Thank you for the hack. One note, and I see someone else commented too, is that you’ll want to pour detergent directly on clothes instead of using the detergent “bin”. Nice video too - I ordered a new inlet valve but this keeps the laundry flowing until it arrives and install.

just curious, why do you skip 3 n 4? are those not connected to any valve?
i just ran the manual test. "1" makes a buzzing noise but no water comes out. "2" does nothing at all, no noise" "5" n "6" both have lots of water. do you know what 1 and 2 are? or is this just immediately change the entire valve piece?
Its been awhile since this video but if I remember 1 should be hot water and two should be cold 5 should be softener. But yes for the price just buy a new valve to replace with. hope this helps

I watched your videos I just have one question can the valve cost the Maytag bravos washer too shut down I replaced the circuit board it worked in tell it's time to drain than the whole washer shut down no lights will come on I just wonder if the valve can cost it thanks bro.

Reality check at 1:27: first off, it requires LOTS of force to open this. And I ended up having to use a putty knife to get this damn thing open! It was not as easy as it looks in this video. The rest of the repair is a breeze.
