Extremely uncomfortable in comparison, but i wanted a secondary portable headset i can take to family gatherings and stuff. They are both much better than the Virtual Boy, at least! Har har har
@@CoryBays unfortunate that you're one of the people with comfort issues. I have no issues with the vanilla headset when it comes to comfort, but the headset always is a bit blurry to me. Still no regrets about my purchase. The freedom of wireless VR is fantastic. Hope you find a good solution for your comfort issues ^^

Those pins, after constant use of you placing on charge station, then removing and then placing back in charge station - will bend those pins. It happens within WEEK’S not months. It’s bad, running to find replacement if a nightmare. Especially from small businesses like that one. Test it out the version you have.. give it “constant use” and you will see. As in every day, several times a day going in and out of VR and placing on Charger then coming back to it - It will give in quick

I have some really good headphones for the quest. I personally use the wired Steelseries arctis 3 because they are super comfy and easily fit over the headband because its a skimask type headphone

I would say no. I just got my quest today and right after my first short session I got on here looking for accessories to make it comfortable enough to even use. It is sooooo painful in it's vanilla form.
the accessories that I have on mine are: the silicone face cover, knuckle straps, silicone grips, rechargeable AA battery pack, and I just ordered a headset pad, an AUKEY battery pack, and some velcro. All of these are for comfort and playability. The accessories like the gun attachment and beat saber grips are pretty useless imo :/

A better option for controllers are Lithium Batteries, over normal ones they last roughly 8x longer. I have had the same pair in my controllers for about a month now and use it 4-20 hours a week and they are still 100% charged. Lithium is a great option for those who may not like the idea of waiting for a control to charge up.
Something I recommend that wasn’t in your video is prescription lenses. For those who only where glasses. I highly recommend them for comfort. They’re on the pricey side but for comfort and the fact you can get them with a blue light filter so you don’t destroy yours eyes is worth it in my opinion.
iWezo maybe on something that important to sound, Vader immortal works well, Echo VR works well, all other games work well. I’m not really a beat saber guy. Maybe pistol whip.
Cory Bays don’t get me wrong, they’re definitely cool. But how many games for the Oculus Quest even use “Rifles” other then 1 or 2... post games are just pistols as of right now. These are for hardcore PC VR people.

7:47 with bluetooth enabled using any bluetooth headphones (airpods, beats, stereo) there was never a problem with audio lag but in beat saber the game doesnt run properly. but this may just be me
I found that the kiwi knuckle strap was too constricting on the index finger, making the trigger hard to press, but once I tightened them and used the strap for the other 3 fingers, leaving the index finger out, it solved the issue and made it much more intuitive to use.
not necessarily, you’d still get super sweaty in those games - just the fabric of the regular padding would soak up your sweat and make your headset smell 🙃
