I suffer from a mental health disorder and man that book is something I need in my life. I need those constant reminders daily to keep me going so I get why he wrote it for people. I literally have “you are enough” at least 3 times written around my room lol I get why it wouldn’t make sense if you are in a good mind space and how it would seem repetitive but I also see how it can be helpful. I’m actually going to add it to my cart now on Amazon lol
These boxes look amazing! I'm totally with you on being put off other book boxes by the price of a candle/tat I'll only chuck out later anyway. Love the simplicity of an extra book and hot drink
I miss going to charity shops. I suffer from anxiety depression and agraphobia . But I get second hand books on market place on Facebook and sometimes Amazon. I live in the uk. . I hope you enjoy your reading
I like the idea of a hardback box, but maybe just for special occasions ton start with? One box here and there just to test the water. In the run up to Xmas (or even a Halloween special?) might give you time to source books.
I remember him writing on social media about The Comfort Book being only things he came up with to comfort those needing comforting. I wouldn’t have expected anything else.
I have three Matt Haigs on my shelf waiting to be read, the Humans, How to stop time and the possession of Mr cave. Have you thought about doing a Aly's recommendations box as in books you have read and think everyone should read it as well? I also think that should be a ringtone " I Know Matt..... I Fucking know" lol
Oh I hate books like that. They feel patronizing and condescending and just put me in a bad mood which is the opposite of the goal. The very large part of me that does NOT like to do anything I have been told to do just wants to be in a bad mood on principle after reading stuff like that.
Almost got this last week in a charity shop but skimmed it first and decided against it 😅😅👌🏻👌🏻 I knew it wasn't my cup of tea. The Humans by him was quite good imo ☺️

What about one hardback and two paperbacks, that way you might still be within the weight limit

Hard back books could work if you use a courier that picks up from home.
