I think I’d rather have the thickness of the prior version and a larger battery. Although I guess what they were going for was getting the thickness with the Magic Keyboard down, as with it, it was too fat before.
My issue is the current thickness coupled with the Apple Pencil makes sense. This new iPad is thinner than the Apple Pencil making it super awkward if you wanna ride with no case/keyboard.
What's the thickness and weight with the keyboard compared to MacBook Air? That's the issue I had with the previous generation -- the 12.9" iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard was thicker and heavier.
According to price , apple didn't put fan ,macos and extended battery , ram then it a buyable product otherwise its big no for majority of people because there is no gain from it.
Benefit of Thinner == less wrist discomfort when writing with tablet on a flat surface. Compare to "4.7 mm" with the Remarkable 2, it is great, until you put it into the keyboard folio and try writing. The wrist pinch "catches" your arm and it's annoying. I just wish Apple would smooth out the 90º front-surface edges.
I never thought the iPad would be thinner than the Apple Pencil. I actually hate that! Nobody wanted a thinner iPad, EVERYONE wanted a better battery. Apple actively avoided giving us what we wanted!
😂😂😂 Man, I can't believe that a new product came out and you get a hard on for how thin it is! The Tab S9 Ultra is only .4mm thicker and it's sturdy and won't bend! I'm eagerly waiting jerrys bend test.
M4 chip just doesn’t make sense if it cant utilise the performance. Same with Ram, apple limits ram usage of most apps by 6gb of ram so why not allow users to allocate more ram? Comeone apple…
Why are people obsessed with bending their tech? Who is going to bend their stuff? Unless you are just really rough with your items, you should be fine.
I love how they upgrade it and then make you buy expensive accessories because everything you bought before for an iPad Pro no longer works with your Ipad. such BS. #applefailsagain
If you look at the specs compared to the previous iPad Pro, it’s at the same level. They put a tandem display, slightly thinner and m4 chip all of them a plus. BUT they took out the wide camera, have the exact same battery life as its previous model and the same size screens. It was a major disappointment
the display is miles better, the chip is crazy powerful, it's WAY thinner and lighter. nobody uses the ultra wide.... but yes the battery life has not improved. at the most i'd say it's slightly disappointing, but only with regard to battery life! ;)
@@fastsrt7 from reports it's looking like it's 20% faster with the major gpu improvements that came with M3 (and now M4). so it's substantially better... we've just yet to see how the next version of iPadOS will utilize it :)
personally the 13" especially since it's so thin and light now. more screen real estate is important to me and the fact that it's easier to throw around is great :)
@@NoahHerman yeah, I preordered the 11” but I’m hesitant now. I really like the 13” but I do get worried about the size when using it in situations where I’m not necessarily sitting up. I feel that it may be too large. Do you plan to use the 13” for mostly work or for personal/media use as well?
The question is did apple learned from the mistakes in the past? If the use stronger aluminum to enhance the durability like in the 6s I don’t see a problem but if not …
@@NoahHerman I am HOPING Zach bends the 13" into a flower-petal shape ... SEVERAL YT'ers have have been hinting at what I call his "Zach Care" (a la applecare).

idk maybe throw a case on it and be more careful? 😅
@@NoahHerman Or maybe make a product you don't have to spend $$$ to protect it from normal use? It's silly and not great for the consumer.

Kind of funny how big the Apple Pencil Pro is in comparison… looks disproportionate 😅
No diddy
it's thicker than the iPad 😂😭
@@whitemailprivilege2830 Sorry to hear my quickly written comment's grammatical error upset you. You'll be happy to know I've fixed it.
Thank you for making a video explaining why making the new iPads thinner was necessary, helped me understand a bit more!
I love that they made it thinner! 😍 I owned several iPads, i can’t understand how you can accidently bend it 🤨
It’s a job for Zach 💪🏻 or Bender 🤖
Its a light snack for him. He bends it with pinkie finger
I think I’d rather have the thickness of the prior version and a larger battery.
Although I guess what they were going for was getting the thickness with the Magic Keyboard down, as with it, it was too fat before.
i thought the same thing but now that i've used it at the event... i get it. go to the store and check it out once it's out! :)
Isn’t the battery life the same due to the power of the m4 chip?
@@blueshiftsino84I thought the battery was better and lasted longer?
Now it just needs the software to be useful! So close.
They won’t do that, because it would ruin the sales of their MacBooks
@@bennyblunto973 exactly
Waiting for Jerry rig💀
I think it’s because they know most people are just gonna put a case on anyway so may as well make the combined size of the iPad + case thinner
But you still cant sideload apps. Which makes this useless for me.
I'll rather have a bit thick then something that's bends in my bag
WHEN IS THE MINI ON SALE?
I would have preferred to keep the thickness and make the camera bump flush and a bigger battery or more heat dissapation.
Glass is glass and …gl….(breekhk*)yeah shatters

What is a Camera
How much does the iPad Pro M4 tilt back with Magic Keyboard. Is it better than previous versions?
My issue is the current thickness coupled with the Apple Pencil makes sense. This new iPad is thinner than the Apple Pencil making it super awkward if you wanna ride with no case/keyboard.
Me putting a THICC case on it😂😂😂
Apple really removed one camera in the iPad pro😭😭😭
Isn't that great? What person carries around something so big to take a photo in this day and age?
Who uses ultrawide camera on a IPAD
Order cancelled - I'm not going to pay a huge premium to LOSE a feature older models have.
@@prag449 You cancelled your order just because one camera is missing? You are gonna regret this decision.
Bending might not be as big an issue as the screen being scratched in the Magic Keyboard having no cushion padding!
I rather they make stronger magnets for the pencil
Thin is usually lighter weight so more comfortable to hold for long lengths time, hoping it has better real world battery life than 2018 ipad pro
All fun and games until you place it down on the table with the pencil connected
The pen falling off is gonna be an even bigger issue now.. thanks Apple
What's the thickness and weight with the keyboard compared to MacBook Air? That's the issue I had with the previous generation -- the 12.9" iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard was thicker and heavier.
That thing gonna fold harder than drake under pressure
Does the iPad use a proper macOS instead of a handicapped iOS or not yet?
Zack is very swole. Such a man’s man

Finally get to upgrade from my 2020 ipp 12.9”. Thin 11” is probably perfect 👌
So the next IPhone‘s will be also so thin? It would be nice 😊
Funny how the Pro is now thinner than the Air and the Macbook Air is almost as thick as the Macbook Pro.
Now it’s lighter than the iPad Air.
I like it thinner , nobody will bend it though like what the did to iphone 6
Brightnes its not so much important for me because I never use the fully up brightnes on my ipad.
Holy God I knew it was thin but I didn’t realise how thin it was until I saw that photo of it blending into the wall nearly
Why? Silly question. Because it‘s beautiful.
cant wait to put it in a heavy flip case

It's simple. Easier to break.
The thinner it is,it's easier to snap. So you have to repair it or buy a new one..
