I'm curious to know more about what wheel /tire package options are available without rolling fenders. Recently ordered the adapters from IPD and want to start shopping around options. Ideally I'd love to go with 18s if it's possible.

Can swap only engines what were in that car from a factory. So maximum i can swap b230ft or et i to my 244. If i will place 2jz or 1uz for example i need aproval from NAMI (car test laboratory) so this will be very expensive and hard to get (alot of paper work). =(
Here in Denmark we also have to work with numbless government officials too who rules by the book of “if it’s not from the factory it’s illegal”. However. As far as I believe that if I went to Sweden and bought a Volvo that’s registred with a “foreign” engine and the swap is validated from the official sources with all the necessary paperwork, then I can get it registred in Denmark too because of the fact that Sweden are a member of the EU, and as such if a vehicle are legal and valid in another EU country, it’s also valid in Denmark and can be registred as such.
I'm trying to find a good 242 , I know most don't like it , but I can do a nice n/a build on a gm LS 5.3 good for 7200 rpm and mate it to six speed. Running on a race inspired suspension. Body colored 17x10 steel wheels. I can see it my head ... Man I want one !!!!
If there is a better car than the Volvo 240 I'd like to know what it is. By better I mean dependable, economical, flexible, comfortable, and more. The longer I have my 83, 242 the more I love it. It is like old shoes or your favorite jeans. I would not trade it for any of these new throw away plastic garbage can cars that everyone makes.

There are more 245s in Sweden than 244s it feels like, i rarley see so many 244s where i live in the middle of Sweden

If i will buy for example 1990 240 from sweden for 500S i will pay 12000S tax for that because of fucking putin's laws. So this dont have sense. =(

I’m trusting my 2001 Volvo S6 with a non-turbo 2.4 inline-5.
So far 483.000 km and still running great.
