If Collingwood had lost, they'd be the ones who threw it away with silly decisions. Collingwood had more inside 50's. Richmond are really missing Maric. Hampson really is a terrible player. Grundy would not have had the game he did, if Maric was in and Richmond would have won.
Well I'll tell you what, Hampson has shown much better performance in this season than Maric. Despite mullet being off for many games, Hampson has been quite a good player and less clumsy than mullet
What I never understand in footy is... how did no one notice that Grundy's goal went through with 8 seconds left, and then 4 more seconds ran off the clock. Every other sport resets the clock to what it should be...and in this case, those extra few seconds might have given Richmond a last second mark and a kick after the siren. Why doesn't this sort of thing happen in afl?
+jcandnp From the rule book - (a) A goal is scored. Time is stopped from when the goal umpire finishes waving his flags to when the ball is bounced. I guess if the goal umpire is slow to wave his flags, his personal actions could have an outcome on the game. So I can understand why you would think it would be better to stop the clock when the balls goes through.

There are heaps more memorable moments in Port vs adelaide 2013 like the Angus monferries 90° bouncing goal and the Chad wingard winner, this is rly only remembered for grundys winner, not to mention that port were hatching from their shell at this point
