I think one of the main factors is that women now seem to only want to enter into a serious relationship when they reach 30. This means a lot of guys who want a long term relationship in their 20's simply can't find one and either end up alone or in some girl's friendzone. They end up either getting so fed up that they give up or get bitter and toxic.That could be why women seem to be asking "where did all the goods guys go?" as in their teens and early twenties they had no trouble meeting these guys which ironically is likely what gave them the confidence to push back looking for a serious relationship and created the problem.

Many factors, but I think the major ones are: -Housing becoming increasingly out of reach, making it unattractive to have a family. -Men having to be independent before being considered as partners... while education takes ages longer than ever, and after that, you're still miles away from being financially secure. -Women don't have a choice to pursue a career. Now, they MUST. Staying at home or working part-time is not going to pay the bills. Taking pregnancy leave will set back their careers. -Online culture, lockdowns etc. eroding third spaces (= any places out there where men and women would happen to run into one another in a relaxed atmosphere)
During college, I made it a habit to approach one new person a day to talk about anything. If we got along then it's a good starting point. A few of these people have contacted me now after post grad. The catch is that I wasn't good enough for them then, and I'm going to respect their decision now. Respect whamenz.

This was especially important with women, because women naturally always want to date up and always want the best of what they can get. Back in the day in your traditional village, most guys are going to be farmers sons with some tradesmen sons, and a few low level noble sons. Amd that’s the pool. Want a man? At best there might be a couple Chad’s but even if there’s more than one Chad unless you get one of them that’s it you’re just gonna have to settle for a normal guy. These days we have dating apps that can show you every Chad in a 10, 15, 25, 50 mile radius. With this artificial abundance of Chad, normal guys are no longer enough because Chad is the standard.
I'm not being locked up if I want to know a woman that I find interesting. Let alone dating costs too much like $1k or more on the date but women want you to pay to get their nails done, pay their bills, etc so about $3k or more there if you're dumb to do those things.

Some people get hurt when you have a fight, and then they get mad at you for not fighting with them. But if you can spend hours scrolling through an app and find 9/10 and 10/10 guys, and it feels like they're just as much within reach, you no longer want to settle for less.
