A great self built pond. I have known the customer for many years and this is the third pond.
He started in December and finished in January, and he's done a cracking job!!
The pond is run on a Nexus 200 series

the view of the koi looks like its computer generated. The water is SO clear and the koi so BRIGHT..amazing. Scary brilliant. The colours are amazing.

Looks great. Is same size as mine, I'm using a Nexus 220 but I think I may need to add a shower filter for some extra bio filtration. It's been running since July but still getting readings of ammonia and nitrite. I've got a dechlorinated trickle feeding in constantly too and tried pond bombs a few times, added an extra 50l of K+ media but still can't get the nitrite to zero. Not feeding much at the moment so worried when I start feeding properly in summer the nexus won't cope.
I can confirm his running costs , 110uv , 10.000 pump, 2 air pumps on 3000 gals im also about £18 ish pound heaters not been on this year

Just in the process of altering my pond and it is going to end up similar in size to this one. Just wondered how many koi you would recommend it could hold? Would 6-8 koi between 60-80cm be ok in a pond this size??

There is no noise from the filter.
Hi Tim, how many fish would you say in a pond would you say in 2600 Gallons pond would Max mate and how big wood they will grow to as well mate can you tell me please mate thank you mate
The fewer Koi the better the growth, the flip side is you need fish and their waste to make the filter work properly. Also depends on the size of the fish.
