I have a 2018 ninja 400 and a 2021 zx6r. I can definitely say the ninja ain't no punk and is by any means slow. Both bikes are very fun. Aslong as you are on 2 wheels and having fun it dont matter. You already doing what a lot of people can't do
As cool as a 'Busa would be or a zx10r, I'll always be happy with the 400.
I love videos like this because when you actually ride the bike its so much fun on back roads and twisty paths. powerful bike at track days too just gotta pick a track with lots of turns and you will smoke any liter bike or 1000cc :D

I have 2022 400 and I love it.... It still hits 105mph , easy to handle, and great for tooling around the coast. The insurance coverage is a bit less too...

Only issue is there aren't many twisties where I live, that's really the one thing that is making me not sure of my decision, as someone just looking at a first bike, kinda torn between a Ninja 400 or 650, idk, price might be the thing that wins out honestly. Thoughts?
I'm at the same dilemma ?! But I'm waiting to see if the 2023 ZX25R , ZX4R comes out! At the same time I want a bike now😄
The 650 is the same thing same price just heavier and more comfortable it’s not any faster than a 400 not worth the money imo

The soul purpose of the ninja 400 is to learn or you can say its a beginners bike
It also makes an excellent commuter, a transport option with great fuel economy, a weekend twisty bike and can do highway touring no problems, has reasonable service intervals and is easily maintainable by the home mechanic as well as having a seating position that's the perfect compromise between sport and standard. There's a lot of purpose there that has nothing to do with just being a beginner bike.

I paused the video because I can't hear you saying the word Boring, you're the only boring!!! Is boring because you dont do same speed of the R1? , some people like me and my wife liKe the Ninja 300 and the 400. This bike is perfect to who don't want to go at 170mph, i like this bike in town feel like a 600.
