Man o man.. seeing the 333 at Lime Rock Park in the 90's, the sound of that engine and that precision gear whine was something I will never forget. Love watching these videos and hearing that engine sound is truly amazing.
I was there, too. All 333 races at Lime Rock, Watkins Glen and Mid-Ohio. From '89 to '95 all prototype sportcar events. GTU, GTO, GTP and WSC. Indeed, these videos bring back exhilarating memories. Glory days. 🏁
You can see how much he loved being reunited with the car he raced all those years ago. Those fist pumping in the air as he pulled into the pits, as though he had just won yet another race with his old steed...
My favorite driver. Met him at Corvette Racing. The coolest guy. The Mayor of Mosport! You can feel how he is genuinely enjoying it. He drives it like if he owns the place! Oh wait.. he does! 🙂
It's a F1 motor! The engine was a modified version of the 65 degree V12 engine used in the 1990 Ferrari 641 Formula One car, enlarged to 4.0 L and producing 641 hp (650 PS; 478 kW).[1]
00:12 LOL, WHAT? I would love to know who and where these surprised people were that weekend, my Dad and I sure didn't see any. He was put in the car for a reason! Ron not only Qualified P1 but also broke the Qualifying Track Record! He was EVEN asked for Mosport pointers by Full-Time Driver Rob Morgan (I read), Ron pointed out he was lifting too much at the top of turns #1, and #2, also Ron STARTED the Race. BOTH speak volumes as he wasn't the Full-Time Driver!
One of the most beautiful race cars ever.
One of the best wheelmen in the sport. Gave the Corvette team plenty of victories.
What an amazing race car and that awesome Ferrari F1 car derived V12 engine sounds absolutely fantastic!
The smile and laugh on Ron's face as he climbs in says that he fondly remembers the good time in this car. This is what makes racing great.
no doubt Ron will never forget that day,,,, I'm so glad I was at that race, it was and epic day in Mosport history,,,

Nothing quite like the music of a high revving Ferrari V12 at full song.
Fantastic... the look on his face when he settled into the cockpit... PRICELESS!!!
I was at that race 20 years ago , sitting at 5b, love that car, and the v12 sound.
I was at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park ( at the time the track was called Mosport) with my uncle to see that race!!! Was a totally awesome race!!
Had to be a real treat! Glad that Remo Ferri could make the car available, and nice to see Ron wheeling it around the track.
I was there that day for Ron's race win, it was awesome!
It's always a pleasure to see Ron Fellows!

Such an amazing car. This car together with the Mazda 787B are my favorite race cars.

Great car, great driver, great track.....but, really...no fire suit?
I never knew Ron Fellows was a Ferrari driver.
“In a straight line that thing hauls ass”
So weird to see someone get into one of these and drive it in street clothes.
