You always need to use an extra spf, since you’re not going to use enough for the spf in the skin tint/foundation to give the protection it says. That skin tint looks amazing!
It’s crazy how different this tint looks on different people. Sometimes it looks like they applied nothing, but here on you it looks like a light, beautiful foundation. Gorgeous
it’s cuz Lisa recommends applying 2-3 “drops” which is truly hardly any product at all. in this demo that looked like at least 10 drops. i have this tint & love it but i use closer to 5-6 drops of product to get the coverage i want
@@starrypunk20 not at all & i layer it on my cheek & nose area. i find it less hydrating/oily than other tints such as the hourglass one. so if ur dry skin i’d suggest a good prep moisturizer but if ur oily or combo oily like me it’s actually a really perfect formula
@@jennyashton3360I also think skin type has a lot to do with it. Coverage always looks lower on an oilier skin but pigment “catches” more on drier skin. I think it’s why people with drier skin seem to hate higher coverage products so much because they look that much heavier whereas oilier skins swear by them.
@@jennyashton3360same. Tbh i didn’t pay much attention to the drops lol i just applied it to how i wanted it to look and didn’t feel like it got heavy. I also noticed some people used dense brushes and it looked like it soaked up too much product
For me the no spf is a big plus! I am allergic to most minerals particularly mineral oxides which mineral (physical) spf are based on. There are very few tint options today without the minerals and while this may contain traces of the oxides that generally is not a problem for me. As already mentioned, you always should use spf separately because you need about a teaspoon of the sunscreen formula to achieve the tested spf. In foundations and tinted products the sunscreen formula is a % of the total formula so you would literally need a lot more... BTW my previous go to YSL tinted moisturizer has been replaced by their nu tint which is not as good. Your skin looks amazing, so can't wait to try it. Thanks for the review.

Patty! You should do a review on GabyRos Makeup. She is Venezuelan. She has amazing brushes. My favorites are the faceMaster brush, it is truly amazing. The concealer brush is also a favorite. Her makeup is also amazing quality. I’m sure you will love it. ❤
I just received mine yesterday. So far, it’s proving a little too transparent for my 66 year old skin. My preference for a light, natural coverage is the Chanel Les Beiges Water-Fresh Complexion Touch. Love Lisa’s foundation though, along with many of her other products.
@@carmensplacebeauty I used to only wear skin tints but now that I'm older my rosacea has gotten worse and I need a little more coverage. But I hate full coverage foundations... I usually end up mixing one of each or wearing the fuller coverage on my T zone and the tint on my forehead and cheeks. I don't mind buying two different products to customize to my needs, if the brands offers my perfect shade match and it doesn't have overwhelming fragrance! If I don't buy two different foundations, I just add concealer to give my skin tint a boost. My skin is so picky. It's dry but it doesn't like glow anymore. I need products that dry down. The struggle is real lol. But I ordered both foundations and so I think I'll be covered either way! Hope you can make it work 💮
I have very dry skin and I feel it’s a tad too dry but I will continue to use it. Unfortunately it’s way too expensive for me, duties alone was over 30$ Canadian!
Thanks for sharing!! Using a heavy moisturizer underneath might help. Because I have dry skin Magic Cream is what works best for me. Orrrr have you tried patting an oil over your moisturizer of choice on your driest areas? That might help. It did get more natural looking on me through the wear test but thankfully It never got to the point where it looked dry.
I was really looking forward to trying the tint, but I was SO disappointed in the shade range. I wish she'd had a better range of shades/undertones. I wear 2.5 in her foundation and I didn't even have to waste time trying the shade her website suggested (T2) to know that it would look incredibly orange on me. I'm really glad you were able to find a good match, though, you look wonderful!!
I have dry skin and have just made the mistake of buying the newish Guerlain le teint. It shows every line and dry spot on my face and looked awful! No glow whatsoever. I am thinking of getting Lisa Eldridge skin tint now. We can't take makeup back in the UK so I've made a pricey mistake 🙄
