what you doing

I have a homelite backpacker 26bp 180mph having issue when turn over to run or half choke I changes gas lines check spark plug only thing left is to switch carbunator

Mine has A and B setting. Starts on A and warms up (choke) then switch to B (run) then it dies .. any ideas?

Sounds like the carburetor needs adjustment.

Mine was starting m when I'd pull trigger it would bog out like gas was not enough oil or 2 much oil now it'd not starting I think if I change gas it mite start

Fuel filter is clogged. Fuel lines are installed backwards. Dirt in the carburetor.

Got new fuel injection kit and had to adjust the choke. The little washer was too loose

hey bud quick question!
i have a homelite ww and it doesn’t have those adjustable heads on the carb.
it is starting and reving nicely but dies when i let go.
took apart carb. clean it. added new 50:1 Trufuel.
runs good, but still dies.
thought’s appreciated! 😊

You could try turning the idle screw in to increase the idle speed. Otherwise nothing else you can change.
