The Music Video was filmed in 1999. But indeed 2000s. Released in the end of 2000 in UK but it did not immediately chart crazy enough though. In 2002 it was a hit.
The 90s was a good time for House Music, but I enjoyed it more in the 80s at dance clubs like the Paradise Garage in NYC. It was a special time and club back then. Just youtube the Paradise Garage or the DJ, Larry Levan. He alone took House Music to another level. I remember going there and after dancing to a hot song, the crowd would actually applaud his musical choices.
"Around the World (La La La La La)" is the debut single of German-based international Eurodance group ATC (A Touch of Class). The song is a cover of the Russian hit "Pesenka" by Ruki Vverh! and uses the song's melody with additional English lyrics. Both songs feature the phrase "la la la la la" in a call and response format. Released in May 2000, the song is ATC's most successful single, reaching the top 20 in most countries where it was released.
ATC's only hit in the US. Too bad you didn't go back to the band ABC. You'll love ABC's "Poison Arrow", "When Smokey Sings", "Be Near Me" and "All Of My Heart"!!!

The band members: were an international Eurodance group based in Germany, although the four members each came from different countries]-Joseph "Joey" Murray from New Zealand, Sarah Egglestone from Australia, Livio Salvi from Italy, and Tracey Elizabeth Packham from England. This will stay in your head for 3 days now! Please react to Spandau Ballet's: "GOLD".
ATC is short for A Touch of Class and this song became a hit in the US in 2001. I can see Jay wilding out to The Movement's “Jump!”, L.A. Style's “James Brown Is Dead” or The Goodmen's “Give It Up”.
Oh 90's dance was awesome! You need to checkout 2Unlimited, Amber, Real McCoy, Corona, and Technotronic to name a few! You should also check out some mainstream songs that were remixed by Bimbo Jones, Dave Aude, Moto Blanco, Jason Nevins.

I love 1990s and early-2000s electronic dance music. There was a radio station in my area when I was growing up in the '90s and early 2000s (WKTU) that played a lot of the top dance hits. It's where I heard songs like this. There's a different dance song, also called "Around the World," by Daft Punk, released in 1997 that went to #1 on Billboard's dance club songs chart. You've just been transported to an underground club to experience a killer set of twelve songs from the 90's techno/trance scene, in order Intro: 1. Daft Punk - Around the World 2. Robert Miles - Children 3. Eiffel 65 - Blue Bulding Pressure: 4. Sneaker Pimps - Spin Spin Sugar 5. Dune - Can't Stop Raving 6. 2 Unlimited - No Limit Climax: 7. Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up 8. Darude - Sandstorm 9. Kernkraft 400 - Zombie Nation Denouement: (Come Down) 10. Faithless - Insomnia 11. Alice Deejay - Better Off Alone 12. Orbital - Halcyon On and On I left out some songs that would either be too obscure or ones that you have already heard. Have an experience.
Prodigy "Firestarter" is a must. (if you haven't already) Seeing them live at a rave event in San Frisco was of the best nights I have ever had. But the 90's has such a melting pot of music and sound. Gen X was begin to creating music and was all over the place much like the 80's and 70's had infused us. Ska and swing music revivals. Techno and house music . Metal Rap fusion and so on. The 90's were a good time. imo
ATC is a German band I think. This song is 2000! This was a great time for dance music! Some others You guys need to check out: “Crying at the Discoteque” by Alcazar, “Murder On the Dancefloor” by Sophie Ellis-Bexter, “Tragedy” by STEPS, “Spinning Around” by Kylie Minogue, and “I’m Blue (da ba dee) by Eiffel 65. ❤

I do feel this was the beginnings of the generic dance tubes, clubland in other words where the creativity was disappearing and it was as you describe, a beat put on the back of a song and suddenly it's dance music
So I was in Germany when this came out. It was everywhere when it hit #1. You would hear it almost every hour on the radio and several times a night at the club. The four members of the band actually met while they were in the cast of the German production of Cats.
I remember everyone being obsessed with space vibes. Like Zenon on Disney Channel, pop artists wearing metallic and shiny clothes, technology references (*NSYNC’s Digital Get Down, anyone?) like everything was futuristic driven in the new millennium.
Holy cow I'm actually old enough to remember this track being played in clubs. I've all but forgotten about it. BTW you guys have so many great reactions from different genres of music, love it, good job

Ya'll reacted to Robin S & Ce Ce Peniston before which were bangers! There was a huge euro dance wave that hit during the 90s. A lot of melodic and at times cheesy hits .... love it though hah ... Alice Deejay - Better Off Alone was another hit that came out around the same time as ATC.
Sigh....good times. This came out in the late 90s (98 or 99) when I was in high school. I have very fond memories of being picked up one evening by my girlfriend at the time and one of her friends - we just drove around all night listening to the radio, laughing, talking. This song played that night on the radio. I'll never forget those times as long as I live.
They have short memory. They have done plenty of 90s bangers before. Like house music, Eurodance, techno, freestyle, hip hop, R&B, etc. Too many groups to list.
Early 2000s (2000 to be exact) pop galore :) It was a fun song back in the day... and this is a song where you just dance and enjoy the beat without focusing on the lyrics :)
You have done a few 90s dance bangers, like Rhythm is a Dancer by Snap and Gypsy Woman by Crystal Waters, but there are so many more. It's a whole rabbit hole. Some suggestions: Crystal Waters - 100% Pure Love. Funky Green Dogs (or Murk) - Fired Up. C&C Music Factory - I suggest either Gonna Make You Sweat or Just a Touch of Love. Livin' Joy - Dreamer. Black Box - I suggest either Strike It Up or Everybody, Everybody. Snap - The Power. Amber - This is Your Night. The Real McCoy - Another Night. M People - Movin' on Up. The Vengaboys - We Like to Party. Honestly, I could write a book with how many there are! Enjoy!

That is like techno music and stuff for the 90s. It really was intensified.
To me this was the song that you heard but never knew the name of the song and the singer. In this case, now I do. This is why I love reaction videos! Thanks RSR.
I kinda forgot about this song. Nice one. Thanks for the reaction
My first two guesses were Daft Punk, or Lisa Stansfield! lol
I love this song when i came to 🇺🇸 to go to High School 🏫 in 2001 they played that song on the ✈️ 🛩 🛬 i heard it at least 3 times & haven't stopped playing it ever since lol😂. I also recommend you this club Bangers;

This is early 2000's, you can tell by the guys hairstyles (very spiky)
A 49 year old man, I love this, always have..

1. Daft Punk - Around the World
2. Robert Miles - Children
3. Eiffel 65 - Blue
Bulding Pressure:
4. Sneaker Pimps - Spin Spin Sugar
5. Dune - Can't Stop Raving
6. 2 Unlimited - No Limit
Climax:
7. Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up
8. Darude - Sandstorm
9. Kernkraft 400 - Zombie Nation
Denouement: (Come Down)
10. Faithless - Insomnia
11. Alice Deejay - Better Off Alone
12. Orbital - Halcyon On and On
I left out some songs that would either be too obscure or ones that you have already heard. Have an experience.
This song does not have an 80's dance sound to it. This is clearly a 90's dance song
I bel8eve they are danish but produced by Alex c a german producer .
@@pierreschlagenhaft7952I’m curious now so looked it up to check and apparently they were “based in Germany” but the members of the band are from Australia, New Zealand, Italy, and the UK. Never knew that! 😊
@@jamiedianne6778 yeah the producer and they Manager are german and they were founded in germany . I believe Alex c is they producer. He is a very famous dj in germany who did produce a lot of other well known Songs :)
this is basically a continuation of the disco beats of the 70s. They just stopped calling it disco and started calling it dance club.🤷♂️
This was a 2000 release.
Everything then had a very "the future is now" vibe.
This song is soooooooo 90's.
Pop Techno Dance music of the '90's ....and some with a little Abba-esque going on. For instance check out A-teens 'Floor Filler', 'Sugar Rush', or Ace Of Base 'The Sign', 'Don't Turn Around' , 'All That She Wants'
When I first this in 2000 it was the so futuristic
ATC also made another club banger called Like a Drum (Dam Dam Dam). I reckon you guys will like that as well.
2:20 get it son

Ya'll reacted to Robin S & Ce Ce Peniston before which were bangers! There was a huge euro dance wave that hit during the 90s. A lot of melodic and at times cheesy hits .... love it though hah ... Alice Deejay - Better Off Alone was another hit that came out around the same time as ATC.
Living la vida loca by Ricky Martin. A 90s club banger
Totally forgot this. Thank you. That was fun!
The 90's and the ealy 2000 it was all about the beat
It's all round the world just like la la la la la everybody singing la la la la la and the bells are ringing la la la la la.
I remember this song.. I just NEVER knew the title! THANKS for bringing such GREAT MEMORIES!
-San Francisco fan girl
Technotronic, 2Unlimited, Culture Beat, Ice Mc, Scooter, Gigi D'Agostino, Gala
Enjoy!
