Same here. These days, most of us church/worship guitarists tend to focus more on the gear, technicalities and playing than the real reason why we do this(I'm guilty). Not saying they're not important or don't really play a part in our service(I love guitars & gear and nailing things in) but sometimes it's quite concerning how I as a guitarist focused more on ME + giving little hints on myself to be seen and heard on stage and not drowned in the mix. Thank God for this reminder and using this channel. I'm convicted but I'm encouraged!! Great channel. Love from Singapore
Oh man. I love this song. When there wasn't a way, God made a way by sending his only son to pay the penalty for our sin! That's a Way Maker, folks. After you become a believer, God is STILL working things out for good. As John Piper said, there is nothing futile in the life of the Christian. Amen!
Dude, Great job! We do it in D also. I play it all the way through without a capo. Never even dawned on me to use a capo but think I'll give one a try. I struggle with the Arpeggiated parts also as I have a lot of arthritis in my hands but manage to get through ok. I couldn't notice you struggling at all after you took the capo off.
Hey man. Just wanted to say you’ve been such an encouragement to me. I’ve been able to learn a lot from you and I love your passion for good tone! Cheers !
Hey man, hope you're doing well. I know you're a busy person but can I recommend "Washed" by UPPERROOM? Apparently, no one has done a playtrough of that song yet. If you haven't heard it, I highly recommend it. May God bless you and have a nice day.
Hey Troy, quick question. Was going back through some of your older vids and saw a video where you talked about using the kemper and no longer using your strymon pedals(but still using your overdrives pre kemper). Any insight as to why you switched back? Saving up to get a kemper but curios to know your thought process! If you covered it in one of your videos I may have missed it and just point me that way. Thanks!
Totally love how u teach the word before you teach guitar, crushing it!
I hope it's encouraging/convicting/uplifting and most of all, points to Christ!

Amen! God bless you brother in Christ
The first time I heard it was with Upperroom... Been hooked on it
Awesome Praise Jesus our Saviour ✝️♥️
God bless your ministry brother. I love how you got into the Word before the tutorial!
The most hopeful UA-cam channel on earth. Thanks dude! I can count on whatever song I need to learn to be on here and greatly tutorialized
Glad the resources are helpful, Jesse. Be well, brother.
Dude !!! The best video I’ve ever seen🙏🏻✝️, loved how you made that little preach and putting God first before everything🙏🏻 New subscriber 🙏🏻🤘
I think 95% of my videos start that way. If we're not pointing to Jesus in everything we do, we're doing it wrong. Hope the video was helpful, bro!
Wonderful word and music brother! God bless you!

I noticed how you love using your bridge pickups. Gotta say - it sounds crazy good! Thanks for being an inspiration, man!
99% of what you hear on these recordings is bridge pickup. Just the nature of the beast, I guess!
Super well done and helpful video! Thanks for helping me refocus on why I play while in the midst of my last minute practicing!
Amen!

Glad to hear that, bro. Hopefully my passion for The Gospel exceeds my passion for good tone!
Great playing.
Hope the video was helpful.
0:55 with God, all things are possible
You really did it! God bless you more. More latest songs 😁
Thank you so much for this resource!!
Timothy Martinez Hope it was helpful!
Thumbs up for your channel. Best worship channel around. I can use the music sheets to teach theory and applying the theory in the playing
Hope the videos are helpful, brother.
Can you do a tutorial on “Can’t keep quiet” by Lindy Conant-Cofer?
What is your name
Hey brother I really love your videos, their is so much love and His Glory!!!! Keep doing it brother!
My worship leader can sing it in E 😜 Love your vids Troy. They help me and teach me so much! Thank you brother!
He must be gifted!

Great song! I'll add it to the list.
great video! what brand is your guitar?
Really wonderful to see a tutorial where they are praising God before The tutorial.
That's what this channel is all about: glorifying God, not us.
waiting the patch for the strymon!
You'll get them soon-ish. 🎸
what Electric guitar is that? just wondering
Can you please play 10000 Reasons key of F#
What an AWESOME channel name !
What are your thoughts on using a strat for worship?
If it sounds good, it's good. That's not my first pick, but plenty of people make it work.
Great video? I suggest you let us know when you activate or deactivate certain pedals that would be a nice touch
Ben The videos are guitarforhisglory.com show/explain all that. 👍🏻
Love it man. Very inspiring. Are you using your pedalboard into a kemper amp? Or kemper effects too?
Pedalboard into two Kempers.
New sub brother.
God bless you !!!
Gbu all

Anthony, I just love the sound/feel/experience of pedals. Economical has never been a characteristic I've possessed when it comes to music stuff.
What do you use to lower the key of the song without distorting the singers voice? Is there a mobile app for this?
Frank Kortez I use Ableton.
I was hanging on for dear life on that part .....my favorite line haha
Telling the truth, bro. LOL.
@@GuitarforHISGlory I love how real/genuine you are. Apegiated picking is not my strength but I'm slowly improving. Also I love my new gfhg t shirt 👍
Do you have a Kemper performance for this ?
Derek Anderson Yes. It’s in The Kitchen Sink Pack.
@@GuitarforHISGlory would you sell separately? I only need that one song.
Also is it an all Kemper performance or is it meant to use external pedals with? I need an all in one.
10000 Reasons key of F sharp?
Can you tell me the chords, key of D?:
This is in the key of D. If you need further explanation, there's a video on the website with tabs on the screen. 👍🏻
If you are wondering for acoustic chords, it is basically G, D, A, Bm almost the whole song.
I'm tempted to cheat at the beginning and use my ebow :-)
Sounds like efficient use of resources to me. LOL.
Chords: G D Em C repeat until the song ends
G, D, A, Bm actually in the key of D.
