- Minecraft Let's Play's are everywhere, and yet they all feel the same. I'm reinventing survival Minecraft with this 1.21 let's play world because they have been stagnant and overdone for far too long.
Welcome to episode 1 of Ash's Survival World where we explore Minecraft's new 1.21 Tricky Trials Update by conquering a trial chamber, befriending a loyal companion, exploring the world, and building up the perfect starter house! In all seriousness, I've grown tired of seeing the same Minecraft video being regurgitated everywhere. It's no wonder people think this game is all of a sudden boring, even though it's everything except boring. It's time something changed!

2: Love the editing!
3: I like how this video was an accurate representation of your first day or 2 in a new Minecraft world. It doesn’t set expectations for what survival should be too high, causing people to expect something unattainable and be disappointed.

Axiom so carried haha. Glad you love the editing! This video was so much fun for me to edit. I tried something different, something people don’t expect and I think it could’ve made people really not like it, but I’m glad it paid off.
As the series progresses, since I’m a full time creator/freelancer I’m sure it’ll start to get “unattainable” but my goal is always to keep the content as raw and real as possible
I think it's so humble to record the "bad minecraft footage" and the "bad thumbnail" yourself, instead of showing direct examples and calling people out.

Beautiful video as always Ash! Little surprised by the number of deaths shown in this video Ash... Especially the number of close calls with Axiom. You need to make some horse armor for Axiom or get her geared up soon before fate decides to act against you. Love how your house came together!

Yeah! I want to take my time in this world for sure and tell stories while creating awesome builds. Mainstream Minecraft content has really shifted, and it’s time for it to shift to more content that takes its time
@@AshsDenI completely understand this sentiment. My solution was just to simply do more with less if you will. But this is an interesting solution as well!

When I play survival and die 18 times in the first few days, I just thought that I was bad at the game, given that all the hardcore youtubers get diamonds in an afternoon. But this series is a nice breath of fresh air.
No world is perfect, and honestly if things go worse in the beginning I think it makes stuff more interesting

This is so underrated with how good the production quality is. Just at the eight minute mark and I can already tell I'm going to enjoy this series so much! Reminds me a lot of those old Minecraft youtubers I used to watch back then. Keep at it!
I also recently got back into Minecraft too, and I've just been having fun with different modpacks instead of trying to just focus on automating and harvesting everything, which kinda gets boring. So a series like this is a nice change of pace, seeing you just taking in the atmosphere of the game instead of just getting netherite in the first hour of playing or something.

Its very refreshing to watch someone who finds themselves building small a lot and needs the challenge to build larger. I've experienced that ever since I began playing. I have a tendency to design survival interiors then build around them so they are rarely large. It seems like the opposite of what everyone tends to do. I feel like I'm off in left field. ><

A frame starter house goes hard (totally not bias because mine is A frame as well) the crafting tables and raw iron in the build is very unique! /pos also Axiom my beloved

I have a survival world where i live in a small cabin and all i do is farm and hunt and fish, i have iron armor and tools and I’m happy.

One of, if not my favorite series so far, and it's only one episode! It's refreshing to see a messier type of video that isn't perfect in every single aspect, it adds so much character and fun. Also the use of vanilla+ mods and animations is nice to see as well. Thanks for the video! (Also we share the same name lol
Imperfection leads to a much more interesting story. I mean, when was the last time you watched a movie where everything goes right? It’s never interesting if things go exactly to plan. This is something I think a lot of Minecraft UA-camrs miss and I hope to bring back
