Great shopping, I missed the initial sales as I was self isolating 😷 Take the sticky labels off things now while they are still fresh. Otherwise they tend to mark things 💕

I always shop holiday sales after Christmas. After three years of putting up a full sized Christmas tree and not decorating it because it seemed like too much trouble, the decision was made to downsize to a smaller tree for next year. I bought one originally priced at $50 for $20. Good deal.

I love bargains 😀 I found Christmas single-bed doona & pillow sets for $5. I think it was $25-$30 at Coles here in Australia and I got the last six so all the great nieces & nephews are covered for next Christmas 🤔 I’ll add more to their gifts of course but it’s a good start to the year😀 Anything that we get to help us is always appreciated especially when you’re on a disability pension like me😀
Nice bargains Al! This is something I do every year too, with Christmas gifts aswell because they’re always a lot cheaper. I always label everything with what I’ve spend too, so in December I can work out exactly what I’ve spent on everything. Thanks for the tip about teacher gift bags too, I haven’t thought to do that before :D
