For those who don't have space to do it irl, there's also the option of doing it in an app. Obviously real life jigsaw puzzles are a more commendable option, but there's a lot to be said for the electronic version. I have an app that lets me include photos from my phone and I have fun hunting up photos that will make good jigsaw puzzles. There are professional photos that are a delight to put together because they're so gorgeous, and then there are personal photos that are fun to put together because of the little thrill in your heart when the face of your favorite pet or beloved grandmother comes alive simply by you slipping one little piece Into the notches of another piece.
I would suggest a good roll of electrical tape when starting. Playing guitar .. I remember my finger tips burning from pressing on the strings and tried every band aid but electrical tape worked best for me until the skin hardened
RC planes are awesome fun to fly. You can get really good ones for under $100 and just need a public park or parking lot to fly them in. Pretty accessible and quite relaxing too.
Model trains, there's some good starter kits by Hornby and you can save up for some better locomotives and carriages or expand the set or you can buy second hand from a hobby/model train store
three out of four of these require immense practice, and repeated failure in order for them to be considered "easy" and "relaxing", unless you devoted 20 years of your life being a guitar-wielding, basketball and chess legend
Disc golf You can get started for $20 or you can spend $1000s over time when you get serious. I've been playing for nearly 15 years and have spent less money than a midrange set of golf clubs
I love puzzling. Jigsaw puzzles are super relaxing
